I’m reminded on a daily basis of the poor job Mega did on the installation of a new shower door. The door was installed poorly (it is crooked) and, as a result, squeaks when opening and closing. I called them to fix the problem, was treated rudely and, when the servicemen came, was told it couldn’t be corrected because of the dimensions of my shower enclosure. They sprayed the squeak with some WD-​40 and left. I’m going to have to pay another contractor to come in and fix the job. Pay a few dollars extra and call another glass company.

Super rude and horrible customer service. I had a simple, not even very large (12“x16″), glass on a picture frame replaced. The glass is not cut evenly and doesn’t quite match up with the frame. To make matters worse the removed the backing that had something to hang the frame from and replaced it with plain cardboard. They were so rude and hard to deal with I’m going to have to just fix it myself to avoid dealing with them again. Actually to be clear all the guys that worked there were very nice to me, it was only the owner who I believe is named Lorenzo that has an attitude problem.

Overpriced and shoddy workmanship. The job was two pieces of ¼ inch glass to top night stands, each piece 18X13, seamed edge and soft corners. The edging is uneven on every side and they did not round the corner points. When I asked them to smooth out the corners I was told it’d be an extra $ 20/​piece. As is, each piece was $ 30 so the entire job would’ve been over $ 100 for two pieces. Very disappointing on a no-​brainer job.

Recently worked with Mega Glass to order glass to be placed over an existing wood table for protective purposes and the experience was great. I am not savvy in any form of home improvement but Freddie & the woman at the counter (sorry — didn’t catch her name) were extremely helpful, showed me edge options, and even told me I really didn’t need to pay extra to get tempered glass in this case (which we ended up going with anyway, but I appreciated them not pushing the highest priced option). It was done in one week & looks great.

I needed two glass panels for doors to a media cabinet and brought them here. The selection of glass was small but I did find a type that was okay and the cost they quoted was not bad. The doors needed to be left with them overnight so the glue holding the glass in could set properly. When I returned to pick them up, the work was fine but the bill was much higher than I expected. Turns out that the price they gave me was only for the glass and did not include cutting it or gluing it into the doors.
