Sterling Electronics

I went pot shopping today. Sterling Electronics was one of the stores I went inside of to look at pots. It wasn’t the store I bought a pot at. Of all the stores I looked at in Crown Heights for pots I must say they were the most expensive. And their sellsman seemed to want to just BS me more than anything else just to get me to buy the item. He really tried to pressure me into buying the pot and even started ringing it up before I agreed to buy it. He kept on acting like I was going to purchase it even though I really had no intention to. I think he thought if he told me enough times that I wanted it then I would. I hate sales people like that. Thank God at the other stores the sales people were more straightforward about what was good quality and what was lower quality. No need to misrepresent a product and then have a dissatisfied customer in the end.

I walked in here and surprisingly I found a wider range of products than I would have assumed. The great thing about walking into a local store is the customer service. They actually care to help.

Sterling Electronics is a very pleasant mom and pop shop — selling electronic and appliances in the heart of Crown Heights, in Brooklyn.
Located along busy Kingston Avenue, I frequent the shop often; which has an intimate feel, but a rather large variety of products to choose from.
I walked into the store just the other day to pick up a George Foreman grilling machine, and was greeted with a smiling face from the young gentleman behind the counter. At my request, I was then assisted with my purchase from beginning to end.
The service was unlike what you’d find in big-​box stores like Wal-​Mart and Target. At this little shop, I had a smiling human (yes, Human) assist me with my needs throughout my visit.
We need more stores with heart. Stores like Sterling are what make neighborhoods unique. Stores where you get to know the guy behind the counter as a friend.
I will definitely be returning to Sterling Electronics in the future.
