Unfortunately I didn’t make any pictures from our dinner, but I want to say that it was amazing. After reading so many bad reviews about this place I was kinda scared to go there, but our romantic Sunday dinner went perfect. We went the next day after snowstorm Jonas, the place was empty, maybe just 4 tables, mostly couples. Nice atmosphere, décor, candles everywhere. Looking at the menu you can think that it is a little overpriced(especially wine), but I can say that it was worth it. Maybe I am wrong but prices at the restaurant are a bit higher than on menupages We shared mussels in white wine(OMG that white wine sauce is absolutely amazing) and thin crust pizza with sausages. And I will tell you… that thin crust is something out of this world!!! Will definitely come back again Thank you for an excellent service and food

Finally, after wanting to for so long, I got a chance to have dinner here. Timing always seemed bad, so the build up made me hope that this restaurant was going to be amazing. It was truly amazing. I had the squid for an appetizer, it was cooked and dressed perfectly. I had a hard time deciding on an entrée, and ended up choosing the pork chop with the sweet grapes. I was in heaven. One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. The wait staff was wonderful, and the chocolate mousse was out of this world. I’ll definitely be back.

I will be honest I used to work here. But I must admit after 23 years the food is as good as always. Me and my wife get here as often as possible. The staff is so friendly and the service is always top notch. Mostly regulars frequent Tuscany but if you haven’t tried it you are missing out on this hidden gem.

The service was ok. The food was just alright. Many other places in the neighborhood are better. Wouldn’t go back.

I came to Tuscany Grill with the family and I’m torn whether this place deserves a 3 or 4 star review. The place looks decent with a small bar and small intimate tables. We were seated at a roun table but the table was wobbly. Hmm. Talk about«rustic». The waitress came over to give us a list of the specials for the day and gave a few minutes to look over the menu. We started with the mussels appetizer in white sauce. The mussels themselves were small and not meaty, but the sauce was spot on. We ended up using the bread in the bread basket and soaked up all the sauce. Yum. I couldn’t decide between the branzino special or the pappardelle. Turns out, it was an easy decision since they were out pappardelle. So our decided to get the branzino special, the short rub special, and the spinach fettuccine with seafood. My branzino was ok. The breading actually didn’t stick on the fish. The mash potato was bland but the green beans were grilled and seasoned perfectly. The short rib had an olive tapenade on it and it was spicy. The meat was rather tough. Not exactly something we would order. The best dish by far was the spinach fettuccine. The pasta was cooked perfectly and it had a good amount of seafood. We even concluded at the end of the meal that we should have all ordered the pasta dish instead. I can see Tuscany Grill being a good place for a casual date place as the atmosphere is pretty nice. This place is worth another try.

I arrived at Tuscany Grill with my fiancé Gina at 735pm for an 8-pm reservation for 6people Admittedly those other four people are habitually late for plans such as these. We assumed that we were fortunate as we arrived, because we promptly ordered a glass of wine and spoke to the owner of the establisment. Whom had obviously had a few glasses already. We told said owner that the other four would likely be 10 minutes late, to which he responded. «thats no problem, things happen, just let me know when the arrive and a table will be immediatly available.» I was relieved that we had notified him that our accompanieing freinds were typically a few mins late and that it was all accounted for. all the while he continued to enjoy several glasses of wine.(visibally wasted) THEOWNER. Just as we assumed our friends arrived about 5 mins late. we asked him to arrange a table as soon as they showed and rightfully expected to wait for a few minutes. But after 30 mins we started to ask again, and when again nothing was facilitated we asked again. Finally this chivalrous owner approached us to inform us that we had a table. This is where things went ridiculously wrong. As he condecendingly escorted us to our table he lectured us on how we were late and it wasnt his fault. For a 3rd time we appologized that a couple of our friends were literally under 10 minutes late. This gentleman refused to accept any explainiation and began badgering my Fiancé’ in a grotesque manner. He repeatedly beraded her personally for not being there on time when in face WE were. After making several very poor mannered comments to my Fiancé; I had delt with enough. I told this man that if he had something to say he should say it to another man like me but he should definitly not speak that way to my girl. At the same time I said«listen pal if you dont want us to stay here and pay you our money than we are completely content in leaveing«. Thats when he showed his real classless colors. He hollared out in his own resturaunt, «your a fucking scumbag». infront of several male female and children customers. Being a decently trained Combat Marine I know what I wanted to do. But instead I maintained discipline and I walked out of his place making sure only that he didnt lay hands on my fiancé. I then ignored him as he ran out of his establisment attempting to provoke me with his profaine attitude. I guess my humble advice would be just to be wary of this drunks antics. Theres several great itallian resturants in Bay Ridge, I see no reason to pay this nut your money.

