Lousy service. Placed an order for delivery, they cjarged me and delivered the wrong food. When I called to ask them to send out the right food, they refused quite rudely. And they did not refund the charge. AVOID!

A consistently good diner. I’ve been ordering from here since 2011, and I must have received 100 deliveries from them(I’ve never dined in the restaurant). The food is always good, delivered with appropriate packaging, and on time. It’s my go-to place for quick meals(they ALWAYS deliver within the given delivery time). I’m big on their breakfast, but I like their gyros, too. Of all the places I order from in Brooklyn(and, heh, it’s many), New St. Clair is the most dependable.

When my husband and I moved to Cobble Hill, we already knew this was a solid diner. When my husband started working late hours, it became a go-to for delivery, because it’s one of the only places besides Domino’s that will deliver past 10:30pm in this area. While I swear the prices have been hiked recently, the orders are usually ready fast, and only once in many orders has there been a mistake(delivery guy gave us someone else’s food, but theproblem was solved in less than 20 minutes). Husband usually can’t resist the breakfast-all-day items, while I tend to stick to sandwiches and salad platters. I’ve tried their entrees and all portions are huge! My main complaint about the place is I just don’t see why an order of mozzarella sticks has cost almost $ 10. But, get a burger, get an omelette, get a gyro, you’ll be pretty satisfied.

I like this place. Went there on a recent trip to Brooklyn and could not be happier-menu is HUGE and there is something for everyone many tasty things to choose from so it was hard to pick(especially when everything you see coming out of the kitchen looks so good). I had the buffalo burger-they do it right here and it sure is tasty. Fries also quite good. The place is not fancy, it is clean, quiet, good service and a fine diner. I will be back again when work takes me that direction!

This is great for what it is – basic diner food. I’ve never tried to order anything fancy and I probably never would. They deliver in an instant, and my order has never been wrong. Their food is consistent. Sure, it’s nothing fancy, there’s little ambience, and I wouldn’t try anything beyond basic«diner food,» but if you want some grease late night, this place is perfect.

This place absolutely rules, I cannot wait to come back and have pot roast and Ruebens with coleslaw and pickles, and a cheeseburger, ahhhhh this place is the bomb! Check it out, you won’t be let down.

Every single time I have ordered from this place, without fail, they have completely screwed up my order. One time, I ordered a steak and they brought me a giant hamburger in the shape of a steak. Tonight, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, honey mustard and onion rings and they brought me a sandwich with mozzarella, red peppers and waffle fries. They are horrible. Do not order from them unless you want to be angry once you look in the bag.

Why I love this place — it doesn’t try to be anything but what it is — a great diner with something for everyone. This isn’t fine dining, but it’s good and reliable. Service is friendly and attentive. Most of the waiters and staff seemed Spanish-speaking and super-friendly and hard-working. I got easy refills on my iced tea. I had the chicken salad sandwich. I liked that they didn’t put mayo on the bread — nicely toasted, the chicken salad was really, really good. Quite generous portions. My friend got a panini and she saved the other half for dinner. The place is really clean, food was out fast. We sat in a booth and just chatted after lunch. It was so relaxing. Who knew I’d have to leave Manhattan to have a great, simple, diner experience. When I’m in the neighborhood, will definitely be back. Cards accepted. Also, I think their address is 292 Atlantic, not 29, not sure why that’s listed on Unilocal that way.
