I was impressed at how much time the doctor took answering all my questions. Very thorough. I got a Saturday appointment and he even took the time to talk to my sons school nurse. Very attentive and kind. This is the way to go!

I had a bunion surgery with this doctor 9 years ago. However, he did not realign my big toe. At the time I asked him why he did not do that he responded by giving an excuse that he did not want me to have more pain. But I ended up having the bunion formed again a few weeks post surgery. It was very mild at the time. Fast forward to today, I experience so much pain due to the fact that my big right toe is constantly hitting my second toe even when walking barefoot. I have to use a toe spacer but does not stay on due to the constant friction. In addition, my left foot ended having a bunion aggravated due to my body trying to alleviate the pain from the right big toe. Looking back, I know why he skipped realigning my big right toe. It was because at the time I had a Medicaid plan and he wanted to make the most money by eliminating a step. Doctor Dimiceli, I am suffering more now because of this skipped procedure. Because I am a mother of two toddlers right now, I have to wait to have another podiatrist fix not only the realignment but also bunions from my both feet.

Dr. Dimiceli was great! I was able to get a same-​day appointment and went in due to ankle/​foot pain. He was very thorough and attentive, asked me lots of questions, and best of all, spent nearly 20 minutes explaining to me the anatomy of my foot, the effects of overpronation, and how to treat and prevent injuries in the future. Turns out I had mild tendonitis from running around barefoot on the beach (I’ve been wearing orthotics forever), he sees it all the time and is overpronated himself so he had great advice. He is very knowledgeable and I felt really confident in his abilities (I have been to dozens of musculoskeletal specialists over the last few years due to a back injury — I’ve seen good and bad). I will definitely return if the need arises.

I needed a podiatrist close to me in Park Slope Brooklyn and I scored. Dr. Dimiceli is great. Old school guy… don’t expect fancy ipads and aromatherapy. Don’t be too concerned that his equipment looks a bit dated. He is very thorough and took his time with me. I needed to clear up a few toes that had a fungus under the nail. I’d taken Lamisil internally and I wasn’t psyched about taking more medication and having to have my liver checked on the regular. We agreed on using external drops that Dr. D has specially made. We discussed that it would take longer and it would be up to me to use the drop consistently, on a daily basis. He scheduled me for follow up visits every three months where he cleans out the dead toenails with a dremel. Having Dr. Dimiceli explain the my options and coming up with the decision that we did was exactly what I was looking for in a podiatrist. And he’s a die hard Rangers fan!

Off to a good start after seeing a bunch of other Dr. I felt the most comfortable with him. He was on time for my appointment and did not rush me he took the time to actually explaining what was going on in my feet and how it can be corrected.
