History

Established in 2013.

Xenia created Myths of Creation in homage to her obsession with looking at all everyday objects and experiences as expressions of culture, history and our biological nature.

Myths of Creation is the culmination of Xenia Viray’s experience with fashion as expression: her first first pair of lucite heels when she was twelve in Bucks County PA, her work as senior fashion writer for ZOOZOOM Magazine, and her whirlwind education in buying as the buyer of industry favorite shoe store TANI. Myths of Creation takes the experience of the stylist, the writer, the buyer and the working individualist to create a collection of goods that are inspired by like-minded women (and men!)

After opening a small pop-up in partnership with Dolly G’s Vintage, Myths of Creation saw a need for unique but wearable pieces at prices that work for the community of Graham Ave.

With her friends and family’s support, she opened (her flagship) boutique in late Sept 2014.

Meet the Business Owner

Xenia V.

Business Owner

Xenia Viray is a fiction writer, who often worked in the fashion (and still works in the service industry) to float her interests and businesses.

She has worked for Tani in the Upper West Side, ZOOZOOM Fashion Magazine, and is currently working on an art book with her creative partner in crime Michael O Shea.

Her space is the embodiment of all her desires for herself and others to feel empowered by clothing as self-expression and for her love of collecting in general.
