If you can’t ease into a conversation with the weekend barista here, something is wrong with your personality. If you can’t enjoy a cup of the Stumptown Coffee that he just whipped up for you, something is wrong with your taste-​buds. For real.

In a borough that is over saturated with hyped coffee joints, Stand and Deliver does just what it promises. Not shocking, considering that they are an outpost of Crown Heights’ coffee shop, Sit & Wonder, which I discovered this past December and loved. S&D is the perfect grab and go after sharing friendly words with the friendly barista who prepares your cup with style (love the way they brew the hot coffee individually right there in front of you).
Stumptown is all the rage in Brooklyn these days, but not every coffee shop is equal in how they treat it. Here again, these folks… stand & deliver (damn, that name is good!) This unassuming, utterly charming little cart offers up a perfect cup of coffee (I had mine iced). Expect to find them outside the Brooklyn Flea on weekends. Not sure if they roam around the neighborhood on other days, but it’s good to know that I don’t have to (travel out to Crown Heights to) Sit & Wonder («where can I get Stumptown?!») Heh.
