Trilok Fusion Arts Inc

The Trilok Fusion Arts Inc., rental space is apparently managed by students which is not the best for professionalism or efficiency as priority is spring break and finals, not customer service, follow-​up and rental policies. After almost 2 months of trying to rent the auditorium at Trilok, I ultimately ended up going elsewhere because Trilok has no real knowledge of their chair and table inventory, unreasonable policies, and price changes. Trilok is not ready or equipped to provide the service you expect for your event. In March I was lead to believe they offered the services and equipment needed to accommodate my event, only to find out at the end of April that they didn’t have enough equipment and was then told I had to spend more money to rent the additional tables and chairs. Even after being told to rent tables and chairs they weren’t sure when they could accept delivery or pickup. Trilok quoted me prices in March that are actually listed in their brochure, but at the end of April I was told I had been misquoted. I was never given a contract in March, so after all the misinformation provided me for 2 months, I wrote my own contract before giving them a deposit and at that point I was given a Trilok contract which contradicted everything we had agreed upon for the past month. Anand (the owner) was part of my efforts to rent the space starting in March, via Maura (student worker), but in April even to Maura’s surprise, he denied having any knowledge of our agreement. I never signed a contract because I was never given a contract. I didn’t even know they had one. Maura apologized and told Anand it was her fault I had not been given a contract. I was under the impression Trilok wanted to service the community but Anand’s response to me was «you never signed a contract» so either agree to the contract just presented to you or find another space. As I stated previously, I met with Maura who was the student working in the office, at least 3 times and we emailed each other on a couple of occasions, however, when questioned by Anand, she stated we had not emailed each other because if so, her emails had been «deleted». Meanwhile my name, event date and time was slotted in their computer. Needless to say I forwarded her a copy of one of the emails, but of course, no response. I realize Anand is the owner and can set his own policies but it’s unfortunate that his policies seem to serve himself, not logic, customer satisfaction or the community. Charging by the hour for setup and cleanup is not what is usually done, especially when the space is large, completely undecorated, unoccupied and no Trilok assistance is guaranteed. In essence I would not recommend renting space from Trilok. They are unorganized, unresponsive, and unaccommodating, There are many places that offer better packages at similar prices and I have been fortunate to find such a place so quickly after wasting two valuable months with Trilock. I suggest you look elsewhere for the service you deserve. You won’t find it at Trilok.
