The Business Card Shoppe

This was my first time ordering at this store (from their online store). Ordered a set of 100 silk finish cards to see what they would be like. Received a set that were out of alignment. Emailed the company and sent some pictures of the misaligned cards. They immediately wrote back and said they will send a new set out. Received the set today, and they are of excellent quality. Excellent print quality, fantastic silk finish and the cards are stiff, which I really like. I’m going to use these guys again.

i had specific requirements and requests for my business cards. the staff listened, provided multiple proofs/​drafts, and produced the perfect card for me and my business. the cards get compliments all the time, and i got my last job by presenting the card to folks who know me but didn’t know what i do for a living.
the price is fair, they deliver on time, and i’m halfway through my second order, so i’ll be going back
the business card shoppe rocks.

I read a pretty crappy review of this place, and figured I’d see if they were as bad as [Ben J. from Unilocal] said… Can’t say I see what the problem is. These were good folks, friendly and professional. The fulfilled my order promptly, and it was precisely what I ordered. What’s more, I was quite impressed with their showroom. Very clean, quiet, and professional, not what one might expect from a Salinas Print Shop. Hey, every business has a bad day from time to time (I certainly do)… But these folks hit the mark for me, and my guess is they will for you, too. Well done guys!

I ordered some business cards from Eddie and they turned out beautiful! We have since ordered more for my boss (who was very envious of mine!) and some of our Foremen as well. When we have had projects come up such as improving our website and creating mailers, Eddie has been the first person I have contacted. Awesome work!

The Business Card Shoppe is working with us to update our website. They have been extremely quick to respond to all emails and have met all their self imposed deadlines on getting proofs to us etc.
When sending images to them they have a file uploader on their website which has made it really easy to send all our pictures at once (took a while to send but it was an extremely large file).
So far the layout has been more than we were expecting. Very original and fits our companies core values and current website goals.

When my husband Shawn and I decided to branch out on our own and begin Bakker Construction, we really didn’t know where to begin. The guys at The Business Card Shoppe were there for us from the get-go…we began with the creative, and they came up with several ideas for our logo. We love our logo, and have gotten many compliments on it since! We’ve gone to them now for business cards (the silk laminate are awesome and very distinctive), all our print marketing, truck magnets, and they designed our website from square one. We go to them often to make changes, add testimonies, links or pictures to our website, and they are on top of it in a timely and professional manner. We have and will continue to refer our friends, family and colleagues to them.

I placed an order with this company. I chose one of the most high end stocks with all the bells an whistles. After working with Phil to design the card, he sent me a «final» proof that had my phone number wrong, and the mirror effect that was on the backside was not actually mirroring the front. After I specifically corrected these mistakes via email which I corresponded with him., I received the cards printed incorrectly. Thanks guys!
I called to make the correction to be faced with accusations that they «only print the last draft sent»… Well how is the customer responsible when corrections are made… AND THE DESIGNER FAILS TO CREATE ANOTHER DRAFT. For the last two days I have been on phone and email having to defend myself from these entitled card trolls.
Instead of acting in a professional manner, and fixing an obvious mistake there company made, they, with poor social tact, force the customer to go at lengths to prove themselves.
After finally convincing them to reprint (which should have been an instant offer), I try to mention one minor change that should be done in the reprint, since might as well get it right the SECOND time. That is when Phil breaks it to me, that I should «go somewhere else».
All the time wasted going back and forth between the designer, dealing with inconsistencies, and poor customer service.
You’re better off writing your number down for a client, then working with these children to get a card made.
