Great, reasonably priced bar with a friendly staff and equally friendly patrons. Just a nice place to hang out. And if you show up at the right time, a free hot dog with every drink purchase. As expensive as food is in NYC, you can’t turn down a few free hot dogs. I will definitely drink here again.

Get a free hot dog with every drink you buy. There is also Trivia on Wednesdays. Come by on Sunday for the football games, especially if your a Packer Fan! Here is a cocktail I made for a customer today called the Rye Fizz.

Come for the free hot dogs, stay for the excellent beer selection and unpretentiously good cocktails. Or just hit the beer-and-shot special until everything feels better.

Moot Bar is awesome. It’s from the same guys behind Uncle Barry, which is one of my favorite neighborhood bars. Moot follows the same business model — beers, cocktails and trivia. Uncle Barry has better beer selection, but Moot has great cocktails. If Chaz is working the bar, ask him to whip you up something special. He made me a Sriracha, mezcal and St. Germain drink which was delicious. I put him on the spot, and it’s now called the Hot Cock. So order a Hot Cock. They also have a lot of standard cocktails, and I had a Sazarac variation that was good. He also made me their most popular drink, Rosemary’s 2nd Baby, a whiskey drink which of course, had rosemary in it. Also very good. The space is cool. There’s a dartboard by the door, a wide bar, and some table seating as well. Great place to have a low-key drink, or to get blacked out on a Thursday night and call in sick the next day. Not that I would do anything like that…

I liked this place. Small, not insanely crowded, good different beers. Tuesday’s you get a hot dog with your beer. I’ll be back for that!

Whenever I’m in Clinton Hill I swing by here for a beer or two. It’s a little divey, but in the good way. It’s got charm and personality, and is low-brow. The same can be said for the bartenders. They really know their beer and are fun to chat with. This is definitely my favorite bar on Myrtle.

Not really a fan of this place. Came here when it first opened and they had TVs and it was during the Golden Globes. They didn’t put it on after asking, and not to mention the bartender’s attitude was pretty rude. This place is small and looooooud… Why do I have to shout in an empty bar to talk to my friend? Nobody was even in the bar to warrant the loud music. I’d just go across the street for that.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. Laid back vibe. A great place to bring a date, meet for happy hour or birthday drinks. The bartenders are really friendly. Simple décor and the best giant corner window to sit and watch the foot traffic on Myrtle Ave. Great beers on tap and a few specialty cocktails make the menu understandable and simple. This bar is sure to become one of the most popular in the neighborhood for locals and regulars!

Chaz(guy behind the bar Monday nights) is THEBEST. This bar, although, immediately gives a very homey feeling. On the cozy side, in the BEST way possible. Great great neighborhood bar, even if that’s a 20 min walk from your apt… Well worth the trip for a down to earth bar. ;)

Went over to Moot Bar on a quiet Tuesday night and really enjoyed the space. It is a pretty intimate bar, with some open space near the front and a long wooden bar running along the left wall. In addition to a low-key and neighborhood friendly-vibe, this place has a fantastic beer list. Definitely recommend stopping in here for a pint on a cold winter day!
