The proprietor of this shop, Mr. Orlander, is the most knowledgeable kosher wine retailer I know in Brooklyn. That’s probably because he’s an avid wine fan & connoisseur himself.
This shop offers a good & varied selection of kosher wines, usually more expensively than Tops & often less expensively than Liquors Galore.
As Mr. Orlander knows his stuff so well, he finds bargain-​basement lots at low prices due to labeling errors & other incidents that have no impact on the nature or quality of the wine itself.
When this shop offers wines at discounted prices, you can be sure they’ll be perfectly drinkable. And if/​when you want a suggestion of a wine that would go particularly well with a certain dish, Mr. Orlander will give an honest & knowledgeable recommendation, or more likely multiple recommendations across a range of prices. He provides added value as well as wine for your money.
This shop closes for Shabbos & all Jewish festivals on which work is verboten.
