We pride ourselves in being one of the only shops in the country that does not kennel or muzzel dogs. We have been working with animals for over 20 years, and we will never restrain, muzzle or stick your pets in cages. We also specialize in never boarding any of our animals unsupervised in a locked store in kennels. They are all brougth home to a warm comfy enviorment, Toms house. Also know as doggie wonderland

History

Established in 1990.

Perfect Paws was opened under the mission that no animal should ever be a product, line item or piece of property that is just in for cleaning and boarding. Tom has painstakingly made Perfect Paws a model for how animals should be treated in all aspects of their lives. There is never under any circumstance where a pet should be muzzled (and do we get some doozies). Tom retrains all his staff on the principle no dog or cat is just an animal, they are a living part of his extended family. He prides himself on his animal handling talents. He has made this business his life and is a main artery in the Brooklyn community. We hope you all get a chance to stop by for a little chit chat and visit. The door is always open.

Business Owner

Tom has spent many years studying animals in many formats. He holds degrees in Anatomy and Physiology in comparitive mammals, Nutrition, Veterinary tech sciences, certifications in CPR and Animal First Aid. He has spent most of his life dedicated to helping animals in many ways from charity events to catch and release programs. Tom is a man with an open ear to your training concerns and when you know him you will see how much free advice he will give. A man full of advice for your asking.
