Fresh orange juice is delicious! I ordered the Eggs pegasus(eggs benedict with cheese on top). It was different and tasted good. Not one of the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had, but still good. Also tried the chicken waffles. Pretty good too. Chicken tenders were moist. The dijon mustard syrup complemented the dish well. Tried both the Irish and Canadian bacon. They were both served lukewarm, which I didn’t like, but IRISH bacon pwns canadian. Irish bacon has more fat than the Canadian bacon, so it tastes better. If they were both served warmer, I think I would’ve enjoyed them more. Bought a blueberry muffin to go. Ate it a couple hours later and it was delicious. I love how the top is slightly crispy, but the bottom is soft. A very good combo.

This diner is next to a Carvel so one might not really notice it due to dim windows and a small doorstep. Once you step inside, you might notice a line or at least a lot of busy workers, but the atmosphere is homey and warm. The waitresses and waiters there will come by to ask how you’re doing and it’s best to come with less than 6 friends because tables are small and it gets packed here on the early morning/brunch time. Pegasus closes earlier than most restaurants, but their food is something I love coming here for. Some people might rate their food average, but I loved here for the experience. Their omelettes are huge and home fries are stuffing. Sometimes I get so comfortable in their chairs I have trouble getting up struck with food coma. They have fresh squeezed juices and really good soups. I usually come here on Friday for their cream of turkey.

Nice place to eat. Came here this morning to have breakfast with some of my out of town friends. The food was your typical American breakfast style plates. I had the meat omelette with a side of bacon. Only down side was its a cash only place.

This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a cappuccino and it was a good balance between steamed milk and espresso. However, it was unsweetened, which threw me off a little. We ordered the Challah French toast and the meat mix omelette. The French toast was moist, indicating that they soaked it in the liquid for a sufficient amount of time. There was nice browning on the bread. The meat mix omelette was good but nothing over the top. I will say that the eggs probably had a splash of milk added into it because they were extra fluffy.

A must is the fresh squeezed orange juice. French Toast is mouthwatering. Best waitstaff. Small place fills up quick on weekends but worth the wait. Everything yummy.

Came here for the brunch on Thursday. We were seated right away. It’s a great place for our neighborhood. They have fresh squeezed juices which is always exciting. My friend ordered the turkey sandwich with French fries, I had the Avocado Toast which was amazing! It had a bit of the salad on the side, toasts had sunny side up eggs and avocado. Delicious! I didn’t give 5 starts cuz they accept cash only which is very inconvenient and I haven’t seen any signs around about it.

By far the absolute best of the best. This little gem on 3rd Ave is one to stop at. Serving standard favorites– triple decker sammys, FRESHANDMADETOORDER chicken fingers that are the , breakfast omelettes that are fantastic… but my absolute favorite menu item: corned beef hash. I have to say, in general, I absolutely HATE corned beef hash. But, I sucked it up and tried it after reading reviews that it is yummy. Gotta say: I get it every single time I’m here… no matter what else I get. My favorite version(which is not on the menu but I thought it would be awesome and it is) is a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich with corned beef hash on it(think substitute bacon). YUM!!! I highly suggest trying this place. I’ve never been disappointed.

This place gets packed out for a reason. The challah french toast with bananas and nutella is a must try. The french toast is so soft and perfect because of the challah. I recently tried the chicken and waffles, and it wasn’t anything special. On the menu it says that their chicken is never frozen, and always cooked fresh. The lattes here are amazing as well, I always go for the iced hazelnut latte. Staff is so friendly here. Only downside is that it’s cash only!

Came for breakfast here with a few friends one early morning. Luckily there wasn’t a line out the door. This place has dim lighting. it’s relaxing and the staffs are so friendly. I had the French toast with bananas and walnuts. My goodness it was so good, I finished the whole dish. It comes with 4 halves of french toast, topped with bananas and walnuts as it says on the menu. The syrup is on the side. It was so good. My friends got the Irish breakfast with easy over eggs. It was so much on the plate. Although I didn’t try it, it looked and smelled really good. Definitely coming back to try it next time. TIP: 1) CASHONLY. Doesn’t matter what card you have, get cash before going in. 2) Go earlier if you don’t want to wait out the doors.

