Phil’s Tuxedo’s

I have used Phil’s on 3 different occasions and had a perfect fit every time. Everyone I have dealt with has been totally professional and courteous. They really know what they are doing and make you feel like a friend. There is NO other place i would consider using if I had the need again.

I’ve been coming to Phil’s for several years now. My friends have been consistently using his services for every one of their weddings, and this year, I came to him for my own wedding. Beyond anything, Phil knows what he’s doing. He knows what looks good and he has the product to pull it off. His work is always on time and on point. He’s never disappointed. Moreover, he’s beyond reasonable to deal with and always sticks to his word. Highly recommended!

I had a very pleasant experience at Phil’s. I was one of the groomsmen in a wedding party. Forever running late, Phil couldn’t have been nicer. He was very patient and understanding. Unfortunately, after the wedding there happened to be a fight. In trying to break it up, my tuxedo pants were ruined. I brought everything back to Phil And explained to him what happened. I insisted on paying him for the damages but he refused. He was completely understanding and sympathetic to the whole scenario and wished us luck with everything. I would recommend Phil’s Tuxedo to anyone who will listen!

i can apprecieate that. i was upset about something and kinda flipped out alittle bit he calm me down and make sure everything was perfect cant thank him enough… my ay was excellent for my wedding and all my grooms men looked sharp…
bride was really happy… i cant give 5 stars for 1 reason. the store is closed on sunday and to return them it has to be monday before 6pm, as most of us work on monday it sucked that we would have been charged a late fee, if open on sunday then i could have returned then. and it closes @ 6pm and if you work a tipical 9 to 5 kinda hard to get there before 6pm… so i had a courier company drop off all the tux for me… but other then that the most important thing was that we all looked sharp and fitted correctly for that big day and that was perfect… very accomadating…

Can’t say enough great things about Phil and his team. Flawless tuxedos, great store hours and an absolute pleasure to work with. He was HIGHLY recommended to me and I’m happy to say I can confidently pass the recommendation on! Thank you Phil!

I am usually a guy that doesn’t give reviews because reviews can be so subjective, but this time I had to get the word out about this place. I was getting married and needed a tuxedo for myself. I waited till the last 2 weeks before the wedding before renting a suit and when I searched online, I found this place. Phil’s Tuxedo’s. I came in with my bride to be and chose a suit, and Phil went out of his way to get me that suit in my size, which let me tell you is no small feat. Later I found out that he went out of his way to tailor it to suit my irregular body shape. It… was…PERFECT!!! I will always go to Phil’s when I need a tuxedo from now on.

I used Phil for my wedding last month. He is the ultimate professional and does great work. His tux’s are great quality. I originally met him when I was in a friends bridal party, loved his work, then used him for mine. I highly recommend him.

This was my third time using Phil for a tuxedo for a wedding. I am a small business owner so I like to support other small business owners but I have to say that Phil has demonstrated exemplary service and remarkable leniency especially with regard to late drop off as I have always been a little bit tardy in getting the suits back to him (it’s a little bit of a track for me as I live in South Park slope and he’s in Bensonhurst). Also the bride for this particular wedding had very stringent requirements for the tuxedos and Phil and his team met those expectations with flying colors. I would recommend you use Phil over any of the chain stores because he’ll give you personalized service and a bunch of native Brooklyn charm to go with it. Plus you’re going to look amazing. Also, he seems to throw shoes in for free or so it seemed. Very reasonable price in my opinion.

This Sunday will be my 5^th Tuxedo from Phil ranging from High School Prom to several weddings acting as a groomsman. I’ve gotten Tuxedo’s from other establishments (including Men’s Warehouse) and Phil’s have always been the best both price wise and fit. His level of detail and making sure you look good as a groomsman is unmatched among other rental locations in the area.

This is the best tuxedo rental place in Brooklyn. They are very well priced and have some of the nicest rental suits I have seen. Phil made sure that my groomsmen and i all looked awesome. He made sure to check every detail. This is the best tux rental. Highly recommend them! Thanks Phil!

We could not have been happier with our experience at Phil’s Tuxedos. Phil went above and beyond when we asked for coral bowties and he didn’t have the color we were looking for; He helped us pick out a color according to a swatch from one of the dresses and then ordered the color that complemented the color of our bridesmaid dresses beautifully. We needed 3 groomsmen tuxedos and Phil was very helpful in picking out the right size and style. He communicated with us wonderfully and even called us a day before the wedding to ask if we needed anything (We needed a few tuxedo buttons, which he gave to us). Definitely recommend coming to Phil for tuxedos.

Rented 14 tuxedos for my groomsmen in November. I can’t say enough great things about my experience. Phil was beyond accommodating and fit my husbands tuxedo perfectly. All the guys looked amazing and they were all different body types. This place is the way to go!

Just got married a couple weeks ago. Needed a nice suit tux.
I grew up in Bensonhurst, but live the Manhattan/​expensive Brooklyn, lifestyle. Was so happy to go home to find the best tux joint in the city.
Phil took his time, and made sure I was completely well taken care of. I also reserved 5 suits for my grooms party, and they were all handled and measured in no time at all.
I didn’t just look good. I looked the best I’ve ever looked. Just like a man should on his wedding day. I could not have been happier.
This place is the best there is in NYC for a tux. Will never set foot in a Jos A. Banks, or men’s warehouse for a tux or suit again. Phil is my guy forever.

The tailoring was excellent! Everyone was polite and helpful. All the groomsmen were sharp. I would recommend Phil’s to anyone in the New York area.

Amazing, prompt service. Phil’s saved the day when Jos A. Bank gave me a tux rental that didn’t fit. I stopped in on a Thursay afternoon and left with an amazing tux in less than 30 mins (for about $ 30 less than the other guys)!

When we were planning our wedding, my husband had usually used another tuxedo place on 18^th avenue. He let me know up front that he did not want to use them for our wedding because he did not like their service.
I did some research and found Phil’s. I made an appointment and I went with my fiancé at the time to have him fitted and to try on what the different tuxedo’s would look like.
Phil was super helpful. He really measured my husband to make sure he got the perfect fit and did his best to show us the different styles and textures that were available.
He really took the time to ask me about what color scheme i was going for so that everything matched and asked me what color the bridesmaids were wearing and what material their dresses were so that the groom and groomsmen would match in nicely.
The tuxedo’s were clean and looked impeccable on everyone and we could not have been more pleased!
I would highly HIGHLY recommend this business!
