Nope. I was, frankly, appalled that there wasn’t more(free) food options. If I’m going to(in theory), pay $ 30 for a ticket to this TINY fair, then I expect to be receiving something for my money. Luckily, I got a groupon, and only paid $ 15+tax for my ticket, otherwise I would have demanded a refund. The IDEA of the festival is fine. Vegan/vegetarian alternatives, and a platform for small, independently owned, mum and pop companies to peddle their new wares with the hopes of snagging a connection/networking. But unless you were one of the first few people to get there, and were given a VIP bag, I don’t know where the money went. You had to purchase EVERYTHING! There were very few samples, and most vendors where(expectedly) selling things far outside my price point. If you’re going to have an event like this, charge a nominal entry fee so I don’t feel cheated, and have a LOT more things that I can purchase. Also, more gluten free options would have been nice, with better labeling or organization of the vendors so I know where to go(diagnosed GF person in our group).
