I went here on Easter and was surprised that only about 20 people showed up. It looks like they’re doing construction out front, but they are indeed open and the inside is pretty. It’s an old church with a mixed bag of attendees. The choir is good. The young preacher? Reverend? Pastor? (Sorry. Episcopalian is not my normal denomination) had a great message.

I grew up going to this church… attended Sunday School. participated in plays and also the choir. I was even baptized at this church. The people here are cool for the most part. I never had any issues or drama while here so… I havent attended in a few long years… hopefully I get back there!

My fiancée and I just started attending this church two weeks ago because we’re going to be married here in August, and we love it. Everyone is extremely warm and welcoming, and they’ve already made us feel like part of a big family. The choir at St. Luke and St. Matthew is excellent as well.
I was especially impressed when the Father who will marry us told us that he disagrees with the traditional practice of the father of the bride «giving» her to the groom, as though she were a piece of property. I couldn’t agree with him more, and it made me feel, as my fiancée had said previously, like this church had chosen us instead of the other way around.
