New Spa Me

The Groupon for the dehydrated skin facial is totally worth it. Left my skin so soft and clear for days! They even managed to remove this old blemish I had for months. I likely would not pay the actual price for the facial though, but that’s just me. I’m not willing to spend that much on facials. Buy the Groupon and check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Love Wendy! I first came her on a groupon. I loved it so much that I bought a package for 5 facials. Very professional staff. Clean and relaxing atmosphere.

I went to this spa because it was highly recommended to me by my friend… and I was not disappointed! When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the staff. I told them that I needed a facial but didn’t know what kind of facial I should get because not only do i have really bad acne but also very sensitive skin but they took one look at my face and knew exactly what i needed. The room in which I had my facial done in was absolutely gorgeous usually you’d be expected to be staring up at a blank ceiling but instead of that, they had this beautiful satin sheet that covered the ceiling. The facial and massage was mind blowing in a very relaxing way and I defiantly will be coming back.
PS. I had this facial last week and since then I’ve noticed that my skin has become smoother and blackhead free. My acne has also gone down and doesn’t look as dark as it was before.

I just want to share that by coincidence I was at Spa Me when the Unilocal user, Israa made a visit. Israa posted her review on 6÷1÷2015. Lucky I was there to witness everything. Her review is completely UNTRUE. While I was having my massage and facial, Israa was in the adjacent room and she never made any complaints to the girls doing the waxing. She only mention to the girls that she had very sensitive skin and she needed lots of baby powder. If you have sensitive skin, you SHOULD NOT be waxing in the first place. After the service was performed, she complained to the store manager, Wendy. When Wendy asked her if she (Israa) can show her the rashes she claimed she had, she (Israa) refused. Wendy apologized anyway and gave Israa the waxing as a freebie and did not charge her a dime. I do not understand why she said it was a waste of money in the review. Come on, you already got a freebie and you even want to make a lie about that!
I also want to clarify that I am not in any way affiliated with Spa Me. I’m just a regular customer who wants to provide justice for the business and point out that racial discrimination is not tolerated in my dictionary.
Just on a side note, if you check out Israa’s reviews, 11 out of 17 reviews that she gave have ONLY one star. Something just does not sound right about this person.

So I read all the great comments below thinking hey this is a great spa. I live in queens but I work in Brooklyn I can pay a visit after work won’t hurt. So I called to make an appointment to get full legs waxed and maybe my arms too. the person who answered the phone barley spoke any English. Long story short she was like what time do u want to come i said after 5pm and she was like okay. Maybe if we had time we can do the arms. So I asked her what time do you guys close she said 8pm. I totally ignored that part. Because in my head I am thinking the most she can take is an hour so that’s 6pm and they close at 8pm so they have time. Whatever I go in the girl who is going to wax me introduced her self her name is pink. I guess that’s not her real name but whatever. Anyways the place is ok, I been to better ones. But that’s beside the point, the GIRL DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO WAX… From 5:00pm-5:30pm she is doing my lower half in small cloth that is used not for legs, it’s used for chin. So I am pissed off already because I had to ask her before she even start to put baby powder!!! She was going to put the HOT WAX WITH NO POWER!!! Anyways after that another girl opens the door with out knocking and I am half naked she said she will take care of you. I have to go pick up my son. I said okay I understand after that I am human too!!! But at least knock first I am trying to be comfortable with the first girl and now I got a new girl. Anyways she was worst. She doesn’t know how to WAX she doesn’t even know how to apply the wax she applied the wax in different directions which it was painful because she is pulling my hair with it. I started to bleed so I was beyond mad I said thank you I’ll stop here. My legs were burning, I had rashes all over the wax was dirty and CHEAP!!! I been to better places just happen that I wanted to try something near work. So I told the manger the girls both sucked they don’t know to wax!!! She either understood my English or she didn’t. But anyways THIS PLACE SUCKS FOR WAXING!!! They can barley say the word WAX!!! Waste of time and money! I posted the picture!!! My skin is irritated! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I love this spa for all my facials. The services and atmosphere are great. I would recommend this place, definitely to anyone.

