History

Established in 2010.

Veggies was created by Linda, who named the store, and Jahman Mckenzie, who’s the co-​onwer and Business Manager. We came up with the idea during the fall of 2009, at which time we began driving around looking for «for rent» signs on franklin ave, because we wanted Franklin ave. to be our new home for business. It took us a few months before we found our current location. Another few months to get everything started, finished and ready to open on July 3, 2010.

We currently seek to establish ourselves as a well conducted, welcoming business for all to benefit from, in regards to health consciousness.

We have tasty all natural products at your service, ranging from fruit /​vegetable smoothies and juice drinks, to delicious Vegan Muffins and Veggie Patties (the best ever), not to mention Salmon & Veggie Burger that are also the best in the world! Born and raised in NY by two Great Jamaican Parents. Graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) in 2009 with a B.A. in Business Management, so it kind of makes a little sense that I happen to own and manage a business now. I believe in living and loving and giving thanks for Life.