So the taco place next door was packed so we couldn’t go there and we were starving, so we decided to try this place out. I ordered the lemon herb chicken breast and my boyfriend ordered the pork chop special. Not only did our food come significantly later than people who arrived after us, but any time we tried to get a server’s attention we were IGNORED! We saw our waitress a total of two times which is insane! We weren’t asked how we’re doing or how the food is… The food tasted good, but it was overpriced and definitely not worth the poor service. The only time we got quick service was once we paid so she checked to see how much we tipped. Ridiculous.

I’ve been here at least three times and the food is always Excellent. They Offer valet but I never see the guy so I usually just find a spot on my own. Not hard if u are used to parking in the neighborhood. Pricing is decent and this place is perfect for large parties or even just two. I recommend sharing everything so u can taste a variety. As far as appetizers, The flatbreads are good but the meatballs are a better choice in my eyes. Also the cantolini hummus is bomb dot com. Pork chops are amazing but usually a special and not on the menu. If u ask they can make it for u. Filet minion is precisely delish. The Rigatoni is excellent also.

Really great place! This is the second time I have visited this place and I sat and wondered why it took me so long to return. The service is wonderful, the drinks are not fancy but done perfectly(I love dirty gin martini’s) and the food is always fresh and delicious. Each time I have been here they have exceeded my expectations and I walk out relaxed and satisfied. Worth the drive to bay ridge.

Nice date spot. We had a lovely appetizer, a roasted pepper stuffed with fresh mozarella and ricotta with a balsamic reduction. We shared a tomato, mozzarella pizza with thin crust that reminded me of the pizza I had this summer in Rome right by the Vatican along with a fresh salad. I definitely need to come back to try the other dishes as their menu seemed interesting and everything looked delicious. I had a wonderful time here. We never felt rushed and the service was great. Even our fellow patrons were friendly, engaging us in conversation. I even shared the chocolates my date brought me with the patrons at the bar everyone was so pleasant.

Tuscany Grill is the place to go for the most delicious Italian food in New York City. I say this having been to dozens of Italian restaurants throughout the five boroughs as a native New Yorker. The reason I would rank Tuscany atop this list is for several reasons. It’s hard to eat a meal there without literally closing your eyes and questioning if the food is possibly that good. There is a superb wine list, from which helpful waiters will assist you in perfectly pairing a selection with your meal. The atmosphere is dimly lit, making it the most ideal place for a date. The filet mignon with wild mushrooms is probably the best steak I’ve ever had, based on an amazing sauce and meat that is cooked to perfection. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, I’ve tried almost all of it at this point. It is impossible for me to speak highly enough of Tuscany Grill. I hope it’s around for many years to come because I can’t get enough.

Consistently great food and cocktails that never disappoint. Perfect for a date night or large parties. The bocconcini appetizer is a must! Food is always amazing, not a bad item on the menu.

We arrived on time for our reservation and explained that our friends were a few minutes late(10 Minutes) after assuring us that they were running behind with the table anyhow the Owner was condescending and rude to me numerous times, stating«well your the ones that are late» meanwhile our table was still being prepared. we were very patient with his unorganized manor and drunken behavior. After several condescending remarks my fiancé took exception. The owner was so intoxicated that he didn’t even remember speaking with him upon our arrival. He accused us of being late which was untrue and loudly called my fiancé a SCHMUCK in front of the whole restaurant. My fiancé said we need to leave, this man isn’t getting a cent from us. The owner followed us outside and continued to verbally assault my fiancé with his arrogance. I will never return to this dump.

