Long term customer here, until one day they ruined a 200 dollar shirt. The shirt was one of the 20 items brought in for laundry and dry cleaning and was inspected by the owner herself when brought for service. The day I came to pick all the items up, the shirt had discoloration and obvious damage done either through incorrect handling or heat treatment. Went back to discuss with the owner the next day, she claimed that the shirt was already brought in damaged(though previously inspecting it) and didn’t offer any type of refund. Stay away from this place if you value your clothes!! Because one day they will ruin something you really like and will blame it on you, while not providing any reconciliation or neglecting a long term customer.

Monaco ls certainly the priciest cleaners in town. But the results are incredible. The shirts come out pressed and starched perfectly. The suits and pants are treated like British Royalty here. The downside to this place is 1) the staff and 2) the length of time it takes to get your stuff. The ladies that work there were plucked right out of The Nazi War Criminal Reunion and brought straight to work here. I spend 3 – 4 hundred dollars a month here and they still treat me this way, I’m scared to know how they«welcome» a true foreigner. In spite of being in the good graces of the Monaco hierarchy it’s still next to impossible to get your stuff done in 1 – 2 days, which at times is frustrating. I tried every place within 10 mile radius cuz I hate the«customer service» but like an abused spouse, I keep coming back for more. It’s just that damn good!

Monaco is definitely on the pricier side, however, you get what you pay for. I rarely bring my suits in to the dry cleaners, as that’s the surest way to shorten their lifespan, but when they get soiled. you’re left with a tough choice. So I composed myself, and brought 2 suits in. The turnaround was not great — brought in Monday and ready on Thursday. The results however were fantastic. The suits were cleaned exceptionally well and were equally well pressed. I was also very impressed by the packaging. The sleeves were filled with tissue paper to prevent creasing while in transit and in storage. Good thinking! Parking can be difficult in the morning, but can usually be found within close proximity on Nostrand Ave. Or… you can park illegally in front and dash in. :) Ohhh, and credit cards are accepted. a rarity for a Brooklyn dry cleaners.