I got a moisturizing facial deal from Groupon for $ 29 today and decided to treat myself. The salon is beautiful and clean, plays relaxing music, and got its feng shui on point. I fell asleep for my diamond facial, and came out feeling like a million bucks. You will never feel rushed, and this place is CLEAN, the ambiance is on point, and if I still lived in Brooklyn, it would be my Holy Grail location for facials. Try it!

This is my go-​to place for facials. They take their time and it’s always a really relaxing experience, especially the extractions. Not easy to get good extractions these days.
The staff is sweet. I found this place via a Groupon and now I am a member! I haven’t tried any of the other services but I plan on it this weekend.

I bought a 60 min dehydrated facial and left pleasantly relaxed. The atmosphere is very relaxing with light music and dimmed lighting. The masseuse was very accommodating asking if I was comfortable throughout the session. She was very attentive and very friendly. Overall enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this location and Lee!

they did a excellent job on my massage and facial. they were able extract my acne successfully. and a job well done by the professionalism.

If I could go here every day I would ! Words can not describe how amazing this place is. Every facial therapist is great!!!

I LOVE JENNY!
First heard about this place through Groupon. Got an hour massage and 40 minute mini facial for 60 $. Jenny is the girl to go to. Just the right pressure, hits the right spot EVERY time. She knows I like it firm and HARD baby! I was given the chance to repurchase the same deal — groupon priced. I think I’ve repurchased about 10 times already. Jenny commented that I run through them quick. Oops? Can’t get enough of her awesome rub down, especially when work has got me slaving away. Atmosphere is nice with dim lights, nice décor and relaxing music. I just can’t get enough! I’d go everyday if I was a millionaire, but for now, once a month would suffice. I love you Jenny!

I got a groupon deal for a massage/​facial two times but my experience there was not the best at both times.
Their massages was just light rubbing which did make me feel relaxed and made me want to fall asleep. It wasn’t bad but I just prefer the hard kind of massages. The facial was literally just wash, mask, and wash. They just leave you with the mask on and you either just daydream or fall asleep.
Interior:
The inside looks amazing. It has the «spa» feel to it and the rooms are kept very clean and neat. Has like the ancient-​asian music playing that makes you feel relaxed and dim lights in the room.
Staff:
The ladies here are very nice. They brought me a cup of tea when I first came in and made small talk like, «how are you doing?» And etc.
What I didn’t like was their constant reminder for tax and tip. At the end I paid $ 20 for the tax and the remainder for tip, which I did not think was bad but the lady told me she needed tip like it wasn’t enough. Maybe I am a bit sensitive but I felt insulted in a way.
I knows spas usually try to sell their peoducts and service packages at the end and I always say no, whether I come back or not. But I felt like the staff was a bit cold to me after I said no to the purchase…
The massage/​facial was decent. There wasn’t anything special in my opinion and the staff was generally nice. But I won’t be going there again.

$ 29 Groupon deal for a facial under $ 85 bucks. This could’ve been a really bad idea. Last time I picked up one of these deals for a different spa, I came out with red blemishes all over my face that didn’t heal for a week.
First of all, this is not your average Chinese owned spa. It’s nicely decorated, it’s clean but yet they’re able to keep the dirt cheap prices Asian spas are known for.
My esthetician was Tina and she was great. I hate how some places cut short facials or leave you there forever in masks but the entire time I was laying on her table her hands were massaging my face and gently pushing pressure points. Extractions always hurt like a mofo but she managed to get out all my blackheads without leaving 1 red scar on my face. She was a complete professional. I’ll be asking for her again next time.
I was so impressed with my facial that I bought a package right after. It was a steal because she let me keep the $ 30/​facial deal (minimum of 5 facials). They do charge tax if you’re paying with credit so keep that in mind.

