History

Established in 2008.

Sentinel Security Services was founded by a former Law Enforcement Officer who migrated from the Caribbean Island of St Lucia, West Indies, to the United States of America in 2002, and started his security career as a Retail Store Security Guard in Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, New York.

Sentinel Security Services is privately owned, and is managed by experience Office Support Staff. The Staff gain their first hand experience while previously employed in various positions at various security companies in the Tri State Area of New York, and by attending various Security Management Training Programs, Seminars, and Colleges.

Sentinel Security Services is Registered, Licensed, Bonded and Insured in the State of New York, and very soon, Sentinel Security Services will be registered in the State of New Jersey and Connecticut. Sentinel Security Services can serve other States through its Security Alliance Network of Security Companies.

COLIN B.

Business Owner

Colin Blackman is the Chief Executive Officer, Owner and Founder of Sentinel Security Services. Colin is a former contract security Operation Manager, and was employed by the three main security firms in the in the Tri State Area of New York. Colin’s function as an Operation Manager included Recruiting, Training, Supervision and Client Interaction.

Colin is the former Director of Dragnet Base Investigation and Collection Services, Inc., St. Lucia West Indies. Colin has over 35 years of security experience, shared between supervision and management. Colin’s functions included the overall supervision and daily operation of Dragnet Base Investigation and Collection Services, Inc.

Colin is directly responsible for the administration of Sentinel Security Services and oversees Accounting, Operation and Business Development. Colin graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Security Management Institute in New York, and is a Member of the American Society for Industrial Security.
