The Spot Bar & Lounge

This bar was ok… Empty. Which I guess is good. However, service was not the greatest. My friends and I decided to go in because we wanted to celebrate one of their birthdays. I guess we all look like kids because right off the bat, it looked like they wanted to deny service because we looked young. Which I get, no problem, easy fix… Show ID. After that, the bartender still looked skeptical which made ordering awkward… We also tried to order a hookah and the bartenders started talking amongst themselves. I clearly heard the guy say but the hookah is for 21 and up, the other bartender said that we all were. The guy looked like he was lazy to set up the hookah as if he didn’t want to do it and the girl bartender just made everything a hassle and awkward. It just made getting drinks and hookah a hassle. This place did get the job done. But the drinks and hookah were not the greatest. Will never be coming back to this place again.

It’s really fun place which has lounge and karaōke! The bar lady, Eunjee is pretty and kind~!! I like this place:)) I enjoyed karaōke with my friends!

A nice dive bar in the neighborhood. It’s across the street from a Clean Rite Laundromat so it’s the perfect spot for having a drink while waiting for your clothes in the washer/​dryer. The bar has 2 levels. The lower level has a big screen television which I’m sure is perfect for watching any sports game. On my last visit the bartender was smoking hookah. I don’t know if there is hookah available for patrons or if that was her own personal stash. A DJ was setting up while we were there. The music was a little too loud for the space but he was definitely jammin’. Nonetheless the drinks are good and cheap. Excellent and friendly customer service. The bartender told us that they will soon start serving food which is great. I definitely plan on becoming a regular here especially with summer coming up. Who doesn’t love a good place in the neighborhood for a night cap?!?

THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!. Rode past this on a Friends Birthday looking for something to do Walked in to a friendly bartender. Drinks were cheap $ 5 and $ 10 Big Cups and Sizes too. $ 15 Hooka and a nice calm croud. And After Buying a Hooka and 4 Margaritas the Bar Tender gave us a shot on the house, and our friend a slice of birthday cake. Our total was only $ 40 (At most bars thats 4 small cups of mixed drinks filled with ice) I love it here this might be my new summer time spot.

The Spot is that place you visit for your warm up beverage. Though it’s split level only the upstairs was being used on my visit. I met about 4 other people, three of whom appeared to be staff/​owner there. I would have hated it if I had met ten, it’s that tiny.
The barmaid Mona was delightful. She mixed up a simple order but I’m a strong advocate of not what you do but how. She corrected her mistake with pleasure.
It’s not a spot I’d leave home to go to but The Spot is good if you’re in the area and want to unwind.

We were in the neighborhood for just one night and stopped in because it was near our hotel. The bartender was very friendly and the place had good atmosphere – seemed like a cross between a sports bar and a hipster dive, which works for me. Played a couple games of pool and took advantage of the beer special: modelo with a well whiskey back.

Bar 483 is a great part of Sunset Park. Super friendly bartenders and owner, a great place to go for a drink when you are in the neighborhood. If you live in Sunset Park, you are bound to run into your neighbors.
