Very bad service. I said hey! and the girl serving just looked at me blankly in silence. Whatever, I guess. It makes me wonder how some people even have a job in this industry. Anyway, I got the General Tso sub(seitan, avocado and grilled shallots(which I couldn’t really taste). The seitan was nice, but the avocado was barely ripe. It did hit the spot though as I was very hungry. The iced coffee was good. Good, but i’ve had better.

Had the Dan Smith and the Karate Kid half subs. Both very tasty but when you consider the size of the hero, a bit pricey. The black bean humus on the Dan Smith was a quite good. Nice accompaniment.

I appreciated the General Tso’s seitan sandwich that I ate today. I paid a lot for something, so I was glad that it was tasty and unique. The bill would have stung harder if I just got a turkey and cheese that I could buy from any deli for half the price and nearly double the size. It’s been said enough about this place, but it’s too expensive and probably not worth it. $ 15 for chips and sandwich. Old story. I also asked for a cup of water, and they told me they only served bottled. Not surprised…

Terrible amount of food for the price! Can use a lot more of everything on each sandwich.

Needed something quick and portable so I could grab a seat on the pier before sunset. This place definitely provided that. However, the sandwich had limited ingredients and so I was eating mostly bread. For the price, I would expect additional ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes, etc. a large sandwich and a bottle of water was over $ 14.

Way over priced and the quality and size of the sandwiches was awful. Look for better options in the area.

Would recommend pre-made gas station sandwiches over this place. Ordered what was described as a tasty sandwich and received a puffy piece of white bread with a slice of sandwich meat and some goo-sauce on it. Bread to ingredient ratio was about 95% bread — 5% meat and goo-sauce and 100% crushed dreams. I also had a ginger lemonade, I usually enjoy ginger lemonade but this lemonade tastes like someone had accidentally mistaken another kind of root for the ginger. It tasted like someone spilled lemonade on the base of a tree, and then I licked it. There was a shake shack across the street and I was debating if I wanted to go there or try something new, I decided to try something new, bad choice. The only things I gained from this extremely overpriced and disappointing meal was a cup to use for water and hunger pangs. I thought maybe a $ 12 sandwich would have more substance than a blueberry… I just saw the picture of other peoples sandwiches here on Unilocal… Either they were uploaded by the owner, or they were out of ingredients today. Our sandwiches didn’t have even 1⁄5 of what the picture shows, I wish I had snapped a pic of mine but it only took me about 4 seconds to eat it because it was so small and I didn’t think of it in time. I asked for my money back and they guy did refund the price of our sandwiches without any hassle. Thank you for your understanding!

A kind of expensive Meh sandwich. My Karate kid lacked texture. Everything including the taste was soft. I wish the bun was toasted or maybe offered in a wrap. I do like the fact that you can make your own sandwich from their limited selection of ingredients. More protein choices and flavor varieties would be great, like a spicy option. I know it’s a small place with limited resources which is why I can’t totally slam it. The pork was cooked well and the service is nice so I can’t complain there. The DUMBO location has a great spot to sit and eat outside on a nice warm day. Just maybe tweak the menu a teeny bit.

I got the Karate Kid– not great. In the 30 seconds it took me to walk from the window to a table, the sandwich got super soggy and sloppy. It was a mess to eat and not terribly distinctive in terms of flavor. I’ve got to No 7 on a couple occasions(both this location and the original Ace Hotel location) and the result is always a resounding, «Meh.» The sandwiches are interesting on paper, but that usually hasn’t proven to the case in real life. Plus side: they have Zapps VooDoo chips.

Well… I’ve had better sandwiches at less expensive places. I guess I expected a much better product from a location as fortunate Old Fulton St. The sandwich(pork and turkey) was good and tasty but was $ 7.00 for ½ a sandwich, and quite bluntly a small sandwich. I guess it is good for a quick snack. Place is situated in a great location… few tables to stand and enjoy your snack. I would most likely give this place another try, but with the variety of things in the area, they may have to step it up soon.

The meat in the Karate Kid was moist enough. It’s hard to give a rating based off of one moderately-sized $ 12 sandwich, but I just did, and it felt okay.

The location — outdoor right next to Brooklyn Bridge Park. Outdoor seating? check. $ 13 sandwich? Wait, what? I’ve had gourmet sandwiches in Brooklyn that cost $ 9.50 or $ 10, and they were worth it. No. 7 Subs is way overpriced for what they serve and isn’t worth your time. If you decide to go anyway… know the following: The«giardinia» olive jalepeño mix that comes on the goodfella sandwich is said to be already mixed together and they can’t take out the jals. But when we got the sandwich, it’s basically as if they were placed on individually and easily removed. The iced green tea they serve is in a can for $ 3 — don’t expect a cup of actual green tea with ice. Would have rather just gotten a bottle of water. If I were you, take the extra 15 steps around the back of the building and just go for the Lobster rolls at Luke’s — your money will be better spent and you’ll enjoy it more.

The sandwich was decent, I got the Goodfella. Ample meat and good bread. But there is no way it was worth $ 13, prime location or not.

Had a Goodfellas and a Brocolli sandwich with my wife while watching the sunset under Brooklyn Bridge. Wonderful view and wonderful taste! Pretty sure this will become our go-to sub place.

This location of No. 7 Subs is situated literally right under the Brooklyn Bridge. I came on a beautiful weekday, perfect for park perusing and outside eating. BF and I came on a HowAboutWe deal and got 2 make-your-own sandwiches, 2 drinks, bag of chips and a cookie(outsourced locally). Their payment system was not working that day, making orders quite difficult and the employee there for the day quite stressed. ME: turkey + jalapeño mayo + pickles + wasabi grape nuts + muenster cheese HIM: turkey + black bean hummus + lettuce/onions + bbq potato chips + mozzarella cheese His sandwich was way better than my sandwich. For sure. The wasabi grape nuts — not sure if they even made a difference in my sandwich because there was no crunch or flavor. Not a fan of the jalapeño mayo either. Pickles are delish. HIS sandwich though, that black bean hummus is on point! I feel like lettuce and tomatoes should be a staple in every sandwich and it’s a bummer that it’s a choice. Definitely choose the potato chips — added great flavor and crunch to the sandwich. Also, I don’t think I’d add the $ 2 cheese — it was just too much cheese. VOODOOCHIPS! These are expensive sandwiches, but you can’t really beat the location. I wonder how much their rent is.

Found this place while wandering around looking for a good shot of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was delicious and not overly expensive for NYC. I made my own sandwich which was Turkey and muenster with Chinese mustard roasted onions and fried garlic. It was very good and the only downfall was that I expected more crunch from the fried garlic since it was in the crunch category. It was a really nice resting spot with cute tables out front to seat and eat your lunch under the Brooklyn Bridge. Another positive is there is a completely different seafood shop connected to the back if your group doesn’t want the same thing. A really great find in my book!
