Where to start with Pola (and her team). She was THE BEST!!!
If I could have hired her to plan my wedding I would have.
1. Our wedding was «different» — very casual, no assigned seating, no bridal party, etc. Also I am a very crafty DIY person so I wanted to do the décor myself. Pola got that immediately and worked WITH me so that I got to do some things and she did all the harder things! I got to have my personal touch on every table! She managed to incorporate into the gorgeous décor our books about Brooklyn (different ones on every table) and scrapbook paper (see below).
2. I told her we wanted to do this within a budget (after all… I was going to do this myself). Every single thing we talked about, she gave me 2 options and explained why one was cheaper. She also told me where I could do things myself — like for the signs she said «it would cost me $X, but often people just print out signs and put it in a fancy frame and you can save money that way.» Also she NEVER tried to upsell me. She never once said «well many people like bathroom flowers». I would have to prompt her for additional things I wanted :) It made me feel SO comfortable.
3. She goes WAY beyond flowers. She is a crafter as well. I can’t describe how AMAZING she was taking my idea for a scrapbook instead of a guestbook — it required pieces of paper for people to write us notes and I made a bird house for the notes — and turning it into something AMAZING. She thought through the logistics and convinced me to put paper on every table. And I thought she was going to cut white pieces of paper and she HAND MADE each piece of paper complete with little embellishments! We’re talking 100s of paper. I actually kept all the blank ones because they’re so amazing. She chose amazing pens. As a result we got notes from almost everyone!!! I’m upset that I can’t put pictures here of this amazingness but I am still blown away at how Pola did this and literally made the memories of my wedding possible (assuming I don’t screw up the scrapbook part).
4. I hesitate to say this because I’m worried Pola will end up super busy, but she ended up dropping off the hair piece (that she suggested when I told her I considered a flower crown but I have an assymetrical haircut and then she designed something for my hair cut) AND picking up stuff from my apartment, unrelated to décor, and taking it to the venue just because! :) I ended up having to take almost nothing to the venue thanks to her!!!
PS — Like another couple here, I called Pola and then had radio silence after a great conversation for a little over a week. I decided to persist though because it was PEAK wedding time when I contacted her (August) and a friend mentioned that florists often have MANY phone calls with people who never end up signing a contract! It must be tough — so I persisted and OMG I AM SO GLAD.

My husband and I got married at The Foundry this past weekend and thanks to Pola and her team, it actually looked like a dream.
From the moment we met with her during our initial consultation, she was a pleasure to work with. We had a vision of what we wanted and knew immediately that we could trust her creativity and artistic ability to make it all come to life. She went beyond that.
We were a couple on a budget and she had no problem making it all work. If you saw what our wedding looked like, you would have thought we spent a million dollars. We were able to outsource some of our own items to keep costs down while she still had plenty of things for us to work with.
Pola made us feel like we had been long time friends while still being completely professional. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am already trying to think of what event I can plan next so I don’t go too long without seeing her face.
Please trust me. If you have the opportunity to work with Pola, you will be grateful you did.

My daughter got married last Sunday at Liberty Warehouse in Bklyn. Pola, from Rosehip Social, was the amazing artist who created the most gorgeous floral arrangements we could have ever hoped to have had! Using our Pinterest boards and asking lots of questions, Pola was able to produce exactly the vision we had! She achieved the color palette we were hoping for and she used many beautiful and unusual flowers to achieve this. The textures and types were brilliant! We asked her to use succulents and cacti, in glass with beans and the look she produced was everything we wanted plus more! Our guests could not stop raving about the tablescapes and vignettes she created. We asked her to decorate the chuppah that my husband had built and her design totally enhanced the look. Everywhere I looked I noticed her small touches. The bouquet for my daughter was breathtaking and the bridesmaids’ bouquets and boutineers were fantastic… all had succulents with small tea roses, thistle or eucalyptus… so unique and stunning.
Pola was a pure joy to work with… nothing flustered her and she was willing to help us achieve the look we wanted in the framework of the budget we had. I cannot recommend her to anyone highly enough!