This place is CASHONLY. This place is your standard diner. But they offer a limited brunch menu with staple brunch items like eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast etc! The brunch prices are well priced relative to the city — flat $ 11 dollars any brunch dish. And discounted fresh squeezed orange juice and latte if you order a brunch dish($ 2.50)! The orange juice is small — maybe 8 oz? 10 oz? I had the bourbon French toast with bananas and almonds! The almonds gave the toast an extra crunch which I loved. Service was good/average. They also serve this brunch on weekdays(came in on a Monday afternoon). Or maybe they just have it all the time… But that’s a thumbs up for me.

Wanted to see what all the hype was about, so we came here for brunch on a Monday, as to avoid the long wait. Luckily, there was one table available for us! My friend got a delicious basted egg brunch plate, and I go the grilled chicken panini and a cappuccino. Everything was pretty good. No complaints, but I need to return and try out some other yums.

Had their raved wallnut banana french toast with challah bread(you can choose what types of bread you want it to be made with) and it was fantastic. Cappuccino was strong but smooth and all I can say is, it was legit. Would go back again for sure.

So this place as my wife and I walk by has ALWAYS been packed… but we finally decided to venture out and see what the hype was all about. We popped in brunch and was not really greeted by anybody, but one of the waiters pointed at a table signaling us to sit there. This place is a really small, mom-and-pop type of brunch place which has its own hipster/city like charm with its décor of the bar and seating arrangements. The menu was pretty straight forward, but we decided to order off their«BRUNCH» menu that looks like it changes occasionally. I went with chicken and waffles and my wife ordered the french toast. The waffles were whatever — nothing to really write home about, but the chicken tenders/strips as they advertise«NEVERFROZEN» really delivered. It had to have been one of the most tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked chicken strips I’ve ever had! It was perfectly accommodated with their homemade honey-dijon sauce. French toast with diced almonds and bananas — my wife loved them; but I wasn’t too big of a fan. It tasted very bland. Overall, this is a nice little place to have near by; you should definitely check it out but remember, they are cash only with no ATM on site, so come prepared!

Solid 3 stars! Good diner. Good food. Better diner food– but portions are smaller and a little bit more pricey than your average diner. I deducted a 2 stars because of portions/price and the fact that they’re NOT open for late night dinner/snacks. That sucks. Service is very ordinary. Maybe I’d go back… Good Greek wraps

If I had to pick one word to describe this spot, it would be: CONSISTENT. Their food is consistently good. Their freshly squeezed orange juice(recommended) is consistently good. Their service is consistently good. Even their line out the door is consistent. They have a lot of options on their menu which is typical of any diner menu. Of the things I’ve tried, this is how I would rate them. Banana nut muffin(toasted w/butter) 5⁄5 Prosciutto panini 4⁄5 Chocolate chip pancakes 4⁄5 Chicken noodle soup 3⁄5 Orange juice 5⁄5 Their home fries are just the way I like it. Golden brown with that expected crunch on the outside. Bacon is nice and crispy, again, just the way I like it. The only thing that might be confusing is that there isn’t a hostess to take down a name. You basically just wait in line. So if you see people waiting outside, have the courtesy to ask whether they’re online waiting first before you walk in. Plus, it isn’t the biggest place so forget about showing up with a party of more than 6. And if you do, expect to be separated.

I came to Pegasus for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was crowded, but we got a table right away. I ordered a latte and it was great. My friend had a coffee and their coffee was really good as well. We both ordered an omelet with feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and spinach. We had turkey bacon on the side. The food was really good. The service was also pretty good. I would say this is definitely one of the better diners and I will definitely return for breakfast.

Best diner in Bay Ridge hands down! Yea, it’s on the smaller side and yea you might have to wait a bit to get a seat, but what would you rather? Being seated quickly and being served awful food, or waiting a little while for something awesome? I’m going with the latter, and that’s why I will always come back here. The homestyle French Toast is awesome, so are their pancakes and home fries. The fresh squeezed orange juice here is a must too. They also deliver– and their delivery is quite fast :)

After a long bike ride from the city to Bay Ridge, my friend suggested we meet at this place for brunch. It looks like a small, standard diner, but I think their food is a lot better and higher quality. The menu is very large and diner-like in the sense that you can get almost anything you want from a typical breakfast/lunch spot. The place was pretty packed when we walked in, but we luckily didn’t have to wait for a table. The service was quick and attentive, especially since we kept needing a refill for water. The prices for the amount of food you get is incredible and the food hits the spot. It’s no thrills or anything but you know what you’re getting. I had scrambled eggs with pepper and onions with a croissant. The eggs were good and the croissant was on point — warm and flaky. Overall solid, low key, solid brunch spot.