A fantastic spa with perfect decorations and atmosphere. But no receptionist there, When I got there, no matter how many times I shouted, nobody replied me until an esthetician finished her client after I came in 15 mins. However, I went there for the PH Hydration Facial which indicated 75 mins on website, we got done whin 60 mins.
Wondering if I am just a groupon customer so that got a shorter time service or she just gave me a cheaper facial? Anyway, I paid $ 29 on groupon for up to $ 85 service,
but I wound say you get what you pay for, it is a good deal to get a facial within $ 30 and I will go back if they have the promotion again even just a basic facial not as same as they shown. But if ask me to pay the full price $ 85 to do that facial, not worth!

This is going to be long so bear with me.
I found this great deal on groupon: $ 29 for all facials less than $ 85 and $ 29 for microdermabrasion treatment. I called Spa Me on Friday and inquired about an appointment and the pleasant woman (Aida) gave me a 12 noon appointment for the following day! Awesome.
I went back to
since I didn’t purchase the deal yet. To my surprise the deal was sold out. I called Aida back to inform her that I would have to cancel my appointment. Instead Aida agreed to give me the deal price WITHOUT Groupon, so I scheduled a facial and microdermbrasion for $ 29 each.
The next day was my appointment and I was running 10 minutes late due to slow drivers. I called Aida and told her that I was running late she said no problem. I arrived and I was the only customer. There were 2 ladies there, Aida and a non-​english speaking Asian women.
Aida asked if I needed to use the restroom and the other lady walked me down this long serene hallway {were there were 2 other rooms} that was filled with candles and waterfalls. I LOVED THIS. So relaxing. The only problem with the bathroom is that it didnot have a hook for my coat or hand lotion. (minor offense).
Ok I was ready to go. I was escorted into the first room right outside of the reception booth. This was unfortunate because the room did not have a ceiling so I could hear every conversation the receptionist had with other customers.
I was given a body towel and asked to undress from the top up. Also they don’t have cap for your hair; I will have to bring my own from now on. So the non-​speaking english lady wiped my face and applied some different creams to my face, washed it off, re-​applied, washed off, then she began using the microdermabrasion wand. I had to inquire what was this procedure since this wasnt like any other microdermabrasion that I previously had. {Apparently there are 2 types, one done on a wet face when crystals are applied than removed via a vaccum, second is done on a dry face and removes the dead skin cells}.
Because the non-​english speaking person didnt understand me she called for Aida. Aida addressed my concerns and about what was occurring and explained the difference between what I had previously and what I was receiving today. There was some confusion as it appeared that they were trying to combine both facials into one. {My young face is often a curse}. Then I informed Aida that the microdermabrasion treatment was 45 minutes. I guess Aida watched the lady remove the dead skin cells from my face and was not happy with her performance or she just wanted to make sure that I was satisfied so Aida took over the appointment.
Aida continued the microdermabrasion from the beginning to my face AND neck. she also showed me the dead skin cells. Told me I had really good skin and just a few open pores and recommended an exfoliator twice a week and a toner. She NEVER tried to sell me anything although I’m unsure if they sell products.
She continuously asked if I was ok, if i needed more blankets to keep warm. When she began the extractions I knew that I would return. Aida took her time and explored every open pore on my face. She was beyond thorough!!! I just hoped my face didnt look like a massacre when she was done because deep poor cleansing will leave your face looking horrified.
Aida ket me informed along the way about what she was going to do next. The only thing I would say that wasnt so hot was the facial massages. If she could practice this more she would be excellent. At the end of the facial, Aida placed some cream on my face followed by a cotton face mask, followed by some cold cream that sat on my face for 15 minutes. I loved this part!!!
I didn’t mention but I set my timer on my phone for 90 minutes to see if they would finish before the schedule time. When I was done it was 2pm. So with Aida I never felt rushed and she made up for what the other women was lacking in.
When I was done my face looked great!!! I was very impressed. I had the nice glow MINUS the massacre that accompanies deep pore cleansing.
Aida offered me a package of 6 facials/​microdermabrasions for the GROUPON PRICE!!! WTH how could I not buy this. She even offered that since I used 2 facials during this visit that I could either have 4 more facials remaining or I could decide to pay for the 2 facials separately thereby having the package of 6.
I opted for the former. I was so impressed by this pristine customer service that I would highly recommend Aida. I already made an appointment for my next facial in 3 wks for the new year!!! I highly recommend. If you’re a bit disappointed Aida will sense it and make it all better!!!
I would give it 5 stars but for the noise. Otherwise, This place is a Yay!

