Quality Repair

This sorry excuse for a repair company is HORRIBLE! Please do not use them or you may have a nervous breakdown. They LIE all the time about what time/​day the apt is and then never show up. YOU have to be proactive. They never call you. They shouldn’t even be allowed to be in business. I highly recommend using another company or better yet buy a repair book, read it and fix it yourself it will get done much faster. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Do not use them!!! The Extended warranty company contracted it out to them. They came to my home 8÷19÷2015 and I am still waiting for them to call to say the parts are in, after they said they would be back that Friday or Monday latest. I called and the nasty woman who answers the phone said there was nothing they could do for me. I had to wait!!! I have three children and my son is autistic. I have been without a fridge for more than 30 days.

Do not even bother to get a quote from this outfit. The woman who answered the phone hung up on me twice once I spotted inconsistency in her quote, and even admitted that she hung up. Her first quote was diagnostic + labor + parts. When I said I can buy my own parts, her quoted labor charge became 1.5X of diagnostic + labor. She would not admit she even quoted the other numbers.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU USE THIS HORRIBLE REPAIR CO. I dont even want to give them a star. In all my ?? yrs of life I have never been this disgusted with the service of a repair company. Everything I read on here is true, unreliable, shady, and the receptionist who makes the appt. is rude, LIES. The repairman never shows up. I lodged a complaint with Home Depot protection plan about this company.
There is not enough room on here for me to tell you my horrible experience with quality repair so I’ll be brief. Home Depot made my appt. for a Friday and the receptionist at quality repair calls the morning of the Friday appt. and tells me that they don’t work on Friday and rescheduled me for the following Monday. I was outraged after taking the Friday off for nothing and I take the Monday off and sat around all day waiting and waiting, so I called her and she blatantly lied to me saying the repairman was coming. I then called Home Depot and they called her and she told the rep that the repairman had already been in my neighborhood and that I was not on the schedule for any repair. I hit the floor with disbelief.
So with all that said… STAY CLEAR OF THIS CO.

Oh my lord, what liars! They have no idea what is going on. They work for multiple large corporations doing warranty work. I bought my applance from Home Depot and bought the warranty coverage. I have been trying to get repair for 3 weeks. Numerous calls to an extremely rude office, telling me the technician is minutes away and never shows up. I still cannot get my stove repaired or even looked at after 3 weeks. An absolutely ridiculously rude office staff.

incorrect diagnosis of fridge problem, did not call me back for two weeks after the diagnostic visit. (by then i had consulted with another repair place which fixed the fridge.)

the repair guy that i met is nice and quick/​efficient. and that is the only good thing i can say about my experience with these people.
best buy sent me a «refurbished» haier AC that didn’t work, and this is the company that fixes it under the warranty. i’ve been trying for LITERALLY A YEAR to get them to come and fix it. they came once, and the guy said my motor was broken and they just had to get the new part in and install it at a later date. they’ve had the part for 3 months and every week i try to schedule an appointment and either i get a no-​show after waiting 13 hours, or i get ‘oh no one actually scheduled you for this appointment lemme reschedule you”, or some other excuse. I’m always nice on the phone, and they’re always quick to sass me and rush me off the phone, and they have hung up on me EVERY TIME I’VE CALLED. and every single one of the receptionists tells me they’re the manager and they’ll take care of it. It’s been my NIGHTMARE.
IF YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE — know that in manhattan they start downtown and work their way up. I live on 56^th and Tenth, and it’s «impossible» for them to get here before two (even though that’s the window of time they give you). The higher up you live, the later they’ll get there. Just know that when you’re working with them and you can avoid most of the remarkable amount of suckery they might throw at you.

They came, just outside of our window and after many cancellations. That is all.

I wish I had the option to not choose a star at all! This company is the worse I have ever come across! My husband purchased a windowless AC from BJ’s Wholesale Club and they offered an extended warranty to cover replacement or repair for it. He purchased the extended warranty and apparently this is the company BJ used to service the product.
Initially someone from Quality Repair came out to look at the AC and he determined that it needed a part which he said they would order. That was over a month ago :-/​Two weeks after the initial appt. and not hearing anything from them, my husband contacted them only to be told that the part came in, however they realized that another part was needed along with it. Clearly, they didn’t know that beforehand.
Now it’s late Aug. and practically fall and while both parts needed to repair the AC are in, we have yet to see the repair person come back to repair it. We have had numerous appts. scheduled where either my husband or myself have stayed home to wait and no one showed! We actually have an appt. scheduled for today between 8am & 12pm and it’s after 10am now. I called the company this morning and the rude customer service rep., «Whitney» answered and said she would call me back when she got in touch with a tech. I spoke to her at 9am and an hour plus later, have not received a call back.
I contacted BJ’s Warranty Company because clearly they do not research the independent companies they choose to use to service products or they would not have chosen this one. I was able to Google this company’s number and on every site they came up on, there was a bad review. If it was that easy for me then I say SHAME ON BJ’S WHOLESALE CLUB WARRANTY COMPANY as well for probably just going with whatever company is the most cost efficient for them as opposed to one that will actually do the job and keep customers happy.
So with all of that said, hopefully today will be the appt. this company actually shows up and to all those who may ever need repair for anything or whoever comes across this company, RUN FAST and don’t think twice!

No show on day of apt. Even though appointment was scheduled 3 days in advance by Haier, they waited till 5pm the day before the appointment to confim and **cancelled** the appointment when they didn’t get a call back. Morning of apt. a call to them resulted in my waiting for them 3 hours only to get told they wouldn’t make it after all.
Used by Haier, number given was 888 782‑3151. Haier originally said JH Refrigeration would be calling. Not sure if that’s the same company.

This shop should be avoided at all costs.
They have no showed for several appointments, they lie to us on the phone, stating they will be at our home in a hour and then not showing up. Their customer service people are rude, and don’t even bother trying to explain why they no-​show for appointments.
The other reviewer is right on, they trade under multiple names. My invoice from them says 22 Rockaway Avenue.

No show after numerous calls saying they were around the corner and would be there any minute. I took a half day off for these jokers, don’t trust them.

Worst service experience ever. Never engage with this company. They have promised a technician to service our air conditioner at least 9 times over the past month and have never delivered. This is a waste of time. I only wish I could give it an even lower rating.
