Quick Stop Tire Shop

Been going to this shop for 16 or so years! Great place! Quick, professional, friendly and great priced! Wish this place was all of the city with same owner who is just great at what he does. Wouldnt go anywhere else! Better off towing your car straight to him for all your tire needs! Good luck with everything!

I have nothing but high praises for Quick Stop! I grew up in the neighborhood & had been living here for years. I used to just walk by this tire repair shop on my way to the subway station without batting an eye. Less than 3 years ago, I couldn’t start my Pontiac G6. I walked over to Quick Stop & ask Maurice (who turns out to be the owner) for assistance. First he walked over to my car (parked 2 blocks away) to see what’s wrong with it. Then he drove his work van over to help boost my car & expected nothing in return! Although the boost didn’t start my car, I was absolutely amazed with his sincere eagerness to help with my car troubles.
About 2 years ago, I hit 2 giant pot holes while driving on Belt Pkwy during the winter snow plowing months. It caused large bubbles (almost the size of golf balls) on the side of my front passenger tire & put a huge dent on the rim. Maurice took the time to explain to me that the wires inside the tire were damaged, causing the large bubbles to form on the tire’s side. He said I need to replace the tire because it’ll be unsafe to drive with it at a high speed. He gave me great prices for 3 different new tires because I didn’t want a used one. Being a woman who can be easily taken advantage of at any automobile-​related shops, I had also Google tire prices online to avoid being overcharge. There was no pressure to buy, nor B/​S with the prices or qualities of the tires, so I went with the price & quality that I was comfortable paying. I had also witnessed Maurice using some tools to bend back my rim & he reassured me that the rim will continue to work just fine. Two years later, my rim is still fine & my tire is performing fabulously!
My dad’s Toyota Camry had winter tires on because my parents live in CT. After winter was over 2 years ago, the car needed 4 new all-​season tires. Maurice gave us quotes for 3 different tires with fair prices & my dad purchased the new tires without hesitation. When winter came again, Maurice took off the all-​season tires from the rims & replaced them with the winter tires, bagged the tires in large garbage bags & packed them into the car for us. The price for swapping out the tires was great… let’s just say my dad saved at least $ 20-​$ 40 at Quick Stop, if he had the same job done in CT.
Last year, a close family friend (who doesn’t speak much English) needed 4 new tires for his work van. I called & spoke to Maurice, who gave me prices for different tires in which I passed along the info. This friend, who is a price-​sensitive shopper, replaced all the tires on his work van a few weeks later & spoke highly of the guys at Quick Stop.
I am Quick Stop’s customer for life & so are my families & friends. You don’t even need to haggle with the prices because their pricing is reasonable & it was worth every penny that my families, my friends & I spent there. I will not hesitate to recommend Quick Stop to anyone looking for new or used tires. Benny & Maurice are my favorite local tire repair guys! I now walk by their shop with a «Good Morning» or «Hello» & sometimes stop by to check my car’s air because their characters & services ROCKS!!!

Great tire shop! I’ve been coming, and sending friends here for years. Fast, very courteous service, and best of all, extremely reasonable prices.

We’ve been here 3 times over the past 2 years. (I hate you Belt Parkway!!!) Each time they were very chill and down to earth. They never tried to over sell me on tires whether I come alone or with the hubby… which I as a woman very much appreciate from any mechanics shop. Patches and plugs (less than or around $ 10) are very reasonable and service is fast. We just priced out four tires and they gave us options at all price points with no hassle. ($ 90 per tire and then it goes up depending on what we wanted. This included installation.) Thanks for that.
