It’s just coffee for goodness sakes. And, I’ve never liked their coffee much(it’s too weak but it hits the spot in a jam). Not particularly friendly at all but the interior is nice, I presume. Big problem is that they insist on not wearing gloves while sealing the lids on the tops of coffee. I asked for a new lid and I got a look like I was the devil. It’s really unsanitary to drink after after they’ve handled money. Last time I was in there, they did the same but I threw the lid off and asked for another one. Put simply, emergency only for coffee but there are 10 other joints nearby so get with it Starbucks.

Wow, Starbucks might not be known for their incredible coffee but they’ve in my experience had customer service down pat. I walked into this Starbucks expecting the excellent level of service I’ve become accustomed to especially seeing that this is a reserve & evening store. Upon approaching the counter I was served by a partner named Jackson, they seemed less than interested in taking my order or helping me at all for that matter. When I asked for ice water after ordering my espresso he rolled his eyes & said a snarky remark about sizing. I ordered the East Timor peaberry, it was ok although after asking for it in a ceramic it still was served to me in a paper cup finished with the delicious papery taste everyone loves(not). All in all east 7th Starbucks should really go over some basic customer service training & create better experiences for all that walk in. May return if these items are addressed otherwise it’s unlikely. — An experienced barista competitor & Hospitality consultant

This is the best Starbucks I have been too. They’ve put a lot of thought into the layout and definitely know that Blue Bottle and that horrendous mid-western hotel lobby Devocion(that everyone goes to for some reason) are close by. They have great big communal tables, perfect lighting, and premium climate control. The bits on sale are premium too: a $ 150 hand grinder, the kettles they use with a straight face at Blue Bottle, a Chemex and even an electric coffee scale(you know, in case you get a few beans too. many in your premium individual filter that goes with your Japanese kettle). The display of vintage Bialetti is dope. I fell for it and bought some premium beans. They’re good but with that distinct burnt flavor that makes Starbucks Starbucks. The only coffee I like like really like is like the cold brew. The rest is good-enough. It’s the décor that gets me here. I think they know it’s a few more years till the Choc-Chip Frappucino Extra Whip bros hit critical mass here. So yeah. This shop is the bridge. Tidings of better things still to come.

I usually don’t write a review. But I had to. This place is terrible. Ordered a hot coffee didn’t know I was getting a cold coffee. Asked the guy if he can microwave it. Guy gave answer«sorry we don’t have, sorry bye«. Guy not putting common sense together thinking maybe the coffee is not hot. Guy brushed me off and basically like too bad. Should’ve went to dunkin donuts Next door.

Complaint about Starbucks Location: 154 N 7th St Brooklyn, NY11249. I have never been forced to place an order while waiting on the line for the restroom. Yesterday while waiting on line for the restroom a twerpy barista told me I had to place an order since the restroom was for customers only. I told him I would order once I finished with the restroom and could look at a menu. He was extremely inistent and rude and to get rid of him I place an order. i have been going to Starbucks for years in many locations and have never experienced this. This is HIGHLY unprofessional and tacky.

I have never had an interaction like this before… And it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I, like every other New Yorker, am a frequent Starbucks customer. But when my boyfriend and I were on the bathroom line of this Starbucks location, we were interrogated by an employee asking us what we wanted to buy and that the bathroom was for customers only. I wouldn’t have minded because we were going to get a drink afterwards… But the bathroom line was long so we decided we were going to the bathroom first. The only thing was, when they asked us on the bathroom line what to order… we were no where near the front of the line or the back of the line! We were in the middle of the bathroom line and were asked for our order. That really made me wonder what drove them to come to me first… Was it racial discrimination? There were around 4 people in front of me and 6 people behind me but they chose to come to me first? The man in front of me scoffed and have a disgruntled chuckle when the barista try to aggressively place my order and said, «Well, that would do it!» Everyone was very upset on the line and were treated like we were there to free load off the bathroom. After being adamantly coerced to buying at drink ATTHATTIME and on that line in front of everyone(like we were criminal for daring to use the bathroom without the intentions of buying a drink — although that wasn’t even the case here) we ordered the drinks. However we will never be stepping into this Starbucks establishment again. I just wanted the Unilocal community to know just exactly how this Starbucks treats their current(and potential) customers — like thieves. Just to note: My family owns a restaurant and they always had the«bathroom is for customers only» sign on their establishment but whenever people always come in and asked for the restroom, they were always welcomed to use it. When I was a kid, I asked my uncle why he would do that when they aren’t customers and he told me, «They might not be customers now, but they could be customers in the future.» This Starbucks definitely missed that point.

