Mona Hair Salon

NO. DONT GO IN. i really never thought if you were just getting an eyebrow clean up you could go wrong. I was proved WRONG! She i guess was nice, but not really. She basically plucked my eyebrows and barely used the thread, ummm i do not want a plucking. She left SO many hairs behind you can barely tell i even had them done. I kept pointing out where the hairs were to clean them and she didnt even touch her thread, she kept plucking. Then there were still hairs there and she told me that was enough and she was done! you have got to be kidding me! and then she told me after my service she doesnt take credit cards, so i had to go to an ATM pay a fee and bring her money. I came back with my money and she said she had no change for my $ 20…HUH? so i had to go and break my $ 20 to pay for the crappy service and crappy eyebrow clean up. SO annoyed, never will go back… NEVER.

I really wanted to like this place. Mona was super sweet and attentive (earning 2 stars) but she rushed through my eyebrow threading, leaving more plucking for me when I got home. And on top of that, I paid $ 22 for lip and eyebrow threading. Meh, not so worth it.

i went with my mum & mona was on the phone & never got off the phone as my mum tried to tell her what she wanted. mona winked at me, so i thought she was listening, but in the end the hair dye job was sooooooooooooooo bad & mona stayed on the phone the whole time yelling in another language.

Good cuts and eyebrow threading… price is high though. Mona is very nice, a bit odd and kept shoving photo albums of hair shows that she has been to in my lap while giggling in my ear.