This is much delayed but Pola and her assistant really did our wedding justice and made it perfect.
Pre-​wedding: She was very reasonable in her estimates and costing. She offered realistic expectations on what the venue should look like based on our style and preferences. She actually took off items or offered smaller bouquets for the tables and displays because she worked the venue frequently (MyMoon). She was always approachable and was very detailed and thoughtful in showing us the designs and planning before hand.
During wedding: Pola and her assistant created a wedding display board for us (from chalk), decorated our seating area for the ceremony with greenery and also little bouquets in the hanging mason jars. She even put flowers around the DIY seating charts we did for the guests as well as our tables full of little favors and cameras. The arrangement is prefect and makes our style and the venue perfectly. She placed a beautiful arrangement around our little cutting cake and even put a bouquet with a courtesy basket in the bathroom. She placed a ton of candles and little votive jars everywhere to make sure the mood is perfect both inside and outside and at all times. She was also super helpful in making sure that our side DIY projects looked great and took time out of her busy set up to help us set up.
Post wedding: She took care of all the clean up arrangements with MyMoon and handled everything. i did not have to do anything and it was perfectly handled without any issues.
Overall: Love Pola! Would not be able to have my dream wedding without her!

I picked up a bouquet for Valentine’s Day and the roses and flowers were perfectly arranged, smelled delicious, and looked way more expensive than they actually cost. I don’t know why anyone would buy bodega flowers (Hello! They don’t even have a scent!), especially when there is a great place in the neighborhood.
You can look up bouquets online for inspiration, or to make it easy, or you can pop in and browse the beautiful shop.

We worked with Pola on wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and a garland for our arch, and her work was just. incredible. We were initially planning to DIY our flowers, so we didn’t even have a budget for a florist, but a month before the wedding we realized there was no way we’d be able to pull it off. Pola truly swooped in and saved the day. She worked with our small budget and gave us second and third options on flowers that cost less but had the same feel about them. At every step she was concerned about keeping us within budget and never made us feel bad about our limitations, which we can’t say for many other wedding vendors (amirite). The day of, the flowers were stunning. We were married in a minimalist space, and the flowers were everything. We received so many glowing comments on our unique arrangements, and I’m willing to admit we hoarded all those centerpieces to take home afterward. They were way too pretty to give up!

We contacted Rosehip Social to see if they could do the flowers for our wedding after seeing their work online. We had an initial call with Pola and things seemed to be going great — we got along well, liked her energy, and she nailed the aesthetic my wife and I were looking for. After reviewing her initial proposal, we emailed asking for clarification on a couple of minor points and got no response. We followed up via email and phone in the next week or so and never ended up hearing anything back. Not even a «sorry, something came up and I can’t take the job». Total radio silence. We saw on her site that she’s still around and in business, so we have no idea what happened. In short, pretty flowers but terribly unprofessional.

Pola did our wedding flowers and they were amazing. She walked me through the flower district and we picked out flowers that would work in April. I just told her what I was thinking with our colors and I trusted that they would be beautiful. We were just looking for something sweet and simple. I didn’t see them until I walked down the aisle. And they were exactly what we wanted. She also made me a variety of head wreaths to choose from which was very generous of her. She was respectful of our budget and did an absolutely fabulous job. I can’t wait for her café/​flower shop to open in Brooklyn, I’m telling all my friends.

Pola did a wonderful job with the flowers for my wedding. Months prior, I showed her a whole bunch of photos of bouquets and centerpieces and tried to explain what I liked (or didn’t) about each, and she took my fairly vague input and translated it into beautiful arrangements. I found her prices to be extremely reasonable, particularly after getting a quote from another florist in the area.
If you have a very firm vision for your flower arrangements, you should probably ask Pola to put a sample arrangement together if possible. In retrospect, it occurred to me that I didn’t totally know what my flowers would look like, but I had a lot of faith in Pola and I was thrilled with the results. But I could see how other brides might not want any element of surprise on their wedding day.
On the day of my wedding, Pola was extremely professional and went out of her way to make sure the table arrangements were set up perfectly, pinned everyone’s boutonnieres, and explained to one of my bridesmaids in detail how to dry off the bottom of the bouquet so that we wouldn’t get water spots on our dresses, and how to put the bouquets down so they wouldn’t get squished! She really went above and beyond my expectations.

