The supermarket is super clean and easy to navigate around. The seafood section looked really presentable and they had a variety of different shrimp and fish to choose from. Parking is a bit challenging but overall I think this might be my go to supermarket. They have a variety of healthier food options at a reasonable price. Sometimes it’s hard to find different brands of healthier types of foods and it was really pleasant to see about 2 or 3 aisles of gluten free options, dairy free, etc.

A pretty good neighborhood store. The produce is fresh and the variety is ample. Sales are what you might expect at other stores in the neighborhood. Always a plus when they carry a decent amount of ethnic products. And reasonably clean too.

Love this store, I live in Staten Island & Met fresh Bay ridge is my go to spot when it’s time to shop. I’ve been to food town, stop & shop, Keyfood and more and some how this store has stuff know one has ! I love it !! I am lucky to have such a nice and clean grocery store in my neighborhood. The staff is always friendly, lines are not long, and the selection is pretty good. They have an expanded organic produce selection and deli counter with prepared foods. Weekly specials always include good deals. I stopped ordering from FreshDirect and AmazonFresh to support my local grocer.

The pricing issue has been rectified. I am loving the carving station — great for when you don’t want to cook a large roast at home and just want a few slices of cooked meat. Grab some fresh chopped vegetables and you’re good to go!

The Deli in this place is the heart and soul imho and is the source of my review. The recent renovations have made this place a hit. They have daily fresh meats that they will slice up right in front of you hot out of the oven (pastrami, corn beef, roast pork, turkey, brisket, etc). The guy that runs the show, I think his name is Luis, does a fantastic job and is always super helpful and friendly. Their pizza ais pretty good but the chicken roll is one of the best in the area, especially at its price.
The supermarket is pretty good but you should do yourself a favor and be sure to check the expiration dates of some of the items. I have purchased a few beers from their new beer cave that were over 6 months expired and sure tasted like it. Other than that the selection is great and i love the added space.

This place has made some recent capital improvements that put it on par with a much bigger chain store. Really friendly people here and excellent products good prices and sale items make this my go to store still in Bay Ridge.

The people who work here are very friendly and I shop here often because it’s very conveniently located near my home. However, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION when they’re ringing up your purchases. I’ve caught them overcharging several times. When I pointed it out they quickly corrected it, but sometimes I didn’t notice the error until I got home. Now I keep an eagle eye on the register when they’re ringing me up.
The aisles in the store are very narrow, which makes it difficult to navigate, especially when they’re restocking their shelves or if another customer is pushing a cart down the aisle. However, they are currently renovating the store so hopefully their plans include widening the space for the customers. They did take over the building next door, so they are expanding their store space.

Beware of shopping here. To many times after getting home, I’ve discovered outdated items. Especially out of the deli. Also pay attention to the prices rung up on the screen. So often they are higher than what was posted. Stay away from «Whiterose» product. Nothing but garbage. The store will not stand behind what they sell. Once they have your money, forget it. Save yourself the headache and go a couple blocks down the ave to Foodtown. Better prices, better product, better selection, much friendlier employees. To bad zero stars aren’t available.

This supermarket is very convenient for me since I live a couple of blocks away. If you live nearby, this is a great option. I lost my patience with Food Town’s parking lot a while back. I find there are never lines in this Met store whatever time of day I stop in and they almost always have everything I need. Met is super clean and well organized. The staff are always polite and helpful which I can’t say for every other supermarket in Brooklyn. This is a small store but it’s definitely a great place to go for the basic stuff: beer, veggies, fruit, pasta, etc.

Beware anything bought from this place requiring refrigeration. I have on multiple occasions bought fermented juices, and curdled nut milk from this place, their response was to blame me for not liking the taste. The only value this place had was connivence, but now I take the extra 500 steps to the bigger better grocery store in the area, and with a longer walk I get fresher higher quality generally cheaper food.

The owners are very friendly, and very accommodating! Clean place, shelves are always stocked. I seem to always find what I want, if not I simply ask and they will check in the back and or order it for me! Good place to shop! Recommend highly!

Excellent bakery (bagels and bialis were fresh and flavorful) and deli (delicious sliced prosciutto and provolone cheese). They also had a pretty decent selection of beer for a supermarket. For whatever reason, I found myself craving some Hoegaardens on Christmas Eve and decided to check out Met Fresh after lucking out at the local liquor store. Lo and behold they had it, as well as a host of other quality brews. Prices were quite reasonable, as well. All in all, a welcome addition to South Bay Ridge, which in my opinion, has always been served by uninviting and overpriced supermarkets (Key Food, Food Town, etc.)

This supermarket is a block away from my house, so it is really convenient for me to grab stuff here and there. They have a nice produce area, the store is clean and orderly, they are open late, and they have the nicest cashiers i have ever come across, serously! The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because they do not have the extensive home/​beauty/​laundry section that Stop and Shop has.
