Came here on ¹²⁄₂₄ after reading mostly 4 star reviews. I had high hopes for this place, but it was a total disappoint. Booked for a 5:30pm massage. Arrived on time but were told that they were busy and we had to wait at least 20 mins unless we start with one person first. Hello… There’s a reason why we booked couple massage so that 2 ppl can massage together at the same time.
Place is pretty big for it location. The couple room we had was small, barely fit 2 beds. Noise level was pretty loud but kind of expected from reading the reviews. When the massage finally started, that’s when the masseuses totally killed my excitement for this place. The two ladies were young, not much experience from the way they massage. The one I had was so lazy. All she did was rubbing and elbowing my back, touched my legs a little, for the whole hour. She kept chatting with my bf’s masseuse about what they got for Christmas and if that lady is being proposed. They got so excited, the other lady from next door joined the conversation yelling over the thin wall. I said nicely that we prefer the room to be more quiet. She said ok. Which lasted 10 min and the chatting started again. But wait that’s not the worst, she left the door open the entire time when I was butt naked laying directly in front of the door. Really!!! I gave up.
When you think this is the end, it’s not! The young lady who massaged my BF said in her language to my masseuse that my BF upper leg skin is baby soft, prob thinking we don’t understand? My masseuse replied guys are softer because they wear pants not like girls wear skirt. Wow. Thanks for the compliment. My BF had no idea this happen until I told him after we left. What an experience, will not return!!!

Total Scam!!! Went here for a foot massage and because they don’t understand English that well they were pushing harder everytime I asked to go a little lighter! Worse massage!
PLUS it’s «mandatory» for a minimum of $ 10 tip!!! I don’t mind tipping if the massage was even ok but it was horrible! I would not come back after this.

This was probably the best massage of my life AND it was only $ 35. My masseuse led me into a small private room and left while I changed into a kinda tube dress they provided. When she came back I explained I had two broken vertebrae in my lower back. She said «so no walking» and pointed up. On the ceiling were bars be they straight up WALK ON YOUR BACK at this place. I was like uumm no thanks. But even without the walking my massause (her name was Ami) did an AMAZING job. She clearly clearly knew what she was doing. She got out all the kinks in my legs, upper back, neck, and hips. She even did light adjustments in my lower back that were better than my chiropractor. If you are in need of a serious and seriously cheap massage this is the place. And I tipped $ 16 which I felt was not enough for what she did. I owe her. Definitely going back.

Wow he worked the knots out of my very sore left shoulder.
$ 20 for half hour nonstop working the pain out yes intense but that’s what I need and will keep needing when I go back

I’m not much of writing reviews but when I write one it has to be excellent I have been there multiple times and every time I leave a better and focused person this place is awesome the staff are excellent very well experienced in giving message therapy this place is no joke not like all the garbage places out there this place is for real this place services both men and women and totally the best, I thank my therapist Candy and and my other therapist BO, you guys are the best keep up the good work.

Mandatory $ 10 tips??? If it’s mentioned when you ask them for the price or if they put a sign in the store then it would be okay but tells you at the end when you are ready to pay… that’s just cheating your customer.

Came here twice with my boyfriend for a full body massage 1hr… It’s definitely hardcore to the bone massaging. But it relieves all the tension in your body. The masseuse does a lot of crazy techniques some of them too painful to bare but you just hold in there because it’s worth it in the end when she looses the knots in your muscles. It is a little nosy but I don’t mind, I would definitely recommend here if you have a lot of tension and need a good massage.

Really good foot massage. If you get a foot massage they also do a back massage too. Very good $ 25 spend.

I went here on a lazy Sunday to get a few aches and pain relieved from my back. I went for the upper back/​feet massage option for $ 28. Now let me start off by saying this is NOT a day spa nor one of those typical fancy beauty salons. It’s pretty much bare bones.
I was sent to a room full of seats and ottomans lined up against the wall, closely positioned next to one another. They will bring out a small wooden tub filled with hot water to soak your feet in while receiving the back massage. There was alot of talking and banter amongst the workers which makes for a noisy environment but it didn’t bother me.
The upper back massage is REAL aggressive but you can always tell the masseuse to ease up. The foot massage was absolutely heavenly! It relieved tension throughout my entire body leaving me relaxed and rejuvenated! Well worth it! You will be asked to tip your masseuse and you will pay for the massage at the front desk when things are all said and done. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a hardcore simple barebones massage.

WHOA WHOA. This isn’t just any massage… you need to know what you’re getting yourself into before coming here… This is a strong, hard, relentless massage not meant for the weak. This is the place where you go to get all the knots kneaded out of you. Whether it’s rubbing or stepping on you or cracking your joints, you will definitely feel this.
It’s nice to only be $ 35 dollars for the entire hour but know that you should really be giving them a $ 10+ tip for that time. Still pretty cheap for a massage but once again, it’s not just your any ordinary spa.