What a relief to have such a professional and caring vendor! Wedding planning is stressful enough as it is but Pola was incredibly easy to work with! Her ideas and input were so helpful and I can’t thank her enough for the work that was put into our event! Their flowers are absolutely gorgeous and I was insanely happy about how everything turned out!!! Absolutely work with them! You won’t regret it!!!

They were hands down the best vendor of my whole wedding (and I had a nearly perfect day). The flowers were BREATHTAKING and they loved all of my crazy ideas. They were prompt, responsive, helpful, creative, full of ideas, and just amazing. They do everything. Our space had room for just two centerpieces and holy holy they were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. These girls have STYLE!

My wedding was amazing and I couldn’t have done it without Tashi and Bobo.
Pola and I met me back in March for my May 19thwedding of 50 people at a small rustic restaurant in midtown. I had 5 tables of 10 in a small private room for a brunch reception following a ceremony. We came up with amazing ideas for the centerpieces made of antiqued wood boxes with grass and daisies. We decided on daisy bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, with matching boutonnieres and corsages. She also provided cake samples that were nothing less than divine. (Mike couldn’t wait for the wedding just to have another piece of the French vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling we had sampled and decided on.)
Pola sent me updates and photos of the boxes she hand-​built, the cake design, and all sorts of thoughts to make my small wedding even more lovely and personal. With 2 months till my wedding, and me being a Nervous Nelly, I was thrilled that all was settled and done and I was working with someone who was creative and visual on things I was not.
3 weeks before my wedding my original venue was no longer willing to work with us and a change needed to occur. In 2 days my now husband and I found another location and we moved the wedding from the small rustic restaurant to a larger more modern space –A change in style and the need for more centerpieces was now needed. I called Pola and she met me the next day at the new venue, I was frantic, she helped me visualize where to place the tables, and thought of all sorts of things that I was too much in a daze to think of. Within moments — she had a new centerpiece idea keeping with my love for the daisies that would work in a more modern space.
The day of my wedding was a dream come true, the new centerpieces in painted buckets made the space just lovely, she went above and beyond and helped me by setting up my escort cards, bathroom baskets and toasting glasses, giving me extra time that morning to get ready and not have to worry about a thing.
It is now two weeks post wedding. Mike and I have fought the urge to pull the top tier of the cake out of the freezer (I am not sure how long our willpower will hold) our centerpieces are still looking lovely on the dining room table and I couldn’t be happier about how it all looked.

Just had my wedding in October, I found Tashi and Bobo on craig s list and of course was a little skeptical until I met Pola and then my heart was at ease. She knew exactly what I wanted for my flowers and I was thrilled with the results. She made beautiful bouquets for me and the maid of honor, the boutonnieres were right on and the table setting was elegant. I can’t say enough good things about their work and Pola is just a wonderful person.

Tashi and Bobo do amazing things with flowers and cake. They did the flowers for my wedding and totally got what I was looking for, and they also provided the wedding cake. People loved the flowers and loved the cake. Pola really listened to me and gave me great ideas. The price also couldn’t be beat.

Tashi & Bobo just did my wedding. I had gone on Craigslist and decided to take a chance on these ladies. It was the best decision I ever made (aside from saying yes to the groom). They are fantastic. Really. Pola aka Bobo, came to my office with a photo array of flowers so I could choose what I wanted, or for that matter, didn’t want. I don’t know anything about flowers, so she guided me. I ended up just telling her to do something that she thought would suit me and everything was better than perfect! My bouquet was gorgeous, and the boutonnieres were tasteful and romantic. The wreath for the flower girl was simple and beautiful. She decorated the naked wedding cake with flowers without me even asking (or thinking of it). She took initiative with grace and kindness. I cannot say enough good things about her. I cannot wait to have an occasion to hire these ladies again. Hire them! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also very reasonably priced.
