Modell’s Sporting Goods Fulton II

The selection of cleats is absolutely abysmal.
The staff is of the ‘extremely angry if you ask them to do their job’ variety.
If you are in there for any longer than two minutes, you’re bound to hear the song that insists you’ve «Gotta Go to Mo’s.» I realize that this is all about branding, but I’m already in the damn store. You don’t have to convince me any more.
And that’s all I have to say about that.

Ahhhh modells! What more is there to say? Going to play ball with the homies and you dont have any shorts? Modells! Going snowboarding and dont have any waterproof paints? Modells! Need some workout gloves for the gym? Modells! Cant ever say they have stellar customer service but hey win some lose some!

I normally go to the Modells near my apartment, however today I was in downtown brooklyn. I decided to try this Modells out to exchange something I purchased at the location by my house. What a bad idea! Customer service is horrible!!! After finding what I needed to exchange I go up the the register. The girl (Susie) helping (not really helping just standing there with an attitude) was very rude throughout the entire exchange. To the point of irritation. Her behavior escalated throughout the time at the register and quickly turned my girlfriend and myself against ever returning to Modells. After finishing his horrible experience at the cash register, my girlfriend and I asked to speak to the manager, the cashier didn’t call the manager over or give his name only saying he manager has a black shirt on. After wandering around the store trying to find the manager, we finally found him. After explaining our frustration and horrible attitude and customer service from Susie the cashier. The young man who was the manager only said was «I’m sorry» and then continued to finish what he was working on.
If you MUST shop at Modells because there isn’t another fitness/​sporting good store around then NEVER come to this location. There are many many places online to buy everything at Modells and more, this is what we will be doing in the future. We will never be shopping at this Modells location or any other Modells location.

I can never understand this. Every time I pass the cash wrap, there is no line. Once I get the things I need and head back, a line magically appears. Then it takes an eternity for the one cashier to get through the line. I swear, it always happens.
Other than that, this place is ok. They have a good array of sporting and fitness goods.
