An absolutely astounding piece of architecture. Came here on a self-​guided tour of Brooklyn Heights on a Sunday afternoon, and it was clear that this church is still very alive in the community. There was art made by children & locals all over the church, and many people inside long after the services had ended. On the right side of the front entrance, there is this sweet little spiral staircase which seems to lead to the belfry. OMG I want to sneak up there some day… :)

I attend this church regularly. The interior space is simple breathtaking. Every Sunday is a blast to the senses visually and acoustically. Church-​goers here are really friendly and they always have hidden stories about this place– Did you know W.E.B Dubois once sat on the same pews here?

Very welcoming and diverse church. The clergy are excellent. I’ve attended twice while visiting family in Brooklyn. Both times I came to their 9:30am early Sunday service. Both times were enriching. My 8yr old son loved it.

These concerts are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood who is looking to hear great music in an inspiring venue. St. Ann’s is really a neighborhood treasure.

A few years back it seemed that this church was due to be converted into condos, with the landmarked stained glass windows being preserved as premium foyers. The congregation rallied, however, and the church is open again, with a beautifully refurbished organ and tons of concerts by local arts organizations. for a list of performances. Come for a concert, soak up the beautiful atmosphere and hit a restaurant on Montague or Henry for dinner after the performance.
