I stopped by this Store at random after purchasing a book from Spoonbill and Sugartown. I go through periods of dry skin and their products have really helped. The Charcoal Soap smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling properly moisturized. All of their products with the morning rose smell are fantastic. The products are also well designed shelf candy. The bubble bath looks like a champagne bottle. The salesgirls know the products well and can recommend soaps and bath salts from their «salt bar» for a variety of skin types and conditions. I also tend to like supporting local small businesses run by Brooklynites.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Their Dead Sea Salt Scrub and Lotion are heavenly; my skin has never felt this great. Their soaps smell incredible and are waaaay more moisturizing that any other soap I’ve ever used. The staff is super nice and highly informed (not one question goes unanswered). Their super detailed labels are no joke; I love knowing exactly what’s going on my skin. Best part of their products? They’re handmade in Brooklyn (support local shops)!
I can’t say enough great things about this place– you’ll have to go check it out for yourself!

I love this store in Williamsburg! I always come here to buy soaps, candles and my favorite one: the body scrub and body lotion set! Good price, excellent quality and perfect to keep your skin nourish and moisturized.

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT REALLY WORKS! Ive battled eczema my entire life so I’m very weary when it comes to trying new skincare products because even when companies claim they’re natural they’re not.
But at Soap Cherie almost everything is handmade in Brooklyn –I love the fact that it’s a local business– the store smells like heaven and the customer service was fantastic! The girl who helped me out was so friendly and fun. I really appreciate the time she took to explain all the products and she even gave me a free hand scrub treatment after a long day at work. I COULD STAY HERE ALL DAY!
Now getting to the products: Their scrubs are simply amazing. They all smell great and subtle and it helps maintain my eczema. I got the Morning Rose Scrub and Lotion –she showed me that the scent was featured in Oprah’s magazine!- and it came with a free soap, so I got the Oatmeal milk and honey and loved it! Now I’m just waiting to try my Mud bar next and all the cute samples that she gave me too. Can’t wait to come back here and try their bath bombs and massage oil candles!

So glad I stumbled upon this little boutique soap and candle shop during my random stroll in Williamsburg! I am a big fan of Lush but only purchase as a treat for myself, and I would say price-​wise, Soap Cherie is pretty similar to Lush, but most of their products are handmade by the owners. I actually walked in to look around and was offered a free soap sample NSA, and ended up deciding to buy a couple gifts here. I got a candle for a friend, and then decided I needed to purchase a candle for myself. They have pretty unique candles — if you’re a fan, definitely encourage you to check Soap Cherie out!

This place is very nice. The soaps are amazing. I tried the scrub there on my hands and hands never felt so soft. I got the shea butter and oatmeal soap and that worked great too. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because the hand soap didn’t last long. Was out of it in about 2 weeks and it’s just a tad bit pricey.

I am usually very picky to choose skin care products.
When I have seen in news their store is number one in organic products, I decided to give it a try while I was visiting New York !
First impression I got was the store was a very welcoming place.
Staff were helpful and nice. They spend enough time with each costumer to make sure if they got what they want.
I tried their bath bomb, bar soap, and bubble bath and I can’t be happier.

My friend and I stumbled on this shop strolling around Willamsburg. Hypnotized by soaps that looked like fudge cake (what happens when I cut processed sugar from my diet), a lovely sales assistant began to tell us about the products.
Apparently, their rose sea salt body scrub was featured in Oprah’s magazine so that has to mean something right? Usually scrubs irritate and dry out my skin, but after trying out the scrub in the store, my hands felts so buttery smooth I just HAD to buy some. After using it a few times, I noticed a huge difference in my skin. It’s even gentle enough to use on your face.
Aside from the many different scented body scrubs, there are lotions, soaps, and other bath accessories to make even the most grimy New York apartment bathtub luxurious.
I can’t wait to buy more for gifts and myself.

During my visit in brooklyn i discoverd an organic soap shop where every thing is hand made amazing custmer service i was very pleasd and really recomend the body scrub they asked if i would like to try and i loved it really recomnded

Love this place. Friendly staff and some really nice smelling soaps and scrubs. My favorite things they carry are the bars of handmade shower soaps, which are beautiful objects in themselves and at seven dollars a pop really don’t make you feel guilty for treating yourself a bit!