I came to this location after a long day in Williamsburg to sit down, relax and enjoy nice iced beverage. My girlfriend needed to use the resteroom, so we decided to wait in line to use the bathroom. We were in the middle of the line when a batista targeted us and asked us to order and pay for a drink. I looked kind of shocked as to why he targeted us and Noone else since we were in the middle of the line. Anyways, I was caught off guard and kindly said ‘we are getting a drink but using the bathroom first’. He said snarkly how Starbucks only offers bathrooms to paying customers only. At this point I’m offended on why were we targeted at all and had a confused look on my face. I mean, when I’m ready to order I’ll kindly order. Starbucks is all about customer service and good experiences. This was offensive and poor. As a shareholder, I expected better. Being forced to pay for a drink with no menu in front of me and saying how I can’t use the bathroom until I do so is insane. I’m still confused over this interaction.

Normal Starbucks menu + a «reservation bar» and day-to-day coffee tastings that I doubt will continue too long. What actually makes this area stand out is its enormous size as well as wealth of seats and stoppers. At the moment, it is easily the most effective coffee shop to work at in Williamsburg.

Great service and they also have wine here. The batista here are so nice. The bathroom here is also very sanitary. My absolute favorite drink here is the green tea lemonade. They have the peach flavor one which was great as well.

Great service, clean bathrooms, and plenty of space. Pretty standard for a Sbucks. Grateful since I sought it out specifically to find a clean bathroom!

I go to Starbucks everyday. I’m not proud of it, but they’ve put my regular coffee shops out of business. I pay more than I should and they give me a beverage made to my specifications and a bathroom where I can pee when I need to. Today I bought a beverage at this Starbucks like I’ve done at many other Starbucks locations for the last 20 years and the barista gave it to another man. When I asked for my beverage, I was told to chase down the man and fetch it from him. I refused. The barista proceeded to castigate me for wasting $ 4 worth of espresso and after some coercion finally made me my beverage. I thought about ending my 20 year relationship with Starbucks, but I’ve decided against it. You won’t get any more of my money(you giant, evil, green monster), but I’ll keep giving you my pee. You deserve it.

Normally I don’t post about chain stores or restaurants or the such because they have a standard that they have to keep too. I understand that stores vary slightly but on average they balance out and am never over satisfied or under satisfied. However, this one is the exception. I came in early in the morn to grab one of my favorite seasonal drinks the pumpkin spice latte. It’s definitely worth it’s weight in gold. Anyway given its popular drink many people prior to me and after me ordered it. So anyway I order my drink and then wait in the cue patently waiting as I watched the barista make drink after drink. After a good 30 minutes and seeing that the crowd had changed I asked the barista where my drink had gone.(In the meantime on the table in front of her sat 5 unclaimed drinks.) Apparently they had forgotten and instead of making me a drink they grabbed one of the unclaimed and handed it to me. I later found out that the cashier has trouble understanding some people’s names and just writes any name down. How hard is it to get Jon wrong. Never again at this Starbucks. And to think I was excited to go the wine nights they had.

Very large Starbucks, plenty of seating, a bit crowded on Saturday but noise volume relatively mild. This Starbucks sells drinks made from it’s reserve coffees. In the evenings they sell prosecco and small plates of snacks(truffle meatballs, flatbreads, bacon wrapped dates etc.) There’s a few interesting features — beautifully painted mermaid on the wall, art installation piece of magnetized round shapes. The place looks a bit like a nice renovated warehouse. I wouldn’t mind stopping by when I’m in Williamsburg.

Probably the best Starbucks in NYC. Okay, I’m a little biased because I live pretty much down the street. But really, this Starbucks has(almost) literally saved my life over the past few days. It’s been hotter and wetter than Satan’s asscrack these days and my apartment didn’t have an AC unit until today. As a result, I was basically evicted from my sauna of a bedroom and found refuge at this Starbucks. The look and layout of this Starbucks is really quite impressive. It has a pretty expansive seating area with really long tables to do work and collaborate with other people on. The baristas are always friendly(at least the ones I’ve spoken to) and the bathrooms are actually pretty clean! Now I know there’s a Toby’s and a Blue Bottle Coffee and a plethora of other amazing coffee places nearby, but if you’re in the area and are looking for a quick drink or sit down in a good olé, non-assuming Starbucks, you’ll find yourself a winner at this one.

