Among the many other Chinese food restaurants Avenue L has to offer, Lucky’s was my preferred. I’ve have be going and ordering from Lucky’s for years now and I can’t really complain. You get basic Chinese food at a typical prices, but their rice is always a lot fresher then the other place, the fried chicken just a little better cooked and crisp. More pork in the pork fried rice and more meat than broccoli with your white rice. Which is why I’m sad to see them go, they have closed up shop and moved to a new location on Utica. Could be all the competition and their slightly lower prices, whatever the reason they will be missed.
