Sunday Brunch

Huge. HUGE fan of this shop. All I do is go onto their site and drool.
I have over 30+ dresses and I want MORE when I want to go shopping. It’s my favourite thing to wear.
Judy is incredibly professional, sweet, friendly and prompt. I think she makes the store as fabulous as it is.
I will say that the prices are not in the realm of ‘every day dress shopping’. It is a place you go when you want to find a very special dress, unique, handmade, handpicked and you just GASP when you see the pictures online.
I’d love to see belts in her shop however, I feel as though she’d kill it :)

Judy, the genius behind Sunday Brunch, is nothing short of wonderful. I was in NYC for the weekend and was without an *acceptable* dress for the night. I came across Sunday Brunch’s online shop and my search was over; there were cute dresses EVERYWHERE! I immediately took off in search of Sunday Brunch and its über cute dresses. Upon arriving, I was devastated to learn that it was closed. However, I HAD NOTHING TO WEAR! So I called Judy to ask if she could somehow, out of the goodness of her heart, help me out. In other words, I called her for a miracle. Guess what? Judy did not disappoint; she said she’ll open up shop and help me find my dress!!!
Sunday Brunch dresses are unique, top quality and ultra cute! Each dress is hand-​picked by Judy, a fashionista-​extraordinaire! She helped me select dresses that fit my body type/​size; hiding the parts I wanted to hide =). I felt like she was one of my girls; someone whose closet I’d raid when I couldn’t find anything to wear. She is fabulous! By the time I left (and I was there for a while), I came away with three amazing dresses!
Thanks, Judy! I’ll be back the next time I’m in NYC. And please, open up a store in DC!

I HATE shopping for dresses. So when I needed to buy my wedding dress, for a non-​traditional wedding, I put off the task until a month before the big day. I looked in about 20 stores, became weary, and then searched Unilocal and found
. The owner, Judy, let me try on dresses in her apartment since I live in NYC where her business is. Judy is gracious and has great style. I left with a wedding dress after trying on lots of beautiful dresses unlike what you’ll find in a typical store. Thank you Judy!

I had a fabulous, personalized (rare these days!) shopping experience with Sunday Brunch Dress. Because of this, I feel so connected and happy about my purchase. Since I was buying the dress from out of town, I emailed Judy to talk about and arrange a time to try the dresses on and she was so on top of it! Prompt, personable and just like a great girlfriend!
Perfect store for those who are on the perpetual hunt for dresses (who isn’t!) and is looking for unique, fabulous dresses for all occasions!

Alright, so there were so many totally amazing dresses on this site that I COULD NOT pick which one I wanted (and I mean, I could only get one, what with me being broke as a joke and all)… so i wrote an e-​mail and Judy (the amazing owner) got right back to me and had a really great and informed discussion about which dress would be best for my body, my budget, and my upcoming slew of friend’s weddings… It’s like this place was made for me, and I can’t wait for «Summer 2009: the summer of the green Lorick Dress».

um, best store ever. i will blow all my student loans on these dresses. c’mon — look at that blue one with the ruffles. who needs to eat sunday brunch when you can wear it?
