This is a really good pizzeria. There regular pizza is great and penne alla vodka is delicious. My family has been ordering from Luigi’s for many years.

I ordered the«Grandma’s MeatLovers» Pizza online for delivery and it came to 20 minutes early which was fine by me. The pie was gorgeous looking, super hot and delicious! I definitely will be ordering from them in the future!

Had pizza here when It was fresh out of oven. Delicious and I am giving that pizza 4.5 stars. I can not testify how the pizza is later in the day and it is my hope that the pizza is just as fresh. I will be coming back soon and I will keep everyone posted.

Good amount of seating room, they have a great grandmas slice. The staff is accommodating. This is a good place to grab a slice in the neighborhood

Below average Brooklyn Pizza. Cheap tasting cheese, decent crust and overly sweet sauce. With so many pizza places in Brooklyn, there is little chance I’ll be returning back here again.

The staff there is nice the pizza was quick. Nothing to complain about this place. And all the seats were clean when I walk in. Most of all fast service

If you want good Brooklyn style pizza in the neighborhood, I would highly recommend this place. Their pizza is made perfect with just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio on thin pizza crust. If you order $ 20 or more, you get a free 2 liter bottle of soda.

I’ve been there once and their Pizza was amazing! Also the staff was very nice. The price though was very high since there is a 7⁄11 very close to this place.

I’m kicking myself in the ass for not trying Luigi’s sooner after I moved around this neighborhood. The few times I have been here so far, the staff here was super nice, and always friendly and welcoming The regular slice here is perfect, thinner dough, perfect crisp, and good sauce to cheese ratio, and overall delicious flavor The white slice here is also perfect, good cheese to ricotta ratio, slice has a ton of flavor, no seasoning needed My no fail go to now

Decent pizza. Good price. Had everything ready when we picked up at the time they gave us. The staff were polite and ordering online was quick and easy.

I just had a cheese pizza delivered to me. The pizza took 30 minutes to get to me so that was timely which reflected in my tips… but there was a strange taste to my pizza. The sauce tastes like it had cigarette ashes mixed in. I’m sure if I ordered pepperoni pizza, the saltiness of the meat would have masked the strange flavor but that’s not the case.

This is a great pizza place. They have slices, pies, salads, wings, and even whole lunch/dinner entrees. Even their sandwiches, heros & appetizers are awesome; A few of the sandwiches are great, and amazingly tasty! The food there is amazing and soo good, too. The whole pies are so great, they look and taste perfect. I love their delivery, in that they bring me everything, and its always soo good. They also have great service right to my door! I’m also glad they have hours past regular lunch and dinner times, since I’m sometimes back later. I highly recommend Luigi’s Pizza to everyone.

Every now and then… and I mean… every now and then you find a place that leaves you in awe they are still in business. I ordered a chicken sandwich… which tasted as if it were cooked on someones dirty radiator… totally disgusting. Also ordered 2 cheeseburger deluxe which they totally forgot the fries and when I called the order taker simply said«Well, we didn’t charge you so»… I mean wow!!! I ordered 2 slices of pizza for my daughter who loooooves pizza and she could barely make it thru the first slice and asked for peanut butter and jelly… SMFH! Their real moment of glory though has got to go to their horrendous interpretation of antipasto… I will include this in as a pic for all to see. I’ve eaten antipasto from push carts delivered with more class and style… This was rolled up freezer burned cold cuts tossed into what looked like lettuce and veggies they keep in their cellar and deliver to you mucky and slimy… EWWWWWWWWWWWWW. By all means, the reviews up on here speak for themselves. Stay the hell away unless your just looking to throw your money out the window… and maybe even your health.

This is the only pizzeria I order from. I usually just order the same thing which is the penne alla vodka pie, which is to die for. Surprising that I haven’t gotten sick of it yet. Every time I come here, I get pretty good service and delivery is pretty quick. The only downside is that on occasion, when I order single slices it doesn’t taste all that fresh. Overall, I am mostly satisfied with my experience here.

