Panama is the man! He is not only the friendliest barber I’ve ever been too(makes you feel like family), but he is also the best! As a light skinned black man, I always thought it was normal to get really red and have cuts from the razor! All my previous barbers, left my hairline feeling a bit sore! But with Panama, I never even feel the razor and never have redness/cuts after haircut is done. I currently moved from Brooklyn to NJ, but I still travel to Brooklyn to get my haircut from Panama because he is just that good! Also he cuts all types of hair… I’ve seen Indian, black, white, spanish, asian, bald, old, young, men, woman(short hair)… he is a true master of his craft…

As for me, there’s an old saying that goes like this; «the 1st impression is the most important impression» I recently moved to Brooklyn, and I am in the mission of finding a barbershop that can be nice in personality and affordable. Yesterday(3÷31÷2014) I decided to go to Panama barber shop just to explore and find out the price. There was one man, in which I did not know his name but he looked at me with an attitude problem as if he was angry with the whole world. I sat on his chair and I asked him for a high and tight skin fade with a razor(military style) and with his attitude he told me that he does not do those types of haircuts and who Did I think he was? Just because of that, I would never go to that Barbershop again. And as far as prices goes, I would normally get my haircut for only 10 dollars, and 13 for trimming of beards/gotees and eye brows.

New school cuts and trends. Old school scissors and straight edges and clippers. Panama and company are professionals that offer a true community feel. This is not your hipster barber shop. It’s real people with real talk. Traditional mens barber shop — offer hair-cuts, fades, tapers, facial trimmings etc… but I’ve seen versatility for many women as well. People stop by just to say hello!

Great, no-frills haircuts with a friendly staff and really quick turnaround times. Also, it doesn’t hurt that all cuts are under $ 15, much less than any other place just a few blocks north.

I love these guys. They are very hospitable and make you welcome when you enter. They also cut all types of hair and do all types of hair cuts including razor line ups. P is my official barber and owner of the shop and he is great. My line up is always crisp when I leave there. He’s able to accommodate my different moods of haircuts from light cesar to dark cesar to temple fades. He does it all.
