DONOTGOTOCINDY! My nails are thick, and she was unable to acheive the shape that I had to keep showing her pictures of. She did a sloppy job. She takes long and your nails will not be up to par.

Very nice, inexpensive place. It’s cheap, so the atmosphere isn’t fancy, and the equipment isn’t the newest, considering the quality and service this place deserves five stars. I don’t know about the polish selection– I brought my own and would suggest you do too. I got a mani/pedi for $ 17, and I was in bad shape when I went in. The technician took a lot of time making sure my feet and hands were in good condition and even massaged hands and legs and used a hot towel. She had excellent eye for detail and took care of little problems I never would have noticed. Everything looks great, and I’m very satisfied.

I always am confused at places that could look a lot nicer if someone took some Windex to a mirror or pick up a two dollar trash can from Deals that doesn’t look like it’s been abused for years. This is one of those places. They used a razor on my male friends feet, which was probably necessary but I don’t think salons are allowed to do that anymore. I did not see an autoclave and the tools used looked like they were not washed between customers. The box that the tools were in as well as all surfaces were covered in nail dust and dried paint. If my mani and pedi were great I could forgive the dirtiness of the salon but they weren’t. My cuticles were jagged, my paint job sloppy. I love salon manicures because the lines are sharper and cleaner than what I can do. This one has lumps in places where the polish was applied too thick and is not tidy around the edges. pedicure was super fast… Like a little too fast. I have a bubble in my toe nail polish that wasn’t fixed. Yes it’s cheap, but I’ll pass. Himal nails is a little further but a dollar or two cheaper and though it is run down, it’s less of a dump.

I had a lovely time, very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. There was an adorable teenager there who talked to me about my piercings and cats. My nails and brows look great. But after stating that I did not want my lip waxed the girl went ahead and did it anyway. I don’t mind, I got the impression from her that my face needed it, but it still required my to go back with a second bill to pay.

Came here to get the $ 6 manicure with my bf, who wanted to get a simple pedicure. We both ended up getting talked into more expensive services — but OK, it was worth it. I upgraded to the $ 20 gel manicure. $ 20! Cheaper than the salons in Manhattan for sure. The lady didn’t really ask me what shape I wanted to file or how much nail to keep, so she gave me nails that were a little too squared off and short, but I was too lazy to tell her so that’s my bad. I’m sure if I was assertive with exactly what I wanted, I would get it. My bf got a spa pedicure for $ 30(but you know… without toenail polish, haha) and he got an intense scraping and callus removal, massage after massage, scrubs, and the works. Seems like he really got his moneys worth! To be honest, this place is an obvious hole in the wall and everything seems to be a little run down or old. Definitely not a «spa atmosphere» but the ladies are sweet and good at what they do, and the price is right, so why complain?

Stopped in here for a simple manicure. Very well done! At only $ 6, can’t beat that. Definitely a no frills type of place. Polish selection is so-so, but you will find something that you like, trust me. I want to try a few others on/near Broadway, but I will definitely return.

Okay, I won’t even lie and tell you this is a high-end joint because it’s not. In fact, it’s in the hood and it is definitely more hood than fancy. However, this is what makes it GREAT: 1. HUGE Lazy-Boy recliners that adjust your back and your leg room. 2. SPA pedicure with ALL the amenities i.e., clay mask wrap, fragrant lemon scrub and unhurried foot massage 3. EXCEPTIONAL service 4. Nice, big, color television with cable I love the nail tech here named Cindy. She is a pleasant little hustler(always trying to sell me the individual lashes or the eyebrow pluck or some other treatment I neither want nor need). Cindy has an award-winning personality and has mastered customer service. She helps my fat ass into and out of the chair. She is ALWAYS happy to see her customers. Greets EVERYBODY with a big smile and a hug. Does a DAMNGOODJOB and doesn’t complain if you ask her to do a little extra. My mani/pedi is always close to $ 100 because I get the whole nine yards(tips, designs, gel, etc.) and I ALWAYS give Cindy a $ 10+ tip. One day I dropped by after not having been in awhile and my feet were atrocious. In my limited knowledge of Mandarin I overheard Cindy discussing my feet in Chinese to the other tech. lol So I asked her, «Cindy you talking about me?» And my girl replied, «Yes…but no worry; you good customer; I love you.» Gotta love her!
