Ryan Brown Catering

We had a great experience with Ryan Brown Catering at our December 2015 wedding.
From the start, Ryan was flexible and easy to work with. He developed a menu within our budget and customized to our venue, which prohibited red foods and wine. The private tasting, where we got to try out the menu and meet some of the team, exceeded our expectations.
That attention to detail carried over to our wedding day. Highlights included the server who brought us appetizers during family photos, and who made sure my husband and I were well taken care of; the delicious signature cocktail and attentiveness of the bar staff; and the team’s skill in decorating a table and transforming a room. Not surprisingly, we received many rave reviews of the food – even the vegetarians tried (and loved) the short ribs!
We are so glad to have found Ryan and his wonderful team, and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been to several weddings, but the food served at the weddings are almost always NOT the priority. Therefore, naturally, you won’t really find an amazing food at a wedding. However, when you go to a wedding of a major foodie, you will get to have pretty awesome food, desserts, and drinks!
We used Ryan Brown Catering from Brooklyn for our wedding, and they provided food and cocktails. They use local, organic, and grass-​fed beef, directly from farms as much as they can, so their food is healthier, and it tastes better.
Ryan was very understanding, accommodating, and willing work with us on every aspects, and made wonderful dishes and drinks. Everyone absolutely loved all the food and cocktails, even my sister who is a quite chef and food critic.

I am a bit embarrassed that it hast taken me just over a year to write this review following our wedding at Galapagos Art Space last spring! The team at Ryan Brown prepared the most amazing feast for our special day and people are STILL raving about it. Ryan really, truly listened to our wants and needs and made the whole process stress-​free, collaborative and, most importantly, FUN. All of his recommendations for the menu, staffing and rentals were spot on and he and his team handled the complexities of the venue beautifully. Hiring Ryan Brown to do our catering was easily the best vendor choice we made for our wedding and I can’t recommend him enough!

I have called on Ryan to caterer everything from a high-​end cocktail party at the New York Art & Antique Fair to a community celebration in Coney Island.
