History

Established in 2010.

Nippy Lavern Fashions was founded by Jessica Tiffany Martin also known as «Nippy» on March 31, 2010. Our vision: to create a leading brand for women’s clothing with a couture high fashion style and a unique flair. Nippy Lavern Fashions was named after an extraordinary young woman name Darlene «Nippy Lavern» Taylor, Martin’s aunt, who was killed in a car accident by a Drunk Driver at only 22 years old in 1988. In remembrance of her, the founding date of our company is on her birthday.

Nippy Lavern intends to establish a scholarship program in Darlene Lavern Taylor’s name and to conduct additional fundraising efforts for the Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Foundation (which helped the Taylor family get through the terrible tragedy.)

Nippy Lavern Fashions was founded by Jessica Tiffany Martin also known as «Nippy» on March 31, 2010. Her vision: to create a leading brand for women’s clothing with a couture high fashion style and a unique flair. Jessica is a college graduate with her Bachelor’s Degree and a self taught Fashion Designer, who taught herself to sew while in her college dorm room. She opened Nippy Lavern Fashions Boutique at the age of 22 after only 2 months of graduating college.
