We utilize the expertise of a McKenzie Diplomaed Physical Therapist, a board certified integrative and Functional Medicine Physician, and a Registered Kinesiotherapist to correct your movement deficiencies and underlying deficiencies to reach your goals fast.

Our expert staff utilizes the McKenzie Method, Krav Maga training, Functional Movement Screen, Kinesio Taping and other certified and advanced skills in designing a scientifically proven fitness, nutrition and coaching program for people who just want to feel and look great, or who want to reverse the effects of injury or disease. By looking at our active clients, you’d never guess they once had injuries or medical issues. Nothing is more important to us than achieving your goals of fitness and feeling great.

Our highly trained team of Physical Therapists, Registered Kinesiotherapists, and Exercise Specialists came together to help you achieve and maintain an exceptional quality of life while preventing injuries in a way no other provider of fitness can. Unlike other gyms, we offer fitness programs that are tailored to your goals, making past injuries irrelevant. In order to maintain a safe and purposeful experience, our medical team assesses scientific metrics and applies them to your fitness. We merge medical knowledge with fitness. We hope to make medical problems non existent so you can enjoy the goodness of your life.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark A.

Business Owner

Dr. Mark Amir is a licensed physical therapist and the owner of The Brooklyn M.O.G. He is the only Mckenzie Method Diplomat in Brooklyn. He specializes in exercise based therapy and taking a holistic, big picture view of the person in his care. Mark is coauthor of the book «Why Does My Back Hurt So Much» and has helped multiple companies implement fitness and ergonomics programs. Mark is an adjunct Professor of Physical Therapy and is a policy consultant for the American Physical Therapy Association. He is LSVT and FMS certified, a Krav Maga instructor, a past high school football coach and has run in several NYC marathons.