Alright, I lied. I tried this place again. They no longer seem to use the clam shell for the pasta with clam sauce which seems to be a good thing. Problem is that something must very unsanitary there. Ordered pasta with white clam sauce then hours late became very sick. Food poisoning — Bingo. Out of commission for four long, horrible days. I’m really never ordering from this place again.

I use to live in another part of Brooklyn where you’re almost guaranteed to get a decent, regular slice of pizza that tastes fresh. Here, I tasted my first and worse slice of pizza. I ordered a reg slice with black Olives, simple right? The worker simply threw black olives on top and heated it in the oven. I was served a pizza that tasted days old with ALL of my olive pieces falling all over the place. You’d think that the worker would have had enough common sense to put a little bit of mozzarella, to use as a «glue» so that the toppings can stay in place. I probably won’t ever come back here again.

I like it here. It’s even here since I was a little kid. So many pizza places come and go but this one has even here for so long. That really says something about a place. I’d say one of the better pizza places on ave u. It’s nice to get a quick bite or delivery. Whenever I do delivery, it comes pretty quickly and I live about 10 blocks away.

Terrible delivery experience. My boyfriend and I ordered from Luigi at 10:15pm, and our order arrived at 11pm — 45 mins. being completely acceptable for me, so that’s not where my complaints begin. We ordered the following things: A large cheese pizza, spinach roll, caesar salad, garlic knots, rice ball, and zeppoles. The pizza was solid. It was decent Brooklyn pizza. I’d give it a 3⁄5. There was nothing particularly bad about it, but nothing particularly great about it either. A decent slice, that became more solid once I chopped up some fresh basil, ground some fresh black pepper, and grated some Parmesan cheese. You really shouldn’t have to go through such measures for a decent slice, but after ordering an entire large pie — you gotta do what you gotta do to make it enjoyable. The spinach roll was awful. The spinach tasted metallic. It left the taste of a handful of pennies in my mouth. The spinach was either canned and/or overcooked, and Luigi’s makes one of the worst mistakes you could possibly make with spinach rolls — the spinach wasn’t chopped! So you take a bite of the roll, and pull out an entire wad of 6 inch long pieces of spinach with each bite. Quite uncouth. There was no ricotta in the roll, which isn’t a necessity, but is usually a nice extra touch, but the mozzarella in the roll, and the zeppole-tasting dough couldn’t make up for the terrible spinach. Shame. The caesar salad tasted quite good. Kudos on the dressing. But the reality is that my order of salad was little more than a foil container full of chopped romaine lettuce, 5 or 6 croutons, and dressing. That really isn’t a caesar salad. I went out of my way to shred my own Parmesan into it, grind my own pepper, add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce — I pretty much paid $ 6 for a bowl of lettuce with some dressing, and did everything else myself. The garlic knots were good. They were very garlicky, which I enjoy. The dough was soft and chewy. They tasted as they should, and the marinara sauce that came with them was very tasty as well. No complaints there. The rice ball was AWFUL. It was mostly breading. As nice of a size as it was(I’d say about 5 inches in diameter), there was no rice in it! It was about 80% breading, and 20% actual rice and filling. What a disappointment. It didn’t taste particularly bad, but I didn’t pay for a breading ball, I paid for a rice ball, and it’s one of the worst I’ve ever had. The zeppoles might’ve been the biggest disappointment. They were cold, hard, and tough. I tried microwaving them to a warm and edible consistency, but they just ended up as chewy as car tires. Plus — huge pizzeria no-no when it comes to zeppoles — they should be COVERED in powdered sugar, and there was hardly any. Long story short, I will more than likely not order from here again. Far too many disappointments, and not enough positive points. The plain slices were ok, and everything else left way too much to be desired. I’d definitely suggest trying another pizzeria in the area if that’s what you’re craving.