Dead Sea Salt Scrub & matching SoapCherie BodyLotion will have your hands feeling like you never worked a day in your liiife! So I went in specifically looking for a simple oatmeal bath salt and found one that was mixed with oatmeal, milk and honey smelling absolutely yummy but not too strong. There was one lady who was working and she was very nice and not pushy at all. There was a buy 2 and get 1 free deal going so I bought 3 and used my Unilocal coupon.
Make sure you try the dead sea salt scrub and matching body lotion before leaving, you’ll thank me later!
One of my favorite things was the wonderfully scented candles that turn into a warm massage oil – nice!
As I was checking out I saw the cutest pack of gums with funny sayings on them like «have a pack of shut the hell up!»
They will certainly see me again! I was simply looking for a soap without all the chemical ingredients but I found much more!

I stumbled across this boutique that sold scrubs and soaps. The manager and owner were very acknowledgeable. I bought the charcoal soap, because it was this cool black color and had a clean scent. I use the charcoal soap for shaving and surprisingly works amazing. I also bought a Dead Sea salt scrub which really helped the eczema patch on my arm. I would definitely recommend this place. The hand treatment is a must!

I love all of their products. Their products are all natural. One of my favorite products is their massage oil candle. The one I am currently using is Jasmine. The way it works is, you have to let the candle burn and after a while you have a pool of oil, not wax, but oil. How awesome it that?! The candle comes with a small spoon so you can transfer the massage oil to your skin. I will DEFINITELY go back their again!

So I wanted some spa time with myself and found this cute little gem of a store to get some bubble bath bombs. Think Lush but for Brooklyn! The moment I walked in I was joyfully greeted by the owner or manager, I didn’t get her name, oyvey sorry! Similarly to Lush cosmetics, she told me that all their products use all natural ingredients and crafted locally in Brooklyn. Love it! It is on the pricier side, but they will give you discounts if you buy a lot, which I did, because places like these make it really hard for me to say no to everything they have to offer. Dangerous for me to be here too long !
Everything is just so cute, fun, and delightful to the ol’factory senses. At the counter there are a bunch of smaller inappropriately labeled fun stuff like the «hand shit» which the hefty $ 18 price tag for a small pot had me hesitating at first, but now I’m so glad I got it. I have the most amazing hand shit I carry in my purse now, which keeps my hands lusciously soft. I had fun in here, thanks for taking care of me ladies!

My first foray into this handmade soap store was back in December thanks to a Unilocal event being held at The Market NYC — located at the same address. Since Soap Cherie is pretty much at the entrance to The Market NYC (though with its own storefront as well) it was the first store I went into.
Soap Cherie boasts homemade bar soaps, bath salts, scrubs, massage oil and hot oil fragrances. I ended up purchasing both bath salts and bar soap the evening I swung by, both as holiday gifts. As luck would have it, I was gifted a lavender bar soap by Soap Cherie from one of my friends over the holiday, so I was actually able to sample the product on my own. The soap is wonderful! Not only is the fragrance soothing, it is not overwhelming the way some perfumed soaps can be. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin, so I always try to use products that have the least (if any) unnatural additives and Soap Cherie uses only all natural, organic ingredients. Thus far my skin has been soft, smooth and had zero irritation — so take my word for it — their products are wonderful!
I recently returned to Soap Cherie earlier this month to stock up on more soap, since I finally used up the bar I was gifted at Christmas, and the sweet, helpful women who work there remembered me from my visit back in December. Talk about customer service! I will absolutely be recommending this soap shop to all of my friends and now stock multiple varieties of the bar soap in my own apartment. Do yourself a favor and swing by this store to grab yourself a little slice of soap heaven.

Massage Oil Candle Review: AHHHMAZING.

Have you ever been accosted by those deranged ‘beauty consultants’ in the mall that force you to try their bogus skincare products (I can’t be the only one)? This place is like that, but if the beauty consultants were nice, non-​pushy people with legitimately awesome products to show you.
So I guess it’s not really like that at all, except for the skincare angle.
In any case, their Dead Sea Salt Scrubs are the only beauty-​ish item I’ve ever wanted to actually buy after someone insisted I try it. I didn’t buy it, because my skin is already as soft as a velvet pillow filled with feathers made of clouds.* But my lady did, and if my skin ever stops being so damn flawless, I’ll steal it from her.
Plus, they have cupcake soaps. And if you think you’re too good for cupcake soaps, I think you’ve got another thing coming.

*I was going to say as soft as a baby’s bottom, but I prefer not to spread around the fact that I’ve touched baby bottoms and that I actively compare my skin to theirs.

I came in one day passing and i will not lie it was the best decision i have ever made, See ive had really bad skin for years and i went in and they welcomed me in and where so warm and friendly i told them about my skin how it would crack and get red and open they told be about the dead sea salt scrub and i tried it on my arm and it was so soothing so i got that and the honey and black soap bars and it completely changed my skin i told them that i would take pictures and i did… it really changed everything as far as my skin goes !! Thank you so much fan for life.
