great music, fun drag shows, cheap drinks but it only gets two stars because the last two times I have been here someone in my group has had something stolen from them. Hold on to your bags and watch your back pockets!

Eh, this place is hit or miss. I like how simple it is. There’s one room and not much else. No different levels, or sections or whatever. You walk in, and you’re there. Drinks are average price on a Saturday night. Something like $ 7/drink. I feel like I was charged incorrectly for the beer/shot special and it got recorded as being 2 different drinks instead of a special, so check your receipts. The drag show can be super annoying. The dialogue is tacky. Mothereffin’, mothereffin’ all over the place. Get a thesaurus. I’ll give it to them for their consistent physical performance. Keeping that up night after night is not easy. The dialogue though, is annoying and unimaginative. Switch it up, gals. Mothereffin’ stop reducing the gay experience to motherffin’ This ‘n That. See what I did there? But really, we deserve better entertainment than some crap lip synching to bad music and high pitched mothereffin’s getting shouted. The coat check can get annoying. $ 2 coats, and $ 3 bags. I found myself stuffing my coat into my bag to save $ 2, when the bag check area was completely empty. You can’t do your patrons a favor and just take my stuff so I can get upstairs to the bar? Is that extra $ 2 really worth slowing me down for? It’s hit or miss if there’s dancing happening. Depends on the vibe and if a show is going on. It’s also much less annoying a place to be than on Christopher Street. Mostly locals will come here. No tourist is venturing out here. That makes it worth it. I’m giving 3 stars just because I appreciate that a gay club exists in this neighborhood of over-hyped straight people bullshit. It’s tentative though as the nickel and diming at the coat check, the average priced drinks, and the tacky drag show kind of drag the place down when it could be really incredible with more specials, and better entertainment.

Another Unilocaler said this place resembles a tunnel — definitely true! I stopped in here late on a Friday after barhopping thru Williamsburg. It’s a bit hazy trying to remember every detail, but the service here was nice. I was just generally underwhelmed with the actual vibe of this place. The lights were great, but the music choice was pretty subpar and my friend and I didn’t really feel like dancing to it. We sat around in the booths and had a few drinks before leaving at the end of the night. I didn’t have a bad time here, I guess I was just expecting more? I did meet a lot of super nice people here tho, so definitely a good crowd.

My favorite straight bar in Brooklyn! So much fun. Ask for the blue Hawaiian it’s the best!

A rowdy, fun BK gay bar bar that is also seemingly reminiscent of a tunnel in its design, which is pretty cool. Chill vibe, friendly bartenders and bargoers Some of the best drag shows in New York, too! Definitely in Brooklyn. Great place to dance, too. Especially if you go near the stage, where there is many a disco ball. Cheapish drinks that are definitely not weak! I recommend for a fun night out in Williamsburg!

Came in to this bar as part of the SantaCon pub crawl this year. Had a couple of drinks with friends but didn’t stay long because time was of the essence. Place had a good vibe I would definitely make an effort to go back sometime soon.

Love this place, ok honestly we walked in not realizing it was a gay bar haha. But hey we had fun! Halloween was awesome seeing everyone dressed up and omg playing those jams! Couldn’t get enough! Love Love love. And the drag show was awesome too. Awesome people.

I love this bar. I overlook the growing ranks of straight girls who frequent the joint. Lately they have been unable to bring in drag queens or get a show going. If they need more $$ they should charge a cover and demand regular performances from the artists. So disappointing.

Came here for a drag show, and it was quite entertaining. It was a bit crowded but nothing too crazy. Drinks were cheap and the crowd was fun. Drag queens, Brooklyn hipsters, some cute gay men and lesbians: D The music was great for dancing, as gay bars usually play the best music for dancing.

I am here with the sole purpose of communicating with the management and recommend that they hire an acoustic consultant. the shape of that room and the placement of those speakers and the levels at which your soundboard is kept makes for an EXTREMELY uncomfortable and frankly, dangerous, experience. I have been here several times and had to leave because there was NO escape from the horrible sound quality, even when the music was good. It’s terrible. Please fix your sound.

Where do I even start??? First of all, gay bars always have the best music. Came here to pregame with a couple friends one Friday night, and couldn’t get over their amazing queue of pop from the 90s and early 2000s. We missed the drag show, but there were plenty of fabulous queens still hanging around by the time we arrived. And did I mention the beer and shot combos? What a deal. Loved their leather lounge couches, too. Great atmosphere, crowd, and energy. Had a few guys come over and start flirting with my date, which is always entertaining. My only complaint was the unisex bathroom, which had two of the four stalls out of service. But, hey, it’s a dive bar; it comes with the territory. Will definitely come back in the future!

Gay bar with not everyone being gay in here. Not too crazy crowded smoke machine disco ball and lights.

Brought my little cousin to enjoy some of the NYC nightlife outside of Manhattan. We tried this place first. We had a pretty good time drinking, cutting up and dancing. Drinks were affordable, the crowd was nice and most importantly the music was lively.

This n’ That is amazing. To quote a friend, «I feel more comfortable here than I do in my own home.» The bartenders are very attentive, and just lovely people! Someone in our group lost her wallet, and the staff worked very hard to make sure she found. The drag shows are pretty great, as well. All in all, I love this place! Edit: I had to update this review after having another wonderful experience last night. One does not typically see a beautiful naked woman covered in chains, a merry band of drug dealers, and a live-sketching artist all in one open environment. The credit card machine was down, but the bartenders were apologetic and quick. Last night was one for the books, and I have TNT to thank for that.

This place is almost always on point for me. The drag shows are great and drinks are worth every penny! I also like that I am served really quickly here and not having to line the bar for hours trying to get a drink. I would always suggest coming after midnight since that’s when it really picks up.

We were there last night and really enjoyed the venue and the music. Good place to go to dance! On the downside — the tattoed girl in the bar was the RUDEST bartender I have ever encountered. I gave her a 6 dollar tip for 5 gin tonics and two shots and she screamed and made a scene that that was insulting. After that she took the twenty I had in my hand and gave me back 8 dollars. So she wanted a 14 dollar tip for a couple of gin tonic. And after that she repeated this with two of my friends when they gave her a dollar a drink tip.

SUCH a friendly bar. I was worried about trying it out because I personally have struggled finding a lesbian friendly gay bar(besides cubby and Henrietta). I was greeted by the sweetest employees at the door– watched an amazing drag show and had strong, well priced drinks. Will definitely be returning!!!

Generally I prefer the other, but This N That was pretty fun. Came here with some friends and enjoyed the music and the crowd. Bartenders were efficient. I’m not one for dancing so I just sort of stayed off to the side with my beer and shuffled awkwardly from foot to foot in a painful«white boy shuffle» kind of way. The inside is actually pretty cool and reminds me of a quonset hut. Really brought back memories of watching«Gomer Pyle, USMC» as a kid. In any event, this is a fun place and nobody made fun of me because I’m old and awkward.

This is a fun dive bar in Brooklyn. They have cheap drinks, fun music and on this occasion a drag show. The show was entertaining, they had a lot of energy and good song choices that they performed. This was my first experience watching this type of performance but it was fun to watch. Over all a fun place if you are looking for a casual environment.

Definitely a perfect addition to the Williamsburg neighborhood. Went for a night cap here and was not disappointed. The first gay bar, that I know of, in this part of town. Not the glitzy pageant queens you are used to seeing, it was a breath of fresh air to see them perform to Bjork’s All is Full of Love and pass out heart shaped cut outs with things like ‘feltching’ written on them as a love note. I hope TNT get’s the love it deserves… But not too much. I’d like to keep it as my own dirty little secret