Needed a place to relieve the knots on my shoulders and to relieve sciatica that suddenly developed. I stumbled upon tai shuong and decided to give it a try. This review is for ms. Wong (I think that’s her name)
Pros
— the lady who gave me the massage was incredibly meticulous and talented.
–I told her about my trouble areas and she put a lot of emphasis on it.
–she was attentive and asked if what she did was painful or okay.
–she incorporated a Thai massage where she was stepping on my back. I am honestly quite fascinated– by this as I’ve never had it before.
–she performed some chiropractic work on my back so my lumbar/​sacral spine area popped to relieve pressure
–added pressure on the right places to reduce sciatic pain and numbness.
–did a variety of techniques that opened up my hips
–very professional and definitely knows what she’s doing.
Cons
–there was way too much talking outside. I could hear men and women speaking loudly and even a baby crying. I noticed the rooms were separated by walls that don’t meet the ceiling so you can hear everything in the hallways and the room next to you. Very unpleasant.
–the door to my room had a window that was covered by a thin and see through chiffon. As I was undressed during the massage, there were some arms techniques used that I was sure, I was exposed. I didn’t appreciate how there were men’s voices right outside my door.

I was so stressed & had a lot of tension on my neck & shoulders & I found this resort on Unilocal.I thought the price was great so I decided to give it a try. $ 35. for 1 hour full body, ok let’s try! I got there & was immediately helped & taken to a room. It was very dimly lit which I though great considering that I had a blinding migraine headache. The young lady came in after I changed into a massage top & she surely massaged out all the tension I had on my shoulders. It was a bit painful but she asked my if it was too painful & she’d massage me softer. Needless to say my hour was up & I left feeling better without a headache & I was not feeling the tension on my shoulders anymore. I will definitely be returning, the price & the massage was exactly what I needed. Thank you Tai Shuang Spring Resort.

I’ve been here ten times or so and generally had a good experience. Some massages are great, some hurt a bit, some are mediocre. This most recent massage was one of the later. The masseuse was talking incessantly to the masseuse in the next room over the wall. It was to the extent that she was not focused on the massage. It was a lazy massage.
The massages here cost $ 35 for an hour. I’ve normally tipped $ 10. I’ve tipped anywhere from $ 7 to $ 12 with no blow up. This time I tipped $ 6. That’s when things got weird.
I went to go pay at the front desk and the masseuse was already screaming in Chinese. The front desk girl asked me if I tipped. I said I left it on the counter in the massage room. The masseuse comes back with my $ 6 and she’s livid, shaking the $ 6 at me. She says «you said you’ve been here before.» Then the girl at the front explains a tip is supposed to be $ 10. Now I’m having to defend my $ 6 tip for this subpar massage. I’m also explaining to them how tipping works, that it’s the customer’s discretion based on quality of service. Furthermore, it says nowhere that there is a mandatory $ 10 tip. The girl at the front desk explained that you «just have to know» a tip is $ 10. This was the fight they picked in front of several waiting customers.
I gave her another $ 5. You’ve been warned.

So freaking relaxing. Oh man, my feet feel so light. The masseuse the older lady was good, I was surprised by her skills, she sure knows how to crack your back. The way she loosened up my back, oh, man so relaxing. Not bad for a full hour for only $ 28/hour.Yes folks, I ain’t never told no lie, you read it correctly $ 28 an hour. This does not include gratuity. So don’t be stingy. Sit back, soak your feet and relax. Parking is a bitch, I had to stop my massage, to print a parking paper. Use public transportation, it will make the experience even more relaxing.

This place is pretty… GREAT. The price cant be beat for 35 bucks an hour for a full body massage. When you see the monkey bars above the massage table, you know its about to go down… because she walks on your back. Money well spent!

Love this place. They’ve renovated the place so there’s no more curtains between the massage tables. Little rooms now. This is a great place I’ve been going to for a couple of years. I try to get the lady I like for full body and the older man for my foot/​back soak massage. Sometimes they are not there when I want. The couple that owns the place are nice, even though only the wife is English-​fluent. She is sweet. yes, it can get noisy with the chattering of the workers, but I’ve never had a really bad massage. Some are better than others. Must tip… at least $ 10. I often give more (depending on my $$ status). They work hard and deserve it. I don’t have the budget for super-​duper spa conditions and this place is clean. I bring my own organic massage oil with me. They have massage cream, but mostly they use baby oil.

I had a hour massage there about a month ago, it was the 2^nd best I have ever got and I paid over $ 100 for 30 minutes here it was $ 35 for an hour. Just came back from my 2^nd massage and the experience was great. For $ 35 get one hour massage and they offer a free hair cut with it. This place I hope doesn’t go viral and the price goes threw the roof. Make sure you check it out and the girls kinda expect a $ 10 tip, but it’s a bargain!

We walked in and got $ 35 1 hour massages. It is cheap and no frills but the girls knew what they were doing. The walls are pull down shades and the therapists chatted back in forth in Chinese the entire time, but their hands knees elbows feet were busy unlocking every knot in my back. I would have liked a little more time on my legs and feet, but I guess that’s what the leg massage is for. Be warned: they will hound you for a tip of at least $ 10

This is not a resort… This is not for frills… This is not for funny business. This is where you go to get a good cheap HARD massage. I’m interested in knowing what I’m going to feel like tomorrow because man did they get in there. Thanks to all the other Unilocalers for the tip warning. Even after a $ 10 tip, the value at this place can’t be beat.

Even though they steadily keep increasing the prices, it’s still cheap at $ 35 for a 1 hour full body massage. Although, I’ve noticed they inconsistently tack on around a $ 10 minimum tip.
I’ve had a few different experiences here with the full body massage ranging from silent to chatty Cathy talking to her friend next door while giving you a massage. It all depends on the masseuse. The massages are relaxing or effectively painful – depending on the state of your body.
Also, if you’re hyper vigilant about exposing yourself and/​or privacy, this may not be the place for you. There are pull down shades and curtains, but you could flash people if they really wanted a look…
