Pampering Under 1 Roof

Overall I decided on a four after really debating with myself about giving a 5 but let give the break…
Services received– blow out, deep condition, trim, Mani, Pedi.
I must say customer service was definitely a 5 all round. Temara and new stylist Orie went out of their way to make sure I was okay and gave good advice on hair care and nail care. Also there was a price mix up which was handled discretely and professionally.
Quality of service a 4.5, not for any fault of the professionals that they missed a 0.5 in this area. I believe the products are at fault here. The top coat brush used on mani Pedi left an unpolished look. She did redo some to make sure I left looking great but still there was that rough top look. My hair also was frizzy, again I think it was the products used.
Wait time was a 4, I really did not mind the wait because i was getting alot done but it was tad much. Arrived at 915 left around 315.
Look and feel of facility was a 4, i personally didn’t like the pedi setup but that’s me really being picky. It worked — got the job done.
This place feels homey and comfortable. Comfortable because the staff is very easy to talk with and even other clients in the facility.
It’s after 2am and this review is not as detailed as i planned on but button line — will definitely be back and will also be recommending this place to my friends. loo

Really enjoyed my first visit! Everyone was very attentive and offered there own opinions which helped me since I’m very indecisive. I’ll definitely will be come back. I would give it 5 stars but even though the young lady was nice who the owner left in charge to do my color, she was definitely a novice and the colors weren’t so smooth. But the owner came back and cleaned it up nicely. I recommend coming in and getting a pedi with some wine

Great service and very good people, I felt at home and at ease knowing I was taken care of! I loved my eyebrows and nails! Next I will be getting my hair done and I can’t wait!

Oh please, I never received any coupons and they don’t even have gift cards. My son is 4, but sits nicely to get his hair done, all he does is frown. My daughter was 1 and when she cried I took her for a walk and brought her back sleeping… she never kicked n screamed.
Not looking to rant, just stating facts. Nothing in my post is a lie, but I can’t say the same abt Tamara’s lengthy response. If your business is a good as you say it is, then you don’t need to write a novel to defend it.

I was in need of a quick manicure for an event later that day. Searching for a salon that opens early on Unilocal,I came across this spot (most open at 10, they open at 9a). Just my luck, she was closed because a production company was using her space to film a video. However Tamara, the owner, was so accommodating, she moved the manicure station outside and I had the privilege of getting my nails done al fresco (the gorgeous fall weather made it even better!) she was quick, personable, and good. I will be back!

Tamara, the owner, is the sweetest !! My nails look fabulous and I couldn’t ask for more. If you want to walk out more beautiful than when you came in… I suggest coming here

The place is the real deal! Tamara the owner is always warm and welcoming. Anijah has my locs looking right!!! And folks are raving about Toni’s nail designs. Best of all, it’s affordable and they never leave their clients waiting. Did I mention there’s wine?!

Toni Renee the new nail tech was great. I got a pedicure from her & the massage was perfect. Very conscientious & welcoming!

Had a lovely experience here. I went in for a mani/​pedi after reading the reviews. Amira (sp?) Was so very welcoming, warm, and meticulous. Every one in the shop was sweet as anything and were focused on good customer service and gaining more regular customers. Shop is quaint and clean. Also, there was no feeling of being «rushed out» for me. Amira really took her time. I’m just sorry I don’t live closer!

Came here today for the first time and was happy to see the salon was celebrating Pride! Snacks and drinks were served. Service was fantastic! This was my first-​ever pedicure and El made me feel very comfortable.

Tamara is fantastic! I recently moved to NYC from LA and have had horrible experiences with acrylics here. Tamara did a flawless job with my nails and pedicure as well.
She has a cabinet system for your very own utensils (that she provides) so you aren’t sharing utensils with others during your pedicures. Amazing!
Complimentary wine between 3 – 6 which is such a nice touch.
I’m so happy with my nails — I will be coming back to see her every two weeks!

I called to ask about a mani pedi and a staff member said it would cost 25 with gel. By the time everything was done it cost $ 48, without tip. I couldn’t not tip a pregnant person even though she did a bad job by quite a bit of space between the nail bed and cuticle.
The owner Tamara is nice s with her preggo self. She gave me free wine and made me feel super welcome. She did my gel manicure herself. It was weird to have the owner help me rather than The staff, who were pretty slow and unattentive.
I had originally waited over 50 minutes for my nails to get done bc the owner was out getting bleach for a client who was getting her hair died blonde. The two other staff members were putting finishing touches on clients for the entirety of my wait so that was fun. So having wine was the only thing that kept me to stay. As I got my nails done I watched them completely ruin this girls head of brown hair, and even though she asked for 3 different colors, I don’t think she wanted to look like a cosmopolitan cake with three chunky colors that didn’t even blend together.
There is no sense for me to pay the price I did for a nail job that I can get for cheaper and better quality, period.

I read the previous reviews and this is why I came to this nail salon. I should have walked out after walking in. I did not feel welcomed in the slightest. There were two women who almost tossed up who wanted to do my nails. I asked about a pedi. Was told yes they could do that. When the girl doing my nails suggested the other commence my pedi she was too busy doing her own nails. The job is only just OK. I will not go here again. They had a limited choice of colors and were not the cleanest. After one nail was done I commented that maybe I should have chosen a darker color. This was after the girl kept saying how light it was. My nails are stuck to the skin underneath and my cuticles have gel mail polish over them. Bad experience.

The ladies in this shop are sweethearts. The owner and her crew made my mom, daughter and I feel so welcomed. Nice clean, quiet shop that makes you feel like you’re one of the family. I’ll be seeing these girls again in three weeks!!!

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon! The owner Tamara is super sweet and does an amazing job on manicures and pedicures. I highly recommend coming here to truly be pampered.

I adore this salon. All the girls are super friendly and Tamara the owner did a full set on my nails which lasted for a month. I’ll keep coming back for sure!

I went this morning to get my toes done, I was told it open at 9

Started my pedi, he did a good job, It was shocking to know he actually
do pedi, the owner came in and she polished and did a design on my two
big toes, they was so beautiful… I was going to sit and let them dry when I
Messed up both of my big toes, she did them over for me and didn’t charge me, I thought that was real sweet of her because most people would charge, because it was my fault… the owner is very nice and welcoming, I would definitely go there again

I absolutely love this place.
The owner, Tamara, was extremely welcoming and friendly as I entered the shop for the first time. She let me know that they were new to the neighborhood, offered me a seat and asked me what I would like done.
My first visit, I just got a line-​up ($ 15) and a pedicure ($ 20). The line-​up, done by Rose, was extremely friendly and listened to what I wanted. It came out wonderfully. Tamara herself did my pedicure and actually gave me callus removal at no-​charge for being a new customer (normally $ 5 extra) and my feet couldn’t help but thank her, as she helped to eliminate something that had been bothering me for years.
I’ve had other services done here as well, including manicures and hair color. All of the staff are confident, excellent technical skills, and offer BEYOND competitive prices compared to the surrounding area. I definitely think this is an up and coming shop to watch out for.
