MySpace NYC

Applied officially and gave my near 2 grand deposited 18 days ago, on the 5^th of the month. despite the contract I signed stating the applicant should be notified within 2 — 3 business days. after 2 weeks of waiting to hear about the apartment, we decided to cut our losses and pull out of our offer and resubmit to a different apartment they showed us. this apartment is now taking a week+, 5 business days. still no word if we got the apartment. way over the estimated time of notification. if that wasn’t bad enough, the woman mary who works in the office who is supposed to keep me up to date with the status of my application won’t return my phone calls. I spoke to the manager, Michelle, about the problems we were having and she was very apologetic and said we are just having bad luck.
I think she might be right, these landlords are taking their time to respond. which is understandable and not their fault. but I don’t like how unresponsive myspace nyc is. for all I know they could just be taking my money and not trying at all. worst case scenario I could not get the apartment or my money in time for next months rent. they never offered me any kind of offer for this «unusual» situation. they seem pretty shady, and I don’t like that I have to go to such lengths to find out what is going on with the apartments.

Worked with Anthony Truzzolino to find the perfect spot for me and my roommate. We were forced to move due to a fire so we didn’t have the luxury of time. Even so, Anthony showed us a variety of places, helped negotiate with the landlord, and ultimately settled on a beautiful 2 bed in the perfect location. You can tell his interests were aligned with ours and everything worked out perfectly.

I stumbled upon MySpaceNYC because I did not want to pay a broker fee and I had to find an apartment in one weekend, as I was moving across country and didn’t have much time. I contacted MySpaceNYC and was referred to Kevin who referred me to an agent who would be available on the weekend.
I worked with Zen Goodlett. She was responsive, professional and in touch with what we were looking for. She did not deviate from what our budget was and helped us find a place in one weekend. I would highly recommend Zen.

Amazing!
Finding an apartment in Greenpoint/​Williamsburg is extremely difficult. But working with Sara and Kevin made it about as easy as it gets. My girlfriend and I worked with multiple agents from other agencies before myspace, and the difference was immediately apparent. We were able to sign a lease for an amazing apartment that was within budget and had everything we wanted and more within just a few days. We are thrilled, and really felt taken care of every step of the way.

I came across a MySpace NYC listing through Craigslist. I’m new to the market and was desperate for a pad. The agent I worked with, Zen, was immediately responsive and scheduled a time that worked. The whole process through she was just simply the best, so relaxed, cheerful and patient. She and the closing Manager, Mary, helped push my paperwork through very quickly. I saw and got the place in a matter of 5 days!
I’ve also seen about 9 apartments with this company in Crown Heights Brooklyn. The agents are always friendly and professional. The best part is that they listen to you. I’ve had some agents so keen to close a deal that they show you everything they have, even if none of them fit your specifications. That has not once happened while working through this company. I would definitely recommend them.
To sum it up, all in all my experience with the MySpace NYC team was… zen!

My realtor, Kevin Daly, was super responsive (he actually messaged me back immediately on a holiday) and easy to coordinate with. Luckily we loved and applied immediately for the first apartment he showed us, but he did a great job walking us through the apartment and the application/​leasing process. He was very up front, easy and fun to work with. He gave us honest advice and suggestions being a Brooklyn local, and I’d highly recommend Kevin if you’re looking for your next place in NYC! We’re super stoked with our new apartment.

I would give Kevin Daly one hundred stars if I could. He’s an all-​star! The original broker at MySpace that we were supposed to meet with couldn’t meet with us at our scheduled appointment time, and Kevin graciously stepped in and took over on extremely short notice. He had such a positive, professional, and relaxed attitude, and was never pushy. He patiently answered all of our questions, and was super responsive to all phone calls, text messages, and emails, even when they were sent late at night! There was a problem with our application, and he went to bat for us with the landlord and we were able to get the apartment. After we moved in, he even reached out to us to check up. I’m going to recommend Kevin to all of my friends, and I recommend that everyone out there does the same!
Mary Healing was also great to work with! She was really responsive and on top of everything, and was thorough in handling the process from us putting in our application to signing the lease and getting the keys (including graciously responding to emails long after her role was done). Overall, I had a great experience with MySpace NYC, and will definitely be using them for my next move.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life with real estate. These «brokers» convinced us on an apartment that wasn’t ready to be moved into, and I was homeless for two weeks between leases. Only after arguing to get into an unfinished building do I sit here still complaining about MySpace. The apartment that I moved into three months ago continues to be a problem and under renovations (that aren’t really happening). I reached out to MySpace to let them know and have heard zero response.
These are children with no real estate experience swindling young New Yorkers into below average living situations. «No fee» comes at quite the cost and I would advise anyone to steer clear.
Terrible management, awful experience, unfavorable living conditions.

Kevin is an incredible agent and went above and beyond for us. He took us throughout Brooklyn and showed us all the best places he knew about — places that were beautiful, clean, well-​kept, spacious, and affordable — told us about the areas, even gave a sort-​of guided tour as we drove around, telling us about his favorite stores, restaurants, bars, parks, cafés, and more. He took our feedback into consideration and adapted as we went on to narrow the search to the best applicable apartment. I will be referring everyone I know who is looking for apartments to Kevin from now on.