Spa Me is not a honest and professional business. I paid full price $ 135 ($ 70 Body Polish 55 mins and $ 75 Body Wrap w Mud 40 mins) but they don’t make it 95 mins. I was there earlier 10 mins before the appointment at 6:30 pm. When they got ready, it was at 6:50pm, and when everything is done, it was 7:55 pm. The total service is only 65 mins. I paid for 95 mins service. The lady’s name is Anna and usually in the front desk. They are just waiting for going home. I found they are closed at 8:00 pm. If they don’t have enough time to do the service. Why accept 6:30 pm appointment and was not ready to service, very unprofessional and dishonest way to do the business. Will not go there again and ever, and do not recommend to go.

I have been getting professional massages for many years, and used to work in spas. In fact, I had to recruit, interview, and evaluate massage therapists. I usually go to more upscale places. I tried this place to take advantage of a deal and last-​minute booking on a Sunday. I am so glad that I did.
I have to say that my liking of this place has everything to do with the massage therapist named Ada. Ada is talented. Not only does she have a very positive energy, but she nailed all of my problem spots without my having to say a word– very rare.
The ambiance of this place is nice, but not upscale. It’s priced very well, especially for their multi-​service packages. The walls are thin and don’t go all the way up, but they try to keep the noise down.
The eucalyptus mini-​facial that I get with my massages is relaxing and my skin feels very soft afterward — I will upgrade to the full facial next time, because they don’t include any extractions, which is typical for a 30-​minute facial.

Now, I’m not a spa guy, but I bought an AmazonLocal deal for microdermabrasion because I wanted to look presentable for a wedding. So take this entire review with a gigantic grain of salt because I didn’t know what to expect, and I don’t know if what I got was what I should have.
I was in the first room, there was a nice ambiance with some nonthreatening new age jazz playing. The woman who did the microdermabrasion was nice, if not a bit awkward (asking if it was OK to put things over my eyes after doing it, giving some weird pseudo-​massage on my shoulders, etc.). it seemed like the machine she was using kept turning off, and she had to turn it back on (it beeped very loudly, which wasn’t too relaxing). It wasn’t painful, nor was it lifechanging, but she did proudly show me all the dead skin she collected… thanks, I guess? She also kept trying to sell me on more add-​on services, but I kept declining.
It actually was longer than 45 minutes they promised, but I guess they weren’t bursting at the seams with customers either. Receptionist gives you an envelope for tips before you leave, which is a nice touch.

My girlfriends bought me a fantastic package spa day for my birthday. I had a full body massage, a body polish, a facial, and a mani/​pedi. Spa Me was clean and pretty. The staff was very friendly and I felt completely comfortable.
All of my services were great, except for the mani/​pedi. They don’t have an actual station for it, and my nails were painted in an awkward position in the front welcome area. The paint job was rather sloppy as she was hunched over and there was no table for me to place my nails/​feet on as she painted. They really shouldn’t offer this service if they don’t have the proper equipment.
Besides that, I would recommend this place to others as long as they weren’t planning to get their nails done. The Body Polish was my favorite part. My skin feels like butter.
