Once a week classes for 2 – 11 year olds. Morning classes for toddlers and after school classes for pre-​k-​5th grade. Summer camp for ages 5 – 11. Two hour birthday parties for ages 3−11year olds, with awesome animals and science experiments! Birthday parties are offered Friday evenings and weekends.

Carmelo the Science Fellow has been teaching children in Brooklyn for the past 15 years. During this time, he has educated thousands of children and he has come to realize the importance and effectiveness of introducing a science-​based curriculum to his students.

We had a birthday party here, and it was great. The staff were organized and professional, and Carmelo’s kid-​entertaining skills are unparalleled. The place has a fairly homegrown aesthetic, but the party was great and all of the kids were rapt for the entire time. The only thing I would change is that the rugs where the kids were sitting were pretty grubby. However, I think it’s because of the experiments that are constantly going on. There was enough space for 20 three– and four-​year-​olds and their parents. The price was also quite fair. The kids found Carmelo hilarious and amazing. I would do a birthday party again there if I could.

This is a super cool place for kids! They have über friendly teachers and very inspired lessons planned for their classes. Every child I have seen spilling out of this place is bounding with energy and excitement to share what they have learned.
Also, who doesn’t love a place that has a waiting room that is decked out in glass cages filled with lizards? This place even has two rabbits that kids can observe. My favorite is the T-​rex head that houses the smoke detector (hilarious). Great for Kids!

Kids love it here! They offer many classes for different age groups. The lobby area houses two bunnies and toys to keep the young ones entertained while the older kids attend classes.
They have another location at 310 Atlantic Avenue, which has a bigger room. I have heard fabulous things about Carmelo. Kids think he’s funny and he seems very likable.
