Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Both designers, Enrique met Kimberly while tango dancing. They married in a haunted castle, had lovely Lavender (& later Willy) and opened the shop. The rest as they say is history.
Since mixing marigolds and lettuce at the age of three, Kimberly has been a gardener. She interned at Department of Agriculture while in school. After moving to New York, she has gardened on fire escapes, roof tops, walls and on patios. Her focus has always been on making things easy.
Since picking up his first crayon, Enrique has been an artist. His unique design sensibility and passion is reflected in the whimsical and beautiful floral arrangements at the shop.
From elaborate weddings to a simple yet elegant spray of wildflowers, our designs employ often unusual combinations, tailored by us for you.
We opened Rose Red & Lavender to share our passion for plants and flowers with our community. We offer classes, advice, and support, in the interest of making Brooklyn a nicer, greener place to live.
