I loved the service! The swim instructors are pleasant and so far all the staff we’ve encountered.
Only complaint, because of course, there is one, while not in your control is the locker room situation. Oh how I wish there was more space, lockers and baby changing station. I girl can dream. Thank you for your service. ”

I went there based on the positive reviews. The only positive thing I can say is that the instructor was very friendly. When I arrived, security lady at the front desk asked me to leave my stroller on the sidewalk outside of the school. My stroller is not cheap plus I had some food shoppings that I didn’t feel comfortable to leave out there. The lockers don’t have locks so any valuables left while you in the pool can be easily stolen. The pool was full of people and laud, the strong smell of Clorox makes you wanna leave. The water was too cold for my 6 month old. At the end of the class he was shivering and his lips were purple. Since I had to leave the stroller outside I had no way to change my wet suit, I had to ask someone to hold my child so that I can change. For $ 30 they should accommodate you with more than that. It’s a definite no no for one person with a young child. Maybe for older.

Take me to the water is a great program for toddlers (my daughter was 3 when she started). Our instructor Eric was awesome and had great skills and patience with our daughter. My husband and I also took classes and we benefited greatly from the lessons, now we are avid swimmers. The price may seem a little high, but overall worth the lesson and experience. The administrators are also great, we had some challenges with the venue in Park Slope, but we were refunded for the class if there were any difficulties with the venue (cold water, no instructor, etc.). If you are looking to learn how to swim or just improve, this is the right company to help.

The staff and swim instructors are great! They are awesome with children of all ages. The small groups really help my child get comfortable with the water and progress. She has taken 3 sessions and will continue to perfect her technique. She can swim freestyle, back stroke, dive from the deep end.
The only concern I had was that sometimes the pool had heating issues and class was cancelled. They made sure to let us know we can schedule for make up classes for the missed lessons.

Great value. Great locations. Great instructors. My son took swim lessons at the «Y» for years and could drown in a bathtub. After a few lessons at TMTTW he now swims like a fish. You cannot get him out of the water. Thanks!