We used Tuscany Grill for a private party! Marni was wonderful, down-to-earth and gracious! The restaurant was warm and inviting! The wait staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and accommodating! Luisa was especially great! Everyone loved the food… the pizza, the penne a la vodka, the salmon, and pork tenderloins! Would highly recommend this restaurant for dining! Consider it if you are trying to plan a private party! We had the entire restaurant to ourselves!!! It was lovely! Can’t wait to go back for dinner one… or two… times!

Definitely my local favorite. Food is consistently good. I don’t think anything is bad but some of my favorites are the pork tenderloin, pizzas, summer pasta, wild mushroom fric… I could go on. Also it’s small and pretty :) I have to say I’m also shocked at the service comments. I’ve been going to this place for twenty years. Staff is always awesome. We’ve had small dinners, large dinners and private parties and everyone — owners, wait staff, bar staff have always been awesome.

The is def a hidden gem in bay ridge. We forgot how good Tuscany grill was. It’s been years since we’ve gone. I called 15 min before we went for a reservation on a Saturday nite. It was a longshot but we got it. We waited at the bar a few minutes. We chatted with the chefs husband, really nice man and ordered some drinks at the bar. We started with the ricotta appi and house salad. We also ordered the soppersata and dry sausage plate. The ricotta was to die for. I wish I could eat it everyday. For the main we had the tuna steak which was a special and the steak. The tuna was cooked perfectly. The steak delish. Eat came with sides that were just as good. Our waitress forgot to bring the soppersata out to us but gave us an after dinner drink on here, which was very nice. For dessert I had the homemade key line pie. If was a delish meal. Service was great. Staff was excellent. And very we’ll priced. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Not a bad restaurant at all. For a neighborhood spot that you decide to go to eat at that night I don’t mind this place at all. However it is not good enough to crave or to look forward to the next time you eat there. I had pasta with broccoli rave and sausage and it was good but nothing too special. It was a little dry but the sausage had great taste. I wish there was more of it though. I would eat here again but it probably won’t be too soon.

I had a good experience here as the service was exceptional on top of the fact that I came with a party of 20. The food was served in a reasonable time. I ordered the hunter, which is a baked pasta dish. It was good, and filling. I thought the dishes were a lil over priced, but the service and made up for it. The manager even comped a round of drinks on the house which was much appreciated.

Excellent service and food! I’ve seen the other bad reviews about this place and I can’t figure out why. We came here with my parents and left completely satisfied. We were seated right away and the waitress was friendly and professional the whole time. She took our drink orders and we got a bottle of wine for the table. She came back with the bottle, and our other drinks and proceeded to take our orders. The drinks were well made and the wine(which I cant remember what we ordered) was very good and very reasonably priced. We ordered the clams and mushrooms as appetizers and the came out within a reasonable time. The clams were fresh and the mushrooms, sauteed with sherry & a touch of cream, were very good. For dinner we each ordered something different but I had the Pork tenderloin. I have to say, it tasted really good. The portions for all our meals was perfect as we never felt like it wasn’t enough. The decorations to me were kinda old but maybe that is the look they were going for? Who knows? But throughout the night the waitress would stop by and ask how we were doing and refilled our drinks. She seemed genuinely interested in our well being. The place is kinda small but that doesn’t take away from the great experience we had. In fact, my parents have come back a couple of times after this to enjoy a good meal. If you in the neighborhood, I would recommend stopping to eat here.

Brought family here for a nice night out and much to my surprise is was a horrible experience. Service wasn’t friendly. Clams we ordered weren’t cooked thoroughly. Pasta and sauce tasted like it came from a jar. To top it off– I lost a bracelet here and the staff wasn’t even helpful in assisting me to look for it. Never again.
