Sears Portrait Studio

We were a family of four (with two small kids 2 and 5 years old). We were looking forward to our visit to the Sears Portrait studio and considered it to be a special day. The experience from the beginning to the end was really not a positive one (from the time we had to wait with two small kids, to the level of service and picture quality). However, what made it really a horrible experience was the interaction with a photo session representative who ‘helped’ us. She refused to give her name, as she plainly said she would not want us to complain to her manager. Her first name was printed on the receipt she provided. Based on the receipt, her first name is Tori-​ann.
We had a groupon which we used for 7 print outs + CD with one digital image. We also were interested to purchase other products outside of our groupon option. But the ‘sales person’ was not interested in that. When we asked how much would it cost to purchase CD with our all digital pictures, she acted surprised. She did not know the price so she just told us $ 70, something she came up to let us pass. When we wanted to proceed with the purchase she refused. She went for 10 mins to find out the price but did not know what it was.
No manager was on site to help us either. We’ve made a few more attempts to find out about the price but had to comply with the sales person and proceed with the groupon selection as she promised to find out about the price later and looked really angry by our questions.
Never in my life did I see a sales person who would not want to sell a product to a really interested customer!
That was exactly this case. When the groupon selection were completed the ‘sales person’ handed the print outs to me and said we were done. I was really surprised she acted as if we did not ask to about CD price. I had to ask her again about it. She finally found another sales associates who finally was able to give me some information. I wanted to think for a minute before finalizing the purchase (yes, I waited for an hour to get the price and needed a minute to think if it was worth it). At that point Tori could care less about me as a customer, she told me that she considered my order to be completed. Turned around and walked with the next customer. She said if I wanted to proceed I had to wait for another available associate, which could be ½ hour wait or whatever.
When I said I was going to file a complain about this experience, another sales person started to yell at me that I should be grateful for the time they spent with me and keep your demands for yourself.
I can hardly remember the worst customer service experience in my whole life.
I do hope it is a specific location problem rather than the experience in every Sears Portrait Studios.
