Getting an appointment was easy. My daughter had a small rash on her forearm and I was able to bring her in the next day. The PA Artie, was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and made suggestions to help remedy my daughters condition. The staff is courteous and friendly. The office is clean and organized. Parking may be a bit difficult, but hey that’s Bay Ridge.

My daughter had an outbreak of shingles. When I called the Skin Institute PRAYING for an emergency appointment for her, the care and compassion was evident immediately. This is a very busy office but I spoke with Lisa who understood that shingles requires treatment ASAP. Even though my daughter had not been there previously, we were squeezed in. We were seen quickly. Dr Brooks and his assistant were terrific.

I made an appointment with Dr. Saitta to see if I could finally get my acne (which I’ve had for over 10 years and has sadly persisted into my adult life) cleared up, as he is supposed to be a renowned acne expert. As soon as I walked into the room, his assistant (without examining my face) immediately said that they decided to give me the «chemical peel,» which consisted of her putting a chemical on me, which I then had to wash off MY OWN FACE after 30 seconds (after she had already left the room).
Next, Dr. Saitta himself entered and said, again, without looking at me, «For you young lady, I’ve decided to prescribe 2 creams and a pill» and left the room without touching me/​examining my face at all. His tone was incredibly condescending, and he made it very clear he could not care less who I was or why I had come in. I would be surprised if he was in the room for more than a minute total.
I finally got the bill…$ 250 for the visit plus an additional $ 150 for the «peel.» Again, the whole visit was incredibly rushed, lasted for less than 5 minutes, and did not include anyone actually looking at my face. Not to mention the fact that weeks later, my face looks almost identical to how it did when I first walked in. Horrendous. what a racket. I will not be back.

Dr. Taylor is one of the friendlier physicians I have met. Very patient, and has the most comforting answers to the all concerns and questions my husband has. He is such a everything-​phobic, and gets very paranoid when he notices things that are out of the ordinary.
The appointments are always on time. The entrance is located right off the corner on the side of 80^th street so it’s easy to miss!

Updating this review — Dr. Saitta called me with test results (all clear! Yay!) and gave me a moment of his time to talk about a prescription. So, all in all i got what I needed and he was less rushed on the phone.

Dr. Brancaccio is the best doctor I have ever been too. He is very knowledgeable, patient and just a nice man. I have been to him about four times with various aliments and his diagnoses have always been spot on. He even saw me on a minutes notice when I had an emergency, right before he went on vacation. I really can’t recommend him enough!

Dr Saitta is wonderful he helps provide thorough information and options for your skin care. So glad I found this office. Never a long wait and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Sweetest guy who knows his stuff! He was able to identify all my issues immediately and provide answers with treatment seamlessly.
The wait time isn’t too bad here even if the waiting area seems full because there are a bunch of skin experts working at once.
Give your co-​pay after treatment and make your next appointment at the same time… Highly recommend Dr. Saitta!