I came in here after Blue Bottle because Blue Bottle sucked and didn’t have a bathroom. Had I known they would be mean about it I wouldn’t have com here. I brought the iced tea I hadn’t finished and ordered food here. The person who checked me out didn’t say anything. Then, while I was sitting at a table, an employee came by to interrogate me. He made a big deal of me having a cup with the Blue Bottle logo on it. The logo was small and insignificant. He brought me out a new Starbucks iced tea. Cool right? But when he gave it to me he lectured me about how he was«mad» that I had a competitor’s cup. I was confused and annoyed with the whole process. They need to either chill out regarding outside cups, or be less rude about replacing them.

Lots of seating, lots of outlets, free wifi, music not too loud — good background music for working. Same pastries and offerings as any other Starbucks but décor is a lot hipper than any other Starbucks I’ve ever been in.

Hands down the best Starbucks that I have ever stepped foot inside! I will say that when I live in Willaimsburg I was dead against this kind of corporate business polluting the hip/cool hood. Truth is the hood HAS changed a lot. This Starbucks fits in well now. The interior design is so cool with an abundance of space and seating. The long wood communal tables are fabulous. There are tons of power outlets for your laptops to your smartphones. The staff are friendly in their uniforms of plaid and chambray shirts. The murals are also pretty cool! The offerings are pretty much the same as all the other Srarbucks, but for some reason this one seems like a premium location.

Wow I have to say that the Starbucks is really a statically pleasing. The staff here was very nice the building itself is really modern and clean. I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks to begin with because I drink tea and the Starbucks tea is a bit too strong for me. I would come back to the Starbucks because it seemed more like a sitdown coffee shop then a grab and go. I think that this Starbucks would be a great place just to meet up with people. Or sit down with your computers if you writing a blog. It’s a big locations so there’s actually a lot of seats and tables available. I did notice a lot of people weren’t taking their coffee to go they were kind of sitting down almost like a traditional coffee shop. Overall this is a great Starbucks to come to if you’re meeting friends or want to sit down and get a coffee shop style feel. I do recommend getting coffee or tea here because it’s so aesthetically pleasing

Boy do I hate myself for writing this… I was pretty outspoken that a Starbucks on N. 7th between Bedford and Berry was the equivalent of the end of Williamsburg as we know it. But then it dawned on me that there hasn’t been real, authentic culture in Williamsburg for the better part of seven years… so what’s a monolith like Starbucks moving to the ‘hood going to do to change the gritty image of this cultural epicenter? Not much — 11211 is basically a giant Cheesecake Factory at this point anyway. So that said, I’ve weighted this Starbucks on an appropriate level and it’s actually a decent addition to the area. I imagine the Brain Trust at Starbucks HQ tried to «Brooklynize» this particular location with an open, minimalist, and warehouse-y vibe complete with polished concrete floors, exposed wooden beams, and a communal sink in between two bathrooms because that’s apparently how people in Williamsburg like to wash their hands according to a bunch of suits in Seattle. The space is actually quite visually appealing and it looks nothing like any other franchise I’ve stepped foot in previously. Small things like the layout of their pastries and sandwiches are much different than other locations and there’s heavy emphasis on using«hip» writing utensils like chalk to let you know how much a bacon, egg, and Gouda sandwich will set you back. Because as you know, chalk is the exclusive art medium of wealthy creatives in the watered down, luxury product that is Williamsburg in the mid 2010s. Like most Starbucks, you can’t deny their customer service is on point so you pretty much know what you’re going to get every time you visit and it’s no different here. Burnt tasting coffee served by a peppy millennial who won’t stare through your soul if you try paying for your $ 2 coffee with a credit card. Smatter in the usual juices, snacks, and Ethos bottled waters available worldwide and you’ve got the standard Starbucks romp… just with way more Edison bulbs and a «Williamsburg vibe» that I’m sure a bunch of wealthy executives are quite proud of creating. The end.