This is a review only of my experience working with Robert Pule. I did not end up renting an apartment from Robert, meaning I cannot speak to the ease or efficiency of applying through MySpace NYC (the company he represents), but working with Robert was an absolute pleasure.
The first day I contacted Robert about an apartment in Bed-​Stuy, he was able to schedule a meeting early the next morning. After the initial apartment was not to my liking, Robert gladly shuttled me around in his car to a number of alternatives in my price range. Naturally, I wanted to see as much as I could of what was out there, so I took a couple days to tour other properties with other agents. After not really coming across much that suited my fancy, I gave Robert a couple more specific parameters, and he met with me the next day to show me three or four more places which, to his credit, fit my narrower needs (price range and location especially) perfectly.
In the end, I stumbled upon an apartment listed by a different company that was simply too good to pass up, but, make no mistake, I would have loved to ultimately have rented through Robert. Throughout the whole process, we was incredibly attentive and responsive, took my needs to heart and adjusted accordingly, and really made me feel comfortable as I was attempting to navigate the often difficult New York rental scene.
If you want an agent who cares about your opinion and desires and can provide you with a bevy of solid rental options, I advise you to contact Mr. Robert Pule.

John Farina was super helpful. In fact, I only had to see two apartments before I found the exact one I wanted and John was very informative, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole thing. He was very thorough about making sure all the necessary paperwork was provided and that I knew exactly what was needed from me and when. He was very upfront about the whole process, which allowed me to do my part quickly.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a more seamless apartment hunt in my life!

What an incredibly easy experience! Dov was absolutely amazing. He was super accommodating — met me multiple times after hours to look at apartments and to sign the lease. The whole process was effortless and stress free. I would recommend Dov to anyone in search of a new place to call home. If there were more than five stars, I’d give them!

Kevin Daly was fantastic! He was clear, concise, upfront and didn’t beat around the bush, unlike so many other agents. He spent most of his day taking me and my best friend around in his car looking at multiple apartments. Even when we started to worry about the timing of his other appointments, he was cool and collected and wanted to make sure he made us feel secure in our apartment search. Later that day, we put a deposit down on an apartment he showed us. The apartment is wonderful, and he still checks in on us to make sure we’re still as happy as when we signed. Every time I move from now on, I only want to work with him. What a gent.

Heidi was the first (and only) broker I’ve ever dealt with that was actually pleasurable to deal with. She was incredibly prompt, helpful, and friendly each time we corresponded.
After having my plans drop through with other brokers that couldn’t be bothered to communicate with me, Heidi is a breath of fresh air. She’s the first broker I actually felt like deserved the fee, which ironically didn’t have to come out of my pocket!
She managed to show us a great location and have the wheels moving on getting moved in the same day. I already know where I’ll be directing friends and going to myself for my next move.

Anthony Amico was diligent, professional, and honest. He was very familiar with both the building and the neighborhood which was very helpful as newcomers to both. He was extremely accommodating with our schedules and truly seemed to want the best outcome for us above all.

I had just two weeks to find an affordable apartment in Brooklyn with my roommates and Erica Liss made it so simple and painless for us. We explained our situation and price range and she responded to us quickly with multiple different apartments that fit the bill. She was extremely professional, honest, and very responsive. She found us an absolutely beautiful apartment for a great price and we couldn’t be happier.
Additionally, the office staff was extremely helpful (we dealt with Subrina who was lovely) and explained all of the paperwork that we needed in order to move in. Using MySpace was a great decision for us!

Kevin Daly was so beyond helpful in our apartment search.
He responded immediately to our inquiry on Naked Apartments and our experience with him since has been the easiest and least stressful apartment searching experience I have ever had:
1. He was extremely knowledgable about the apartment, the building and the surrounding area.
2. He was flexible and patient with us amidst the chaos of our frantic decision making and last-​minute viewings.
3. He seemed trustworthy. It felt like he genuinely wanted to help us and find a fit that was right for us – Not a skeezy salesman who is just looking for the quick and easy sale.
4. The process was EASY. Kevin facilitated the completion of all of our paperwork with no complications.
Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We will be working with Kevin again next time around :)

Anthony Truzzolino was incredible. He didn’t stop till he found a place I loved in my budget and the area that I wanted to be in.
He is funny and kind, and seems most concerned with finding something that makes you happy rather than just cutting a deal. Anthony made finding an apartment a totally different experience than I have had in the past. He even checked up after we moved in to make sure everything went swimmingly!
Would highly recommend him!

Brian is AMAZING!
For no fee, he showed us a bunch of different spaces all within our budget with the characteristics we were looking for. We ended up taking the first apartment he showed us, and we LOVE it. Apartment hunting in NY can be a nightmare but Brian made it easy! He is also very attentive after-​hours!

I had a great experience using MySpace NYC, Period! Everything was laid out plain and simple in order to make our application process and move in as stress free as it can get in NYC. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin Daly! He was our agent and apart from being professional and showing us great apartments, was kind and personable. He will be with you every step of the way!
