First of all, +5 stars for selling cars with very reasonable price & taking credit cards. For any auto dealers that accept credit cards (even with fee, which they charge), I will start the review with 5 stars in the beginning.
–2 stars for not allowing pre-​purchase inspection. For any amount, purchasing car is a big decision. Whether you can afford $ 3k, $ 7k or $ 10k, it’s not an easy sum to throw around for most people.
Took a look around the car and it looked fine to me. Had some rust here and there, but that’s to be expected for the car’s age. OK — there’s battery leak, but again, that’s fine. I was going to change the battery out anyways… OK, I liked the price & I liked the fact that they took credit card (despite the fee which I was required to pay…) since I had to meet my $ 10k spending requirement on the American Express to get bonus Membership Rewards points.(ok, I am digressing).
As soon as I mentioned «I would like to take this car to one of those auto shops down the block for a pre-​purchase inspection,» things changed to «I don’t usually allow that» «you are free to look here but not over there» but finally «ok, we can arrange something, but you won’t get any warranty» and «we are offering you warranty. Why do you want to waste money to get it inspected?» I don’t know. Perhaps I don’t want to be stuck with a car w/​a blown gasket six months down the road?
Until this point, I was ready to buy (…and get the bonus AMEX points…), but I don’t know. This was THE first time I had trouble asking for a pre-​purchase inspection…
Perhaps the owner had a difficulties in the past when people took for a pre-​purchase inspection, but from my perspective, especially given that I am not a mechanic, I just couldn’t make a purchase without having an independent third party (who is more competent that I am) looking over.
Perhaps they offer fabulous warranty. That, I couldn’t check out since I didn’t end up buying.
Perhaps some people are ok with relying on the warranty… But, for me, without such inspection, I wouldn’t be comfortable with making a major purchase. That’s just me.

Update — After contacting the dealer, David was able to work with us and give us a refund. While it is unfortunate that the time spent taking the car to shop multiple times/​cost of the repairs can’t be erased, I appreciate that David and NCFU did the right thing.

Ignore «deposit» and focus on ethics. The Saab you agreed to sell me Feb 24, and falsely claimed it sold Feb25, remains for sale as of March 18 and has not been re-​registered to any new owner. David apparently has time to respond to critical reviews, but unable to call a buyer with cash.

Just sold my car to NEXT CAR FOR YOU. David was very nice and flexible. They are really honest, and you don’t feel like you’re getting played for your money like at other dealerships.
I highly recommend this place if you’re someone who appreciates reliable service and good prices.

I purchased my «backup car» in August of 2012 and I still haven’t had a problem. They are a «no-​games» business and even refused to lower the price when offering to pay in cash. I liked that. Their price was 15% lower than any other in the city. They were not pushy, but knowledgable and professional. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was that during dusk, the mosquitos come out to feast (in the summer). So if you wear long pants, you should be fine.

There’s only one other review on Unilocal for this place, and take note that the reviewer never actually bought a car there, and is kind of basing his/​her review on trivial things like whether google maps locates them accurately, or whatever. Who cares?
My wife and I just bought a car here. Our experience has been overwhelmingly good, both with the customer service and with the car. Today the check engine light on our new used car came on. I brought the car back in, and they repaired the (very minor) problem without hesitation.
During the buying process, which took us three separate visits and a trip to a third party mechanic, they were knowledgeable and thorough, spent a lot of time with us, and were honest about the pros and cons of the cars we were interested in.
Look, buying a used car is no picnic. For our budget (under $ 5K), you’re inevitably going to get a car with some issues, but the goal is to avoid buying a complete lemon. We found an excellent car at a great price, and it was a pleasure doing business with Tomas and David.
Yes, the place is small, a bit off the beaten path, and the lot itself is rough around the edges. This is a mom and pop business, and it’s a decent one. On the other hand, some of the bigger, more «serious» used car lots (eg Major World in Queens) are a complete nightmare.
PS, how awesome is the name, Next Car 4 U? You can’t hate on that.

(short URL link). The business deals in used car, but stay away they are a not a serious business ad have mostly junk. The few cars that may be viable are usually overpriced and can be found at more serious dealers in the tristate area for similar or lower prices and in much better conditions.
Can’t personally say anything else about how they handle process, warranties, etc. since they do not respond to emails, they won’t work with you on the phone (hence requiring you to waste time and find out that most cars are junk-​yard grade ones.
The owner seems to never be around and the two pumped-​up dummies who look like the two guys from «right said Fred» (so much that I was expecting them to start singing «I am too sexy for my car…» at any moment) were completely useless and when presented straight forward and simple questions responded with lies that not even a 5 years old would dare say.
A quick example… Q:“How long have you had this car here in the lot?”, A: «We don’t keep cars more than 2 weeks». Now I do not doubt people without a reason (even a used car salesman) before having facts at hand, unfortunately here one could cut through the BS with no knife.
Just a glance at the front wheel where a colony of spiders had been able to build their spiderwebs completely undisturbed would have been enough to deduce the guy was full of it, but what was really screaming «liar!» were the disk brakes behind those spiderwebs which were completely rusted hence making it evident the cars had been sitting there for months.
Also do not believe about them accepting trade ins. This place could be a circus for the clownish way they conduct business.
I am not going to go further and offer more examples to prove this business is real shady an buying there could be not just a rip off, but could be very dangerous as the conditions of the cars they sell are less than ideal in most cases.
Stay away an look elsewhere if are in the market for a used car.
