Don’t bother going close to closing because they don’t abide by the hours listed. Arrived 3 – 5 minutes before closing time and they were locking up and walking out. I always put up with the rudeness because you get used to attitudes in NY, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere now.

This is actually called Rainbow Cleaners now and has been for some time. For the past 2 or so years I’ve used them dozens and dozens of times for alterations and the drop-​off laundry service. I’ve never once been anything but completely satisfied. They’re reliable and super-​friendly and I’m glad they’re so close. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Oh god! Where to start with this place. If you at ok with mean nasty smelly and disgusting place and service, by all means this is your place. Gross! And rude to boot.

From my experience of living in Williamsburg for the past 5 years this is the best place I’ve gone to. There are plenty of dry cleaners around that I’ve tried, but I seem to come back to this place. I used to go to Diaz Cleaners, but they’ve since shut down.
In terms of tailoring, I’ve had them do a suit, some shirts and pants. Overall good quality I can’t complain about.

I get alterations and dry cleaning here often and the lady is always rude at the counter. I always ignored that and how filthy the floors are because they always seemed to do a good job and its cheap but then I brought a jumpsuit there to fix and they fixed the part I asked them to fix but broke it in another area and when i asked the woman about it she said that it was always like that when I know for a fact it wasn’t and still charged me for it. Horrible customer service especially when I got there often. Now I will never go back.

my beloved dry cleaner just retired, I decided to try sew good because of proximity to my home and some of the reviews were good. The woman who receives the clothing to be dry-​cleaned is INCREDIBLY RUDE and does not listen to what you want. It’s quite expensive and one of the dresses I had tried to get a stain removed from came back tome with more stains and they pressed it sealing in the stains with heat ruining a $ 700 dress. I would never trust them with any of my clothing again.

If I could give zero stars I would — this place is the WORST.
I brought ten things for dry cleaning, and sent back six. When I got home, I realized another dress — a silk and crochet Missoni — had black stains all over it. Looked as though somebody had wiped an oil car valve or something over it.
Further, the woman working was incredibly rude about me asking them to do the six back over a second time.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I’ve used the dry cleaning service many times and never had a problem in quality or turn around time. I also recently had a bridesmaid dress hemmed here and they did a great job. It was a long, JCrew, silk chiffon and the hem job looked perfect. They have a room upstairs to take measurements. The first time I brought the dress in I didn’t have the shoes, and they helpfully advised that I come back with the shoes to make sure the measurements were correct.

Confused and befuddled group of employees. ATTITUDE! SNIPPY! Lee the owner somehow thought that I had a problem when they lost my shirt. As he put it «We are only human. We make mistakes». All fine but I still need my shirt located, right? Well, not according to him. Terrible, terrible, terrible. They have always acted as if they were doing me a favor by cleaning my clothes. GO ELSEWHERE!

Terrible service. Terrible attitude. Would not recommend this place to anyone because there is a better place on Driggs just 2 blocks away that charges the SAME price but in a cleaner, more professional facility– Marta’s Cleaners.
I went in to get a small tear fixed. The woman told me it would cost $ 6 so I said fine, when I asked if I could get it tomorrow sometime she asked the woman upstairs and said 2 – 3 days. I remarked, it’s a small tear wouldn’t it be possible for tomorrow, she snapped at me and said «She’s busy.»
No clue about customer service.

Inconsistent at best. I’ve used them several times and today was the last time I will ever use them. They tell you they have allergy/​scent free detergent, but they don’t and never use it. I have had multiple items ruined by their industrial laundry techniques and poor dry cleaning (both of which they outsource half the time) and have finally given up on this place. If you’re in a bind and don’t have time to do your own, they can do it fast, but know you’re rolling the dice. Oh, did I mention I had a giant hairball between two folded shirts? Disgusting… I would recommend Berry Cleaners over this place any day.

As far as alterations go, this is the best of the best for a really low price. It’s always scary trying new places, and I really lucked out with this one! I’ve taken both leather and sequins in for alterations, and they came out flawlessly for a really low price. I am moving from Williamsburg next month, but will absolutely commute back over here for any future alterations.

Good, pretty fast, do their job.
If you are looking for a classic laundry, this is it. I go there every week since March 2014 and nothing unfortunate happened to me.
The Chinese guy is not very friendly (the one with the gloves). But who cares? Of course it’s always better to go to a place with friendly people but I think for a laundry, it doesn’t really matters.

Everything I handed over to them to be dry cleaned came back with the same stains. Sure everything had been pressed but literally any little spots or stains seemingly weren’t touched. I won’t be going back.

Pros:
–I don’t know why this place is three dollar signs. I started taking my laundry here because Hamperville was getting too expensive. They are pretty good, as drop off service goes. Good for minor alterations, friendly service.
Gripes:
–My white duvet came back with grey spots (what’s up with the grey spots I always get from drop off places? I’ve never had that happen with a washing machine at home).
–They NEVER match socks correctly (drives me nuts)
–They don’t always bother to turn clothes right side out before folding
So basically, they are a little sloppy but I don’t have much of an alternative aside from doing it myself.
